Story
Meet Lilianna! She is a beautiful 6-year-old, 22 lb Yorkie Terrier with a bright, active mind. She’s shy and skittish at first, and it will take patience and understanding to win her trust — but once you do, you’ll see her happy, energetic personality shine. She can be nervous in new environments and does not enjoy long car rides or unfamiliar places. Lilianna thrives on routine and feels safest in a calm, predictable home. We are looking for a home for her in a quiet neighborhood. She would not be a good candidate for apartment, condo or city living. Personality & Traits • Very smart and quick to learn • Playful and social with other dogs • Loves being at home and near her person • Fully potty/house trained • Happy and energetic once comfortable • Independent and a little stubborn — she listens when she’s ready! Lilianna would truly love to have another confident dog in the home. She enjoys canine companionship and gains comfort from having a furry friend around. Important Safety Notes Lilianna is a high flight risk. She does not reliably come when called and is very quick. She can dart out an open door and has the potential to be an escape artist. Because of this, she will require: • A secure home environment in a quiet suburban neighborhood outside of the city • A standalone home, no apartments or condos • Extra caution with doors and gates • A patient adopter committed to her safety • A home within 10 miles of Edmonds, WA Ideal Home Lilianna is looking for: • An adult-only home (no children or visiting grandchildren) • A calm, predictable environment • Someone who is home much of the time • Preferably another friendly dog She needs a patient adopter who understands shy dogs and is willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe and secure. With patience, consistency, and a secure home, Lilianna will reward you with loyalty, personality, and devotion. Lilianna is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Tiramisu! Tiramisu is a 2-year-old, 13 lb Terrier/Yorkie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This adorable little guy may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but it doesn’t take long to discover what a sweetheart he is! Once Tiramisu trusts you, he becomes a total cuddle bug. He loves being close to his people and is happiest when he’s curled up in your lap, snuggled next to you on the couch, or following you around the house. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow, Tiramisu is ready to apply for the job. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion in the home to keep him company and share in daily adventures. That said, Tiramisu’s favorite thing in the world is his people, so he could also thrive as an only dog as long as he continues to get plenty of socialization. Like many little dogs, Tiramisu can be a bit bossy from time to time, but it’s all part of his charming personality. Overall, he’s a loving, affectionate boy who just wants to be included in his family’s daily life. Tiramisu is looking for a home where he can continue building confidence, enjoy plenty of snuggles, and finally settle into the loving forever family he deserves. If you’re searching for a sweet, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Tiramisu might just be your perfect match! Tiramisu is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Nico is 1 1/2 years old and is extremely playful and affectionate. Would prefer a home with no children under 10. Nico loves to play and is very inquisitive. He will take your things and hide them just for fun. He’s been going to the groomer since he was a puppy so he’s used to that. Gets a little nervous on car rides but he doesn’t get sick. Pretty much loves everyone but he will pick his special person. If you’re familiar with the breed that’s a definite plus. Has been on a raw diet and has done well. NOT a picky eater. This guy loves food. Because of my apprehension with vaccines and surgery he is not vaccinated other than what was given by his breeder.

Story
Disco King came into his foster home a shy, nervous little pup, and has since decided that actually, he's kind of a big deal. The Disco King, if you will. At a MASSIVE…2.5 pounds, he’s the smaller of the two brothers, which has not affected his confidence in the slightest. He runs around the house with his lamb chop stuffie in his mouth like he owns the place. It’s important we point out that there are two other identical lamb chops available; he is not interested in them. This one is his. He loves kids, is doing well with the basics, and is fine in a home with or without another dog. He appreciates his space for napping, but is happy to snuggle up with a human anytime. The King is still working on bladder control (which makes sense because he’s just a baby), but h’s making progress every day. He's also not a fan of having his paws wiped…yet (another work in progress). Bonus? He makes sounds his foster describes as guinea pig-like (do yourself a favor and look that up if you’ve never heard them!), which they describe as extremely endearing. (...duh). Disco King is a lot of personality in a very small package, and whoever gets him is going to have a lot of fun finding all of it. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
