Hello Everyone, My name is Trifle and I’m a 2 mo old Yorkiepoo baby boy who is as sweet as can be. I am looking for my happily ever after. Investing your time and love into me will be so worth it!! I am an absolute sweetheart. I was rescued and am now in a foster home awaiting my forever family. I am a sweet, loving and smart lil baby who just wants a loving family. I am happy, playful and an absolute joy to be around. I love playing and I am right at the perfect age for lots of training. I am good with children and other animals. Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family and contact jbrescuerangers@yahoo.com for an adoption application and bring me home. I will come with the works (neutered, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested, monthly heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for? Love and Kisses, Trifle

Story
Meet Gracie! Gracie is a 3-5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier mix weighing just 9 pounds, and she’s ready to begin the life she’s always deserved. This sweet little girl didn’t receive much love or affection in her earlier years, but now her eyes are bright and her heart is open. With patience and kindness, her gentle personality truly shines. When meeting new people, Gracie can be shy and timid at first, approaching with caution and tenderness. Once she feels safe, she enjoys quiet companionship, soft affection, and long, relaxing naps. She’s just beginning to discover toys and is finding them more and more interesting as her confidence grows. Gracie is also doing well with her potty training and continues to make steady progress. She gets along nicely with other dogs of all sizes. Gracie would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel secure and cherished. A fenced-in yard is preferred, and she would do best in a home with children ages 6 and older who understand how to be gentle and respectful with a small dog. She’s looking for a forever family who will spoil her with love and patience and allow her to blossom at her own pace. If you’re searching for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s happiest simply being by your side, Gracie promises endless love in the tiniest, sweetest packag   If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! Story
Benny is a 7½-pound Terrier/Yorkie mix who came from a backyard breeder situation (along with his sister, Bitsy) and is just beginning to learn what it feels like to be safe and loved. Right now, she’s a little timid, but with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, he starts to warm up to adults, kids, and most other dogs. He’s learning the basics of leash walking and is making progress with housebreaking. Benny reliably uses puppy pads and is starting to understand outdoor potty routines. He can be left alone for 2–4 hours, making him a good fit for someone with a flexible but not constant schedule.Benny isn’t interested in toys just yet and currently has low energy, but he enjoys running in the backyard when he feels comfortable. A fenced yard is a plus but not required. After everything he’s been through, Benny needs a calm, loving home with someone who understands that trust takes time. With patience, kindness, and a gentle routine, he will blossom into a loyal, tender companion who will appreciate love more deeply than most.If you’re looking for a little dog with a soft spirit and a huge capacity for connection, Benny is waiting. This is a Pay It Forward dog. This means the adoption donation of $450 will help to save another pup needing rescue and vetting. Story
Mellie is a gorgeous Terrier/Yorkie mix ready for a forever home. She came to us from local animal control after being found as a stray and never reclaimed. It was reported that she had a seizure at animal control on her first day, but has not had any seizures since. Our vets completed bloodwork and an exam, which came back great. They said sometimes dogs may have seizures due to stress, if they had gotten into something toxic, or that a dog may have 1-2 seizures a year without requiring medication. Mellie does not currently require any medication for the past seizure and has been doing well. She loves greeting staff and rolling in the grass. She is looking for a home without other dogs. She can be dog reactive on leash, which can make walks more difficult, so a yard would be beneficial. Mellie can be nervous with new people, so she will require a slow introduction. She is looking for a calm home without children. Mellie LOVES to run around outside and play with toys. She does get mouthy when she gets super playful or over excited.
