Adoption fee will cover all his expenses , including neutering surgery , Brodie will not go to his home until he is fixed and fully vetted . Brodie was born thru a c section so his mother expenses also need to be covered , When you adopt instead of buying a dog , you're being part of a bigger plan ! as you're not just changing the life of the dog you adopt , but also helping provide medical care for the older not so cute dog who also needs us . ADOPTION PENDING. Help us welcome Snickers, a 2 year old, 10lb Yorkie boy. Snickers loves to snuggle and give kisses and will quickly become your shadow - ready to enjoy the latest movie binge with you on the couch or hop in the car for a ride. He still has puppy energy and loves being outside and going on walks. He enjoys carrying around his toys but has not mastered fetch yet. LOL One of his favorite pastimes is to sit on the windowsill and look at the window. Snickers also loves to talk to you (aka bark) so no apartments or condos for him. Snickers is good with cats and loves all humans. He is fine with other dogs as long as they respect his space and don't try to steal his toys or food. He loves spa days and stands in the sink enjoying a warm bath. He is crate-trained and doesn’t mind spending time napping to sleeping in a crate. We do not know Snickers’ prior history but he is sensitive to loud noises and quick movements and will cower as in fear so we are looking for an adopter who will help him learn he is safe and loved, and will patiently work with him on his trust issues. The 4th of July may be over but this little firecracker will light up your nights all year long. Meet Matilda, a 10 year old, 7lb Yorkie girl. We don’t know how she ended up at the shelter but as soon as she got in the car for her freedom ride, she lit up. Matilda is Ms. PERSONALITY and she knows it! She acts much younger than her age and is very active —-following her foster Mom everywhere. She is a velcro dog and wants to be with her and keep her in her sights. She is super friendly and such a fun, happy girl. When she gets excited, she will dance around and nibble on your feet. Matilda gets along GREAT with other dogs. We don’t know about cats or kids. She is a great car rider and enjoys getting out and about with her humans. She also has excellent house manners. Everyone say hi to Franklin, a sweet and ohhh soooo loving 4 year old 5 lb yorkie boy. Franklin came to us after we were called to help rescue dogs during a backyard breeder raid in Miami Dade county. He along with 9 of his siblings were immediately taken by our foster parents/volunteers from the authorities and provided with all the necessary attention, treats and vetting (Franklin even had a dental where he lost quite a number of teeth due to neglect and poor oral hygiene) to get them settled and ready for adoption...and NOW, after a couple of weeks of decompression and spoiling they are ready. Little Franklin is the most outgoing of the group- he is a little attention hog and will smother you with kisses if you let him. He loves other dogs and has the most beautiful hazel colored eyes too...he is quite the little looker. At any given moment he can be inquisitive and ready for action, and then just as quickly can settle into your lap for some cuddle time. Because of his size we prefer a home with no small children - this is for his safety and not because of any behavioral issues he has - quite frankly he is delightful and perfect in our eyes 🙂.
