Story
DOB 6-1-2025 Sweet Gavin gets along with everyone and is a very good boy. Gavin will be around 10 to 12 pounds as an adult. He has all of his registration papers, medical records and is micro chipped. He is up to date on all shots and medical for his age. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Reeses is an amazing dog full of life and energy. He's very happy to always be by his owner to play and cuddle. Reeses has a best friend, Tilly (girl, not spayed, 8 years old, Maltese/Shih Poo), and they love to always stay together to play. Reeses would love to always stay with Tilly and together they are self sufficient. Reeses is protective of his family and although he plays with other dogs in the park, he would rather stay with Tilly and tend to gets protective of her and his family. He has lived with a cat before but he prefers to be the only pet along with Tilly in the house. Reeses is 8 years old and he was received as a puppy from other family members who owned his parents. Reeses is playful, loving, adventurous, loves exploring in the back yard, chasing after squirrels, and loves stealing his owner's socks. In the home he tends to be relaxed and sleeping either on his bed, couch, or clothes.

Story
Meet Maggie! This gentle 10-year-old Yorkie is ready to begin her next chapter with a loving family. Despite being mostly blind, Maggie’s joyful spirit shines—she adores leisurely walks where she can take in the fresh air and explore at her own pace. Initially a bit shy, Maggie quickly warms up with patience and gentle encouragement. Once she feels safe, her playful side emerges and she’ll proudly carry her avocado stuffie and happily roll over for belly rubs. Maggie may be able to live with other gentle dogs, and if there are children in the home, they should be older teens. Maggie would thrive in a calm, nurturing home that understands the needs of senior dogs and can offer her the comfort and companionship she deserves. With kindness and consistency, Maggie promises to be a loyal, affectionate friend for her golden years. Maggie does have a heart murmur that may require her to start medication for at some point. If you think Maggie would be a good fit for your home, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If you are not available on those times, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org

Chewbacca is the sweetest little nugget you'll ever meet who is always at your side snuggled up. He's a terrier though, so he can be feisty walking by other dogs on a leash but he's all bark and no bite. He adores his people and would do best in a home with children, another playful small dog and a family who is home often. He does mark inside on occasion but is housetrained most of the time. He is fostered ni Houston TX and will be transported upon adoption His fee is $850. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION IF INTERESTED AT: www.recycleddogsrescue.org/adoption-application
