Her name is Princess and she has been a big part of my life and family m and is truly a sweet, gentle soul. Due to personal reasons and the care demands of another senior dog in my home who is also dealing with health issues, I’m no longer able to give Princess the level of care and attention she deserves. Princess does come with some challenges, and I want to be completely transparent so she can be placed in the right environment: • Bell’s palsy • Separation anxiety • Dental disease that will require ongoing care Despite these challenges, Princess is loving and bonds deeply with her person. She would do best in a calm, stable home with someone who has patience, compassion, and ideally experience with senior or special-needs dogs. A home where someone is around most of the day would be ideal. This decision comes from love, not lack of it. My goal is to ensure Princess is safe, cared for, and surrounded by understanding and kindness for the rest of her life. Please let me know if you can assist with Princess. Meet Lilly! I am an active and energetic girl that will need a YOUNG family to love me for years to come. I am a gentle soul with a heart full of love. I am very sweet and love belly rubs and treats. I weigh 10 lbs and love to go on walks. I do get excited and “talk” to other dogs on walks. Don’t they know this is my neighborhood and they aren’t allowed to walk in it too?! Due to my excitement, my foster mom thinks I’d do best in a home where I’m the only dog and get alllllll the attention. My favorite place to be is on my humans lap, being held and watching tv. Yes, TV! Let’s meet and talk about our favorite shows to watch. I can’t wait to be our couch buddy. My foster mom says I also love to keep her company while she works and I’m the best co- worker and let her work while I snooze, dreaming of my forever family finding me. I am about 3-1/2 years old and I’m told I’m a Yorkie-Maltese mix. Which equates to an adorable little bundle of pure happiness. I am housebroken and crate trained. But I only go in the crate when no one is home or to sleep overnight. If there are any kids in my forever home, I prefer them to be 10 or older. Lilly is available to adopt in the Chicagoland area and is being fostered in a home. Appointments to visit her will be set up for approved adopters only.
