Rihan (pronounced like Rihanna with the na) is a super sweet girl who loves her people whole heartedly. She attaches very quickly. Rihan is loving and likes to hang out in her bed on the couch or in your lap. She loves her walks so much, but when we’re done, she wants to go back in immediately. She would love to go after every squirrel or crow in our path. She is crate trained but does great uncrated when we are gone and does enjoy sleeping on our bed at night. She is excellent riding in the car. And you won’t believe the wonderful greetings we get when we get home!It takes her a little time to warm up to new people and dogs in her life. She can be a little picky when deciding if you are okay to be in her circle. Once she’s comfortable, she’s great. But she has told us in no uncertain terms that she does not like being around kids at all. That would go for grandchildren, also. We feel that something traumatic must have happened to her in her short little life. She could be happy with the right dog, but she can be possessive of her toys, food, and even the water bowl. She’s perfect with our dogs on our walks, though. The right dog would be one who is not submissive and will let her know that being this way is not okay. She could also be happy being an only dog. She’s very agile and is a good jumper. When she’s comfortable with a dog, she loves to play with them, including zoomies and chasing balls. I hope you’re comfortable with squeaky toys because she’s into them! She’s looking for a home that is more on the quiet side. She’s fine with smaller parties but we’re not quite sure about larger gatherings. She’s a doll and we love having her in our home. She is very happy when she is allowed to be your little shadow.
