Story
There is nothing more fun than having a charming Rupert in your life.  This Yorkie boy is called Rup for a nick nane and he is also known as the master of the house. This Yorkie is 19 months old and weighs 12 pounds but he is big man on campus. And what a super lover he is while also being the super duper Bossman in the household. He would do best in a home without any other dogs since he has decided to be dog selective. Some of the dogs in his foster home he likes, and some of them he doesn’t.   He is destined to just be the Only Child in his future dog home. He’s been around cats and does fine but is the feline friends decide to run, he enjoys the chase.   So just be aware.  Rupert must claim your lap and he insists on being your co-pilot when you leave in the car.  He is an excellent rider.  When you leave and then come home later he is just so happy to jump and wiggle and always gives you a happy little greeting.  This happy greeting of twirling and dancing and happy smiles will make you leave your worries at the front door. He is fully vetted and microchipped.  If you haven't noticed, he has a beautiful soft coat that sparkles in the sunlight like finely spun silk threads.  If you are interested in our boy  Rupert,  19 months and 12 lbs, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 12, 2026, 9:03 pm

Story
DOB 4-24-2025 Izzie is looking for a Mom! She is a baby that likes to stay close, a 24 hour girl. Izzie is social, loves to play, gets along great with others and wants to be an important part of her future home. She will be between 7 and 8 pounds, has a natural tail and gorgeous ears with a cute little face. She is very smart and focused. She is up to date on all medical, spayed, heartworm negative and has received a ProHeart6 heartworm preventative infection. Her adoption fee is 900.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC they leave every other Friday to deliver their stops on Saturday to the East Coast The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Toby is a fun-loving little Yorkie mix with a playful spirit and plenty of energy! He came to us when his family’s housing situation changed and dogs were no longer permitted. This energetic boy loves to run, play, and show off his lively personality once he feels comfortable.Toby can be nervous when meeting new people, and will need several meet-and-greets to build trust before heading home. He’s looking for a patient, adult-only home where he can take things at his own pace. He prefers not to be touched right away, as that can feel scary for him. With time, understanding, and consistency, Toby will blossom. He may enjoy a canine companion, pending a successful meet. If you’re ready to give this little guy the patience he deserves, Toby could be your perfect match! He wants to make sure his new home will be able to provide him with professional grooming - he came to the shelter extremely matted. In his third pic, you can see how his hair would look grown in. If you are interested in adopting Toby please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-4pm and bring all of your household members. If you are are unavailable during those times please email dogs@worcesterarl.org
