Story
My name is Austin, and I'm a 1-year-old Yorkie terrier. I love playing and getting belly rubs. I'm a high-energy dog who loves to run and play, but I also enjoy cuddling up on the couch with my humans. I get along great with kids, I'm still learning some basic commands, but I'm a fast learner and eager to please. I'm looking for an active home where I can get plenty of exercise and playtime. A fenced yard would be a bonus!" I am healthy and updated on all my shots! I am a happy go lucky dog seeking a forever home where i can show my unconditional love and devotion every day to my new best friend possibly you!

Story
Meet Bentley! Bentley is approximately 7 years, 12.5 lbs, and he likely is a Yorkie. Bentley were recently surrendered due to his previous owner`s health issues, and he`s been adjusting to his new foster home with resilience and heart. He is mostly house-trained but does mark (which can be addressed with belly bands) and he is doing well with leash walking and loves to explore his surroundings. Bentley would do best in a quieter home with teenagers and would do best as an only dog. He hasn’t been around cats, so feline compatibility is unknown. Due to his preference for a more peaceful environment, no apartments, please! A home with a yard would be ideal for his comfort and routine. His foster says, `Bentley is a sweet boy! He`s fairly calm. He likes being a lap dog. He is non-destructive. He likes to run around in the fenced in yard looking around and taking care of his bathroom duties but likes to come back to you every little bit for pets and to be held. He would make a great addition for some lucky family. He can see the TV and barks at animals on it.`He is available for adoption by appointment in Hopkinton, MA. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Meet Loveable Loki! Loki is a 7-year-old yorkie mix who weighs 15 lbs. This super handsome gray and white boy has fur as soft and luxurious as silk. Best of all, Loki's soft fur does not shed, so you can keep wearing your black clothes! Loki was surrendered to Critter Cavalry because his owner could no longer afford to care for him after moving from Florida to Tennessee. Unfortunately, Loki developed allergies and needed daily medication. Since joining Critter Cavalry, he has seen a dermatologist, and it turns out he does have allergies. Thankfully, these are now well-managed with quality food, one pill, and regular grooming. His last grooming appointment showed no signs of allergies at all, and a change of location from Tennessee should also help. You won’t find a more lovable companion than Loki. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and will happily leap into the lap of anyone sitting down. He simply wants to be near you, whether on the couch or in your chair. Make sure there’s always room for him at night, as he’ll snuggle up close before you know it. Loki also adores the company of other small dogs and thrives in a home with multiple pets; he definitely is not a lone ranger! He is housebroken and can be left loose in the house. While he isn’t a fan of car rides, he loves going for walks and happily trots ahead of you down the street. Loki thrives on routine and organization, making him an excellent companion for a middle-aged couple with one or two other dogs. Although he hasn’t been around children, he should do well with kids over 8 who understand how to treat pets properly. Loki is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped. If you would like to be considered for Loki's forever family and request an adoption application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com. Note that an approved application and adoption fee are required.June 7, 2025, 12:30 pm
