Despite all that, I am a happy and friendly little girl. I get along well with other dogs and with people, but not with cats. I'm a little Yorkie girl, 7 months old, and currently weigh 5 1/2 pounds. This adorable little thing with the face of an angel is very, very selective who he'll allow in his inner-circle. He was abandoned; tied to the fence of our spay and neuter clinic a few years ago and he CAN be a little biter.. There's no rhyme or reason - either he will like you or he won't, so he'll definitely need to go to a quiet home without children. He does well with other dogs.

I am so happy these nice ladies could take us in. ❤️ I am a delicate little girl and a bit timid, but I am very sweet and once I get to know you and feel safe, I warm right up. 🥰 I get along with other dogs and cats and I think older kids (10 and up) will be just fine. Hey everybody...it's me TRIX! I am a 9 year young 9 lb yorkie boy in search of my forever home where I will be loved and spoiled on ...yup...I am a super loving little boy and quite demure too. I wasn’t in good shape when the FCCR ladies rescued me but now I am feeling great. I am on a special diet to help my kidneys and it’s working…the vet says my numbers are improving and that must be good because I got lots of kisses during my last visit. My foster mom says I am a sweet, mellow fellow. I love all people and other dogs. I think a cat would be okay. I also LOVE my food and do a happy dance when I know it’s coming. I eat only soft food because I don’t have any toothies left. 😢 I never had any dental 🦷 care before and when I arrived to FCCR, my mouth was a mess and I was in pain. But I am good now and love my soft food and treats. I go for walks in the yard every few hours so I am looking for a home where someone is home often. Once I do my business my foster Mom loves on me with lots of pets and praise. I LOVE to be petted…It’s probably my favorite thing. I also like to be brushed but I live to be petted. 😂 When I want her attention I jump on my hind legs and of course she can’t resist me. Hello kind folks! My name is Sonia and I am a 10 year old 9 lb yorkie girl in search of my new home and forever family. I was found wandering the streets of South Florida right before New Years Day and I can tell you I was very very scared. Thankfully the shelter director called FCCR for assistance and in a New York minute I was picked up and placed in a quiet foster home to decompress and enjoy the holidays in a peaceful and loving home. Foster mommy says I am a very sweet, loving and quiet little girl. I love being around people and other dogs but no idea on cats...quite frankly as long as they are friendly I am sure I'd like them. They just need to be nice kitties since I am a SMALL little girl and I have zero aggression in me so if they were to pick a fight I wouldn't know what to do!!!! Hello 👋🏻 worrrrrrrld! My name is Cairo, and I'm a 2-year-old Yorkie boy weighing in at a mighty 13 pounds. I may be small, but I have a BIG personality and I will make you smile 😃 every day! Sometimes I am feeling silly 🤪 and will stand on my hind legs…I’m told it is “super cute” and makes my foster Mom giggle. I say I’m just trying to get a better view of the world…and maybe spot some treats! Speaking of which, the way to my heart is food, food, and more food! I'm VERY food motivated, which makes training a breeze. My foster mom is teaching me to take treats more gently, but sometimes my excitement gets the better of me. What can I say? I'm always ready for snack time! I’m a very friendly guy and quite the social butterfly especially when it comes to other dogs. I love making four-legged friends and would love to have a canine sibling to play with. I think calm kitties and older kids are probably also okay, but I haven't had the chance to meet any yet. One of my favorite things is exploring on walks—there's so much to sniff and discover! I’m working on my leash-walking skills and I’m getting better with each passing day and each brisk walk. I learn new things quickly, especially when treats are involved! Hah, did I say treats AGAIN?! I'm still working on my house manners, but I'm proud to say I keep my crate nice and clean! Speaking of my crate, it's my safe space! I'm completely crate-trained and feel secure in my little den, especially when there is a soft and cushy comforter or pad in it. More than anything, I love being with my humans. Cuddles and kisses are my specialty, and I have a big heart ♥️ full of love to give a forever family! Could your home be my forever home?
