She’s shy and skittish at first, and it will take patience and understanding to win her trust — but once you do, you’ll see her happy, energetic personality shine. She can be nervous in new environments and does not enjoy long car rides or unfamiliar places. Lilianna thrives on routine and feels safest in a calm, predictable home. We are looking for a home for her in a quiet neighborhood. She would not be a good candidate for apartment, condo or city living. Personality & Traits • Very smart and quick to learn • Playful and social with other dogs • Loves being at home and near her person • Fully potty/house trained • Happy and energetic once comfortable • Independent and a little stubborn — she listens when she’s ready! He’s a sweet, happy boy who is still working on building his confidence, but we’re seeing more of his personality come out every day! Franklin does well with other dogs and actually came to us with another little Yorkie mix named Dudley. The two are buddies, and Franklin has helped Dudley feel much more confident in new situations. While they love each other, they do not need to be adopted together and can absolutely go to separate homes. Franklin is treat motivated and wants to learn and explore. He’ll benefit from a patient family who can continue helping him build confidence and discover how fun the world can be. He would do well with another friendly, confident dog in the home who can give him some extra security and companionship, but he could also be happy as an only dog as long as his family is committed to keeping him well-socialized and helping him continue coming out of his shell. I was found as a stray in New Mexico, and while I’m not sure how I ended up on my own, I’m pretty sure I was meant to end up in someone’s lap. We think I’m a Yorkie/Smooth Fox Terrier mix, and I’m basically the perfect combination of cute, cuddly, and just a little bit scruffy! My head is wonderfully soft and non-shedding, while my back has that adorable wiry terrier coat that sheds a little—so apparently I couldn’t decide which hairstyle I wanted and went with both. I’m very sweet and loving, and one of my favorite things in the whole world is snuggling with my people.
