Adoption Donation: $450 Max may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a few treats and a little patience, and you’ll see his sweet personality start to shine. Once he feels comfortable, he’s a gentle, loving boy who just wants to be by your side.  He enjoys the company of other dogs and even shares his food with them—what a polite pup! Max also walks nicely on a leash, making him a great companion for relaxed strolls.  If you’re looking for a kind-hearted dog who just needs a little time to blossom, Max could be your perfect match! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. Rosie is a sweet little Yorkie with a heart full of love and a gentle soul to match. This social butterfly absolutely adores her people and loves making new friends—both human and canine! She does wonderfully with kids, enjoys meeting everyone she can, and is happiest when she’s close to the people she loves most. Whether she’s joining you for a neighborhood stroll, soaking up cuddles on the couch, or simply following you from room to room, Rosie’s devotion shines through in everything she does. Rosie enjoys her daily walks, especially when the weather is cooler. On warmer days, she tends to slow down a bit, which is common for small dogs like Yorkies—especially since Rosie has been diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. A collapsed trachea is a condition often seen in small breeds where the airway becomes narrowed, causing coughing or sensitivity with heat, excitement, or overexertion. With management, like avoiding too much heat and using a harness instead of a collar, many dogs with this condition continue to live happy, loving lives—and Rosie is proof of that. Rosie bonds deeply with her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around often, or with another friendly dog to help keep her company. She isn’t a fan of being left alone for long periods and truly just wants to love and be loved. Sadly, their owner developed serious health issues and passed away, leaving no one able to care for them. Through no fault of their own, these two grieving dogs ended up at a local animal control facility that was forced to euthanize for space. Their story broke hearts across the internet—and ours too. When a foster home opened up, we knew we had to help. Marley and Earl left the shelter together, and together is how they must stay. This bonded pair has already lost the person they loved most. We won't ask them to lose each other too. They are wonderful dogs who love people, get along well with other dogs, and are exceptionally well-trained.
