You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gucci! &#226&#152&#128&#239&#184&#143 Gucci may be tiny at just 5.5 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you—he’s got the heart of a lion! This little Yorkie was found braving the recent San Antonio snowstorm alongside his two best friends, Channel and Coco. Even in the freezing cold, Gucci took on the role of their protector, always keeping a watchful eye on his girls. A kind-hearted good Samaritan rescued the trio, but after searching for their owners with no luck, they were brought to the rescue for a fresh start. Gucci is a ray of sunshine to everyone he meets. He’s incredibly friendly, always eager to say hello, and his wild, scruffy hair makes him look like he just stuck his paw in a light socket—and he totally rocks the look! He’s playful, loving, and happiest when he’s surrounded by friends, both human and furry. Now, this little guardian is looking for a forever home where he can be adored just as much as he adores those around him. If you’re ready for a tiny pup with a big personality, Gucci is your guy! Story
Meet Lilianna! She is a 4-year-old, 22 lb, Yorkie Terrier mix who was found as a stray in CA and is currently in a foster home. She is shy and skittish, and it will take some time to win her heart. She can be nervous and does not enjoy long car rides or new places. She is potty trained/house trained. She is a happy dog with lots of energy. She is very smart and playful with other dogs. She would love to have another dog in the home. She could possibly be an only dog but she would need a home where someone is home most of the time. She is extremely smart but has a sense of independence. She's stubborn and will listen when she's ready. She is a high flight risk since she won't come on command. She is quick and will dart out an open door and can be an escape artist. Due to her tendency to run, we are looking for a home for her within a 10-mile radius of the Edmonds area. We are looking for an adult only home for her with no children or grandchildren. She is spayed and microchipped. She's up to date on vaccination, and her fee is $550.

Story
Animal Profile: Bella was found running in traffic in Turlock, but luckily wound up at animal services instead of meeting an untimely demise. She’s dog friendly, and social with people but has little experience on leash. She’s estimated to be 5 years old and weighs 15lbs. She’s exudes that scruffy, sassy terrier charm. Foster Update: With her scruffy fur, short legs, and round body, and endearing underbite, Bella looks like an adorable Terrier + Corgi + Pekinese mix. Bella is a typical terrier type; she’s opinionated and needs someone to let her know it’s not her job to police things. She can be tentative when first meeting new people, but does warm up quickly after proper intros. She needs someone that can advcocate for her space and help others understand that she doesn't necessarily want to be friends with strangers. Bella has made great strides on her leash manners in foster care, this girl is even treadmill trained! She can be reactive if she is allowed to lead the walk. Bella is social with other dogs, but doesn’t appreciate new dogs right up in her face. She’s comfortable providing firm, but fair corrections if a dog steps over the line. She is not a dog that would enjoy the dog park. Bella is currently living with another dog and exists peacefully with him. She would be ok with or without a respectful canine companion in her forever home. Bella is house trained, crate trained, and looking for a home with dog experience. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued from Turlock Animal Services. Arriving  to Seattle area foster care on 08/25/2024. He will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.January 27, 2025, 9:20 pm

Story
Meet Lenny: A Lovable Cuddle Bug Looking for His Perfect Match! Lenny is a 10-pound, 4-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a heart full of love and a deep appreciation for snuggles. This sweet boy came from Eastern Washington in rough shape, but with some much-needed care—including a dental and a fresh groom—he’s now ready to find his forever home! Lenny’s favorite pastime? Cuddling! He adores curling up with his people and soaking up all the affection he can get. He also enjoys going for walks and even short runs, making him a great little companion for someone who likes to stay active. Lenny has been around both cats and dogs and has done well, but he may prefer being the only pup in the home so he can have all the love and attention to himself. He can be wary of strangers and takes a little time to warm up, so he’d do best in a calm home without young children where he won’t feel overwhelmed. Lenny is also working through some separation anxiety and would thrive with someone who is home most of the day or can take him along on outings. He’s still getting the hang of potty training but is making steady progress with patience and consistency. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who just wants to be by your side, Lenny might be your perfect match! Apply to meet him today and give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves. Lenny is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $395 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Dante! This fuzzy gremlin is a whole bunch of love and sweetness in a 7 pound package. He’s very soft, and leans into his people for hugs and gentle kisses. He is initially timid with new people but gets over that in just a few minutes. He started out more cautious with men, but was won over in less than a day and now races happily to greet the big guy in his foster home. He is incredibly gentle and sweet with kids, and once he feels comfortable in his home (about 20 minutes after arriving) he doesn’t play favorites - he wil happily run to every one of his family members and give them lots of wiggly affection and cuddles. Dante is an absolute snuggler, and LOVES people and other dogs. He is aware of cats but doesn’t bother them. He is playful and silly, and does great in his crate. He will gladly curl up on a bed next to his humans, and also likes finding a favorite blanket to hog on his own. He’s very fast, and an impressive jumper, and I suspect he would have a blast with agility training.  Potty training is coming along. He hasn’t been neutered yet and does mark occasionally so we use a belly band to prevent that in the home and he has been doing great with that. He loves running around outdoors and would love to be an adventure buddy to his future human(s).  Dante will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
