Story
Hi there- my name is Kelley! I was surrendered to a local vet office. I am estimated at around 4 years old and look like a Yorkie/schnauzer mix- best guess? Not much is known about my past- the rescue thinks I was used for breeding as I am very shy and don’t really know how to be a real dog yet. I am looking for someone who will be patient and willing to help me learn the things I should already know to be part of a family. I will need help with potty training and leash training. I am dog friendly, so a fur sibling might help me learn, too.My $350.00 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, dental work, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Story
Meet Stella!Stella is a sweet, affectionate, and playful little Yorkie teacup who will be turning 2 years old in August. She loves to cuddle, enjoys traveling, and is wonderful with children. We brought Stella home a year ago as a companion for a 9-year-old yorkie, but we've learned that both dogs have dominant personalities. Because of this Stella would do best as an only pet in a loving home where she can receive all the attention she deserves. This has been an incredible difficult decision because we love Stella dearly. Our hope is to find her the perfect forever family where she can thrive. We are asking what A brand new travel carrier is included with her. An adoption fee of $499 applies to help ensure she goes to a committed, loving home.If you think Stella would be a great fit for your family, we'd love to hear from you!❤️

Story
Hi ya, new friends! My name is Bonnie and I’m a one-year-old Yorkie mix girl – and I pack a whole lot of personality into my tiny 9-pound frame. People say I’ve got that classic terrier attitude, and I would say they’re absolutely right. LOL I’m confident, I’m smart as a whip, and I know exactly what I want out of life. And what I want most is my very own family who gets me. I’ve been let down before by people before but I’m an optimist at heart. I trust quickly because I believe in second chances, and I’m hoping you might be mine. When I find my people, I love them with every ounce of my little being. I’m the kind of dog who will be your shadow, your confidant, and your most loyal companion. Two big personal pluses — I have excellent house manners and I’m fantastic on a leash. I love our walks together and showing off my perfect manners. I actually get along just fine with other dogs most of the time – we can play and hang out together without any drama. But when it’s meal time or I’m playing with my favorite toys, I prefer to enjoy them without other dogs around. A girl deserves some space sometimes! Speaking of space, I’d really thrive in an adults-only home. Kids are great, but their energy can be a bit much for a sophisticated lady like me. I prefer the calmer rhythm of adult life, where I can be the center of attention and get all the love and respect I deserve. If you’re looking for a small dog with a huge heart and just the right amount of sass, I might be your perfect match. I will bring joy, laughter, and endless snuggles to the right family. Could that be you? If yes, apply to adopt me using this adoption application link: https://tinyurl.com/FCCRadoptionapp . ADOPTION FEE: $375.00

Story
Hi, I'm Bolto! Yeah, like the movie dog — and trust me, I live up to the name. I'm a two-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix with 17 pounds of pure personality, and I am HERE for adventure. Yes, I am a bit of an escape artist. That’s how I ended up here…but can you blame me? No one paid me any attention. Now that I'm with people who give me the love I deserve, I want to stick around and I want a family to stick close to! 🏡 But hey, an open door or gate can be tempting so my new family needs to be sure everything is always closed when I’m around. Now for more of the good stuff…I’m affectionate, loyal, brave, and just a little bit hilarious. I love a good game of fetch or tug-o-war — especially with a willing dog sidekick! Speaking of which, I'd really love a dog sibling to share my adventures with. I play hard and love harder, so I'd do best with older kids who can match my energy. A securely fenced yard is a must for this athletic boy. I'm still working on my leash manners and can get a little spooked by loud noises, so patience goes a long way with me. 🙏 I may already be housebroken, but I'll probably need a little refresher in a new home — no biggie! At the end of the day, you'll find me curled up on the couch and I will sleep there all night. Oh, and I will absolutely be your sous chef — stationed hopefully near the snacks. If you're looking for a funny, devoted best friend, I might just be your guy. Apply to adopt me using this adoption application link: https://tinyurl.com/FCCRadoptionapp Adoption fee: $295

Story
Hellooo FCCR friends, my name is Fifi and I’m a10 years old, 8lb Yorkie girl. I came from a local shelter and I’ve been through a lot in my little life, so I’m looking for someone with patience and a gentle hand who will take the time to earn my trust. It won’t take long though — once I get to know you, I’m all kisses and I’ll roll right over for belly rubs! My ideal human is female, and I bond quickly and deeply with my special someone. I’m very energetic and I love to play once I feel comfortable, and I do okay with other dogs — it just takes time and the right introductions. I actually do well at the dog park once I’ve had a chance to settle in! I’m mostly housebroken but do best with a consistent daily schedule. I’m crate-trained and feel safe there, but if a nice soft dog bed is available - especially in a corner or under a table - I won’t say no. I travel well in the car in my crate, and bath time doesn’t bother me. I haven’t had much practice walking on a leash yet and I don’t know what to do with a harness on, so I’ll need someone willing to work through that with me slowly — and please watch the door, because I might dash out if given the chance! During my recent trip to the vet, I got my eye checked (you might notice it looks cloudy) and learned it’s just cosmetic — no treatment needed — and I have some vision in it. I also lost a lot of teeth so while I still love my treats and squeaky toys (intensely LOL), everything needs to be softer. I admit my table manners around food need a little polishing too. I know I come with a few quirks, but underneath it all is a sweetheart who just wants a person of her own. Could that be you? Apply here: https://tinyurl.com/FCCRadoptionapp Adoption fee: $285

Story
BONDED TO ONEY Meet Tom and Oney! Hi FCCR family, I’m Tom, an 8-year-old, 9-pound Yorkie boy, and this is my best friend and sister Oney – she’s a 10-year-old, 12-pound girl, and we’re a package deal! I love belly rubs, playing with toys AND crawling into boxes, plus racing around the yard, and afternoon naps on the couch. Oney’s my cuddle buddy who likes carrying blankets instead of toys (much comfier for napping on, she says!). She’s a retired puppy mama ready for the leisure life, and while she takes a minute to warm up to new people, once she does, she’s all about those back rubs. We’re both pretty good with housetraining as long as we get outside every few hours, and we love our treats for a job well done! Oney’s an excellent watchdog who’ll let you know when something’s up, and I’m just friendly with everyone. We’re great with other dogs, not sure about cats since we’ve never met one, and we’d probably do best with older kids. We sleep together in a crate at night and stick together like glue because we’re bonded for life. Oh, and we both have a little quirk with our back legs (birth deformities that can’t be fixed, but don’t worry – we’re not in pain!), and it doesn’t slow us down one bit! We’re ready to find our forever home where we can love, play, and cuddle together!
