Meet Galilea — A True Survivor with a Heart of Gold Name: GalileaAge: 4 yearsGender: FemaleWeight: 13 kg (28 lbs)Breed: Wire Fox Terrier (Long Hair) Health & Training Spayed Vaccinated Heartworm Negative Leash trained Fully potty trained Crate trained Good With: Dogs Cats Children (who understand gentle, respectful interaction) Daily LifeGalilea currently lives with other foster dogs and shares her space beautifully. She sleeps in a cozy dog bed alongside her foster siblings and settles in calmly when left alone. Galilea’s Personality Galilea’s journey is one of resilience, healing, and quiet strength. After two years of rehabilitation and professional training, she has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate, and deeply loving companion. She is: Sweet, calm, and kind-hearted Trusting and affectionate with people Social and peaceful with other dogs and cats Polite, well-mannered, and responsive to training Comfortable on leash and relaxed in the car A lover of daily walks and serene outdoor time Galilea worked closely with a professional trainer during her rehabilitation and has excelled in learning basic commands and good manners. She is intelligent, eager to please, and continues to grow more confident every day. Galilea isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for a family who will honor her journey and cherish the gentle soul she is today. Galilea’s Ideal Home Galilea will thrive in a calm, loving home where patience, consistency, and kindness are part of daily life. Her ideal home includes: A peaceful household that enjoys quality time and daily walks Gentle, respectful children Other friendly dogs or cats (optional but welcome) A family committed to positive reinforcement and routine A stable, nurturing environment where she can continue to blossom She does beautifully with a balance of outdoor activity and quiet indoor moments—whether relaxing by your side or enjoying a calm stroll. Galilea’s Rescue Story Galilea’s life began with heartbreak. She was given as a “gift” to a family who did not understand kindness or responsibility toward animals. The children were never taught how to interact gently, and the adults allowed this mistreatment. Galilea lived in constant fear until she was ultimately discarded. Thankfully, a compassionate neighbor stepped in and reached out for help. One of our rescuers brought Galilea to safety and began her long journey toward healing. Just as she started to feel secure again, Galilea was attacked by another dog during a routine walk with a dog walker, suffering serious physical injuries and emotional trauma. Her recovery became even more complex—but she never gave up. With unwavering dedication, Galilea’s rescuer committed to her rehabilitation, working closely with a professional trainer and a specialized boarding facility. Through patience, structure, and unconditional love, Galilea slowly learned that the world could be safe again. Today, after two years of healing, Galilea is a gentle, trusting, and loving dog—ready to leave her painful past behind and begin her forever chapter. Galilea is living proof that even the most broken beginnings can lead to beautiful endings. Story
Meet Charlotte Charlotte is a sweet, easy-going 1-year-old girl with a gentle, joyful personality. Weighing just 8 kg (17.6 lbs), this Wire Fox Terrier mix is the perfect size for both cuddles and adventures. She truly loves people and enjoys the company of other dogs—whether that means playtime or simply sharing space peacefully. Charlotte walks well on leash, rides calmly in the car, and looks forward to her daily walks where she can explore the world at her own pace. She is smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn, making training fun and rewarding with positive reinforcement. She is potty trained in her foster environment and is expected to adjust quickly to new house rules. While she is not yet crate trained, she is adaptable and a fast learner. Charlotte currently shares her space with other dogs in foster care and sleeps comfortably on a dog bed in a designated area of the home. With her loving nature and balanced temperament, Charlotte would make a wonderful companion for a family or individual looking for an affectionate, loyal, and adaptable dog to share everyday life and adventures. Charlotte’s Ideal Home Charlotte would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be treated as a true family member. Her ideal home includes: A family or individual who enjoys daily walks and quality time together Plenty of affection and human interaction—she loves being around people Friendly resident dogs (a bonus, but not required) Continued positive-reinforcement training, which she excels at A relaxed apartment or house environment where she can feel safe and secure Above all, Charlotte is looking for kindness, consistency, and warmth—a place where she can continue to blossom and share her sweet, easy-going nature every day. Charlotte’s Rescue Story Charlotte once had a home, but sadly she was never properly cared for. After enduring long-term neglect, she was eventually abandoned. A kind neighbor found her in poor condition, covered in fleas and clearly in need of help. Trying to do the right thing, the woman attempted to treat the fleas using a liquid she didn’t realize was toxic for dogs. Although well-intended, it caused severe skin irritation and inflammation, leaving Charlotte uncomfortable and in pain. When it became clear that she couldn’t provide the care Charlotte needed, she reached out for help. That’s when Charlotte came into our care. With proper veterinary treatment, time, and lots of love, Charlotte made a full recovery. Today, her skin has healed, her spirit is bright, and she is ready to leave her difficult past behind. Charlotte is healthy, happy, and prepared to start a new chapter with a family who will love and protect her forever. Adoption InfoCharlotte is currently waiting in Mexico and will travel once a family commits to a 10-day trial. Story
Meet Castiel! Castiel is currently 8 months old, and we think he may be a wire hair terrier and chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Castiel is a joyful boy with a wiry coat, probably moderate to low shedder, and he’s young so he has spunky energy. He likes toys and playing with kids! He tries to instigate play and engagement. Castile is so unique and beautiful! Everywhere we take him, people talk about how unique he is! Castiel is a Good little guy! He played with Jessica - another small playful dog- and he is not too pushy with his play, for a puppy. He played chase for a little bit and would come back up to me to sit next to my feet. Once he got tired he would lay down in front of me and relax taking all the affection he could get. He is a puppy so he will need some training as he gets older, but he will learn quickly because he is very much a people pleaser. When he met my kids ages 4 and 7, he was joyful and wanted to engage with them. He’s very trusting and outgoing. He does like toys and wants to initiate play. He met a cat with us and was uninterested. Watch Castiel's video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA8uxj60QXw Castiel is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Castiel is a special boy who doesn't let anything slow him down. He is hearing impaired but is still fully capable of jumping up on the couch for a romp and a snuggle. He is not shy and adores other dogs and wants to be everyone's friend. Castiel is a one of a kind guy! It’s not everyday you get the chance to adopt a blue eyed wonderboy! If you are looking for a friend to spend your days with, Castiel is your guy! Castiel is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Castiel’s new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6847277be1ba93663e02dcd5 Please email emilyparsons@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.
