Hi I'm Stevie! I'm a little terrier/chi mix puppy estimated at 9 weeks old as of end mid-April. My mama landed at a county shelter pregnant and thankfully Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue pulled her just in time - she gave birth on the way to our foster! My foster gave our little family the medical and general care we needed over the past 2 months so I can be ready for my forever home. My mama is only 6-7 lbs so my rescue thinks I will stay quite small. Mama appears to be a Yorkie/Chi Mix and my rescue see Yorkie, Maltese and Chi in our litter. Now I'm ready for my forever family! My adoption applications will be strictly vetted and my adopter will be contractually bound to spay me (included in fee, see below) at or around the age of 6 months unless there is a medical reason not to. Absolutely no exceptions! My adoption fee is $950 and includes vet check, deworming, up to date shots, microchip and neuter (when I'm a bit older at one of my rescue's vets in Ft Myers). Hi I'm Princess! I'm around 3 years old and spend my entire life in a crate in a Georgia puppy mill. I was rescued and landed at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue thankfully and I'm learning how to experience life outside of a cage. I'm a very sweet, tiny girl (just around 5 lbs) and will do best in a quiet home with a patient new family that will give me the time and space to continue to come out of my shell and build a bond with them. I have had Cato since he was 3 months and we've lived in 4 different states. He is neutered and recently turned 14 years old. He enjoys cuddles, walks, treats, and braided chew sticks. Due to having to work two jobs 7 days a week with no days off, I can no longer provide him with the love, exercise, and attention he needs. Despite his age, he is still playful but shows signs of hearing and vision loss, but I would not declare him deaf or blind. He is housed with my other two dogs, however he may not get along with other dogs/children and has a specific spot where he dislikes being touched. He chews on blankets and dog beds out of boredom and or separation anxiety. He has a sensitive stomach and allergies to certain grass/trees. Cato is trained to use a doggy door and crate trained. I want the best for him but feel unable to provide that in his last years and the thought of him being put down if I surrender him is just heartbreaking, knowing he still has life to live and love to give.
