Puppy Perfection - Meet the Marvelous Daisy! 🌸🐕 Hello Colorado dog lovers! Allow me to introduce the extraordinary Daisy. This Great Pyrenees mix is just 6 months young, weighing in at 40+ lbs of pure puppy joy with plenty more growing to do! Daisy is the total package - beautiful, brilliant, and brimming with energy and eagerness to learn. She's a serious treat motivation training rockstar who already knows sit, down, no, and her name. This smart cookie is doggie door trained and will politely alert you when she needs to go out. Daisy's quest for knowledge continues as she's picking up leash manners like a pro! But don't let her impressive obedience skills fool you - Daisy's favorite pastime is entertaining herself by launching toys in the air or engaging in a most elite fly chasing circuit. When she's not supervising the yard for avian infractions, you'll find this velvety bundle of snuggles glued to your side, angling for tummy rubs and ear scratches. While Daisy's heart is stuffed with more love than a teddy bear, she hasn't quite mastered the "fetch" game just yet. But no worries - she'll make up for it by being your most loyal hiking buddy, jog bestie, or backyard ball-launching champion! Daisy can't wait to meet her new active, adventurous crew to call her own. She's ready to smoosh face-first into your life, lavishing you with cuddles and kisses as your ultimate outdoor romping, park exploring, Frisbee retrieving (eh, maybe one day) companion. All Daisy needs is a fenced yard, some dog pals to tumble with, and your smitten family to dote on her! If Daisy sounds like your type of girl please apply at https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/

Story
Miss Jalapeno is just the most loving little pup. She is just as happy giving cuddles as she is playing with the young child and other dogs in her foster home. This sweet girl had a rougher start as she was hit by a car and sustained injuries to her hind end. Soon after arriving, the rescue had x rays done and they are currently waiting for a specialist to review. Don't let this info deter you though, she is able to live a wonderful and active life and is one of the happiest girls you could meet. Her favorite things include snuggles, treats, playing with her foster family and swiping stuffed animals from the 5 year old girl in the home. Because we will be monitoring her injuries for a while, a foster to adopt situation would be ideal in this girls case. Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com ##1675180##

Story
Sid is a 10 month old pyrenees mix, neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is such a sweetheart and easy going dog, he loves to be outside and likes to dig, so his dream home would have a sandbox(or someone to keep him distracted.) He loves affection and is good at occupying himself. He needs some work on leash but is food motivated so with some treats he will hopefully learn some manners in time. Story
Shep is good with cats and dogs. Really like to play and is more comfortable with another dog close by. He is smart and picking up verbal cues quickly. He does well with a routine and is a bit sensitive to corrections. He will thrive on positive reinforcement and loves food of any kind. He sleeps well throughout the night as along as he is with another dog. He does like to snuggle with people but really likes to cuddle with his doggie friends. He is doing well with potty training but will sometimes get caught up in playing to long and…

Shelter visiting hours are 12 pm to 4 pm - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2013749##

Story
My name is Josie. I am a 75#, spayed, 2 yr old female Pyrenees. I’m so excited to find my perfect forever family! I came into the shelter in TX when my owners moved into an apartment and couldn’t take me with them. I was lucky to make it out and land a foster family here in CO! My foster parents call me “cuddle bug” &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  My favorite activities include going for walks to sniff all the things, roaming the back yard, and snuggling with my family! My foster mom is helping me to learn I can snuggle but still respect personal space of everyone. I just get so excited! I enjoy hanging out with my other foster siblings.  I like both the cats (although one doesn’t like me so I avoid her). The other dogs are super tiny next to me (chihuahuas) but I’m gentle and like lying with them and eating treats! And I like my Pyr foster brother. I am still true to my Pyrenees traits of being stubborn, independent, and I take careful watch over all my home! I am housebroken and UTD on vaccines. I require a 6’ wooden enclosed fence. I’m still getting used to walking on wood floors vs carpet but I’m getting much better! I have not been tested with kids but an older respectful child should be ok. If you are interested in meeting me, the first step is to complete the meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. My adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt out of Colorado.April 29, 2024, 11:29 am

Story
There is no puppy sweeter than Sally. This girl exudes love and affection and wants to be constantly cuddled! Or playing; playing is great too, according to Sally! She enjoys various toys, romping and exploring, and socializing with other dogs of all sizes. Having this girl around is endlessly entertaining! You won’t be able to stop yourself from smiling at her derpy tongue sticking out, her speckled belly, or her habit of building a toy mountain to play with and sleep in.    Sally gets along wonderfully with the cats in her foster home. That said, because of her size (25 lbs and quickly growing) and youthful exuberance, Sally is not an appropriate pup for a family with young children.    Sally is a gangly girl; right now she’s all awkward, adorably floppy, long limbs, not unlike a baby deer. She is quite active, and will probably be that way throughout her life. Though we can’t be sure, Sally looks to be a mix of Pyrenees and Australian Shepard, which would explain her loyal and intelligent personality as well as her larger size. These breeds require outlets for their energy and smarts, so consider that before adopting a dog with such heritage. However, Sally is highly trainable. Her potty habits are perfect when given ample yard time, and she sleeps through the night in her crate. She loves to please her people, so training possibilities are endless.    If you’re looking for a loving, active canine companion, beautiful Sally may just be your girl!    If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $350 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2015146##

Story
Gentle Giant Dakota Seeks His Adventuring Crew! 🐾⛰ Hello there, fellow outdoor enthusiasts and dog lovers! Allow me to introduce you to the one and only Dakota. This stunning Anatolian Shepherd puppy may be tipping the scales at a stout 80 lbs already, but he's all sweet squishiness and lovable loyalty wrapped in an adorable furry package. At just 9-10 months old, Dakota is still very much a playful pup at heart. He lives to wrestle with his four-legged pals and keep his human companions active and on their toes with endless games of fetch (or rather, you fetch!). But once he's had his fill of romping for the day, this gentle giant turns into a world-class snuggle bug, content to cuddle up with his people in the evening. Despite his imposing size, Dakota has a heart of gold. He loves kiddos and kitties alike, though he hasn't quite figured out how to be best buds with the feline friends just yet. This good-natured goofball is already a well-mannered house guest, coming crate-trained, leash-trained, and housetrained. The world is still so new and exciting for him, and he can't wait to explore it with his forever family! Out on walks, Dakota's favorite pastime is greeting new people and pups with that signature Anatolian charm. He's not a big barker unless offering mild-mannered warning that danger is actually nowhere to be found. This lovable genius just wants to keep his crew safe from threats like plastic bags being carried to and from the recycle bin. Dakota bushwhacks through life with a childlike enthusiasm and insatiable appetite for adventure. He'd thrive with an active family or pair of roommates living that outdoor-centric lifestyle he craves. A house with a yard for him to sprawl out and soak up the sun between hikes, runs, or retrieving sessions is an absolute must. While Dakota adores humans of all ages, his boisterous size may be a tad overwhelming for big city living. If you've been searching for that larger-than-life companion to roam the trails, stomp through creeks, and embrace the simple joys of just existing in nature alongside, branching out with Dakota will be your greatest adventure yet. This goofy pup can't wait to rendezvous at the trailhead with you! If Dakota is your type of pup please apply at https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/
