Story
Meet Bentley! Looking for double the love? Meet Bartley (6 years, 11 lbs) and his dad Bentley (7 years, 12.5 lbs) – a sweet, Yorkie-mix pair who are ready to find their forever home together. Bartley and Bentley were recently surrendered due to their previous owner`s health issues, and they’ve been adjusting to their new foster home with resilience and heart. They`re both working hard on their house-training and crate training, but are doing well with leash walking and love to explore their surroundings side by side. These boys would do best in a quieter home with teenagers and possibly another calm dog. They haven’t been around cats, so feline compatibility is unknown. Due to their preference for a more peaceful environment, no apartments, please! A home with a yard would be ideal for their comfort and routine.Their foster says, `Bartley is a loving guy. He is a bona fide lap dog. He loves to be close by and has lots of kisses to give. He is non-destructive and likes to be involved in whatever you`re doing. He will make someone a sweet little companion.Bentley is a sweet boy! He`s fairly calm. He likes being a lap dog. He is non-destructive. He likes to run around in the fenced in yard looking around and taking care of his bathroom duties but likes to come back to you every little bit for pets and to be held. He would make a great addition for some lucky family.`They are available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment. Story
Meet Zara! 🐾
This tiny bundle of energy and affection is Zara, equal parts playful pup and snuggly sweetheart. Since arriving in her foster home, she’s quickly won hearts with her silly squeaky toy obsession, gentle play style, and nonstop cuddles. Zora is very active and alert—ready to chase a squirrel in the yard one moment and curl up on your lap the next. She's got a big personality in a little body and greets every new friend (two-legged or four!) with excitement. She barks at dogs from afar, but once she’s close, she’s eager to make a new pal. This velcro pup loves being wherever her people are. Whether it's lounging on the couch during TV time or following you around the house, Zora just wants to be near her humans. She sleeps peacefully in her dog bed at night (as long as it's in the same room) and is learning to feel safe when left alone. Zora is working on crate training and leash manners, but she's already mastered the art of being adorable. She’s house-trained, non-destructive, and loves puzzle toys (especially when topped with cream cheese!). Her ideal home? One filled with love, playtime, and snuggles—maybe even a family that’s around most of the day or enjoys daily walks and lots of lap time. Zora is a truly sweet, affectionate pup who’s ready to bring joy (and squeaky-toy sounds) to her forever home. 💛

Story
Meet Loveable Loki! Loki is a 7-year-old yorkie mix who weighs 15 lbs. This super handsome gray and white boy has fur as soft and luxurious as silk. Best of all, Loki's soft fur does not shed, so you can keep wearing your black clothes! Loki was surrendered to Critter Cavalry because his owner could no longer afford to care for him after moving from Florida to Tennessee. Unfortunately, Loki developed allergies and needed daily medication. Since joining Critter Cavalry, he has seen a dermatologist, and it turns out he does have allergies. Thankfully, these are now well-managed with quality food, one pill, and regular grooming. His last grooming appointment showed no signs of allergies at all, and a change of location from Tennessee should also help. You won’t find a more lovable companion than Loki. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and will happily leap into the lap of anyone sitting down. He simply wants to be near you, whether on the couch or in your chair. Make sure there’s always room for him at night, as he’ll snuggle up close before you know it. Loki also adores the company of other small dogs and thrives in a home with multiple pets; he definitely is not a lone ranger! He is housebroken and can be left loose in the house. While he isn’t a fan of car rides, he loves going for walks and happily trots ahead of you down the street. Loki thrives on routine and organization, making him an excellent companion for a middle-aged couple with one or two other dogs. Although he hasn’t been around children, he should do well with kids over 8 who understand how to treat pets properly. Loki is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and microchipped. If you would like to be considered for Loki's forever family and request an adoption application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com. Note that an approved application and adoption fee are required.June 7, 2025, 12:30 pm

Story
DOB 6-18-2024 Little Betsie lost her home, she was an unwanted gift. Betsie is about 10 pounds, now all up to date on medical. She has been spayed, heartworm negative and received a ProHeart 6 heartworm preventative injection. Betsie has a natural tail and beautiful ears all with gorgeous silver hair. Betsie loves to play, gets along with all, is social and has a lot of energy. Her adoption fee is 750.00 and her transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
