Story
Sassy was surrendered because she was no longer wanted. She is a very sweet dog who can have very high energy. She walks well on a leash. She is not house trained, but is said to do well in a crate. It is unknown how she is with dogs, cats, or livestock. She is supposed to be good with children. She loves receiving belly rubs and tends to flop down on her back dramatically to get them. She has received all her vaccinations, microchip, a spay, and de-wormer. She is heart worm negative and on prevention. ECHS does not reserve adoptable animals for the public. Adoptions are first come first serve the day of availability. Please note that availability is subject to change at any point in time per ECHS discretion

Story
Charlie is a sweet Akbash/Pyr mix, who is protective of his person. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, and may do well with a larger female dog. Charley very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. He loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. Charlie is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Abigail was given to us from our friends to help raise our sheep. We got her when she was 8 months along with her sister. We were told she was with 6 other dogs on a ranch and learned her hierarchy but still showed aggression towards her sister. Sister is very submisisve. Abigail loves to play with her sister and run the prioerrt. She was also great with our sheep for the past year. She herds them and grooms them. However, when she is in a bad mood or it would rain she attacked her sister and our ram on separate occasions. She would also keep them out of the shelter and growl. She has never shown aggression towards ourselves or young children. She wags her tail when name is called but does not come when called. She would thrive in a home without other pets! We joke and say she is a great dog she just doesn't like her role we need her for. We would absolutely keep her but we have 4 other dogs and she would be better in a home she could be the main star of the show.

Yeti is an approximate 3-4 yo Great Pyrenees who came to us after being hit by a car. His badly broken leg was repaired and he is ready for his new home! He is good in a house, dog door trained, vaccinated, leash trained, neutered and microchipped. He is good with most dogs but will not do good with a very dominant male dog. He loves his humans and gives the Pyrenees lean. He does require a SECURE fenced yard for his safety. He is adoptable within 3 hours of Granbury, Tx. Adoption fee is $200.
