Story
Meet Cotton! He’s a sweet, snuggly boy who’s doing great at the rescue! He was found stray and we pulled him from a kill shelter. He’s great with other dogs and all people. He’s a scruffy little terrier mix, about 1 year old and 15 pounds. He’s a really good little guy who just loves attention.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 26, 2024, 2:52 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Rosie and I see you have already read about my brother Riley. I am a one year old wire haired terrier mix, around 40 lbs. I am a sweet girl who loves everyone, although neither my brother nor I have any cat experience. I am a bit shy and I do love to have my "big" brother around so would love to go to a home with him if at all possible. Just think - double the love and fun! I am sure he said that we came from the streets so there are lots of new skills we are still learning but both of us are super sweet and are so excited to find this thing they call a "home". *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

These pups are in Shoreline, Washington too!

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org My name is Lily Syd from Mexico and I am a wonderful approx. 1 year old female Cairn Terrier.  I am approx. 5 lbs., a sweet, loving, fun and playful dog.  I am a very happy dog and so excited to find my forever home soon.  Mexico is so overloaded with dogs roaming all over the streets with no food, love or care.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to come to Seattle to find a new forever home!  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your very best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, other dogs but have not been around cats before.  I will do best in a home with a loving family that can give me lots of exercise, love and affection!  Our pet rescue dog trainer would be happy to come to your home and help train with your new dog and this is highly recommended. My adoption fee of $1,495. covers Spay/Neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordatella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate, and transport cost from MEXICO to SEA TTLE.  The adoption fee is firm and helps cover the medical expenses of our other rescue dogs in need.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.
