Story
Hello, I have a 7-month-old female Akita who currently weighs about 43 pounds that I am trying to rehome. Her birthday is on 10/30/2022. She is super sweet and energetic and she is great with people and children. She has completed training lessons (level 1&2) she pretty much knows the basics from sit, up, down, come here, and leave it. She is potty trained, however, if she moves to a new home it will take her time to adjust. She gets along really well with my sister's dog, who has a 3-year-old Australian Sheppard whom Leia has known since she was a pup, however, just recently she has not gotten along well with other new dogs (depending on her mood). She growls and barks at other dogs but has to this day NEVER bitten any dog or puppy (she's just very protective). She has seen cats from afar and is curious but has not encountered them up close. Unfortunately, I can’t keep her since I am moving to another state where they don’t allow dogs in the apartment complex.

Story
Petey is a fun-loving boy who is great with every person he has met, young and old. He might be okay around other dogs, but he's selective. He walks well on leash, until he sees a rabbit, squirrel or cat, but he would easily adjust to a no-pull harness. He loves to get belly rubs!

Story
Simba is a loyal dog with lots of energy. He is a young 4 years old. I am working to separate him from Nitti, his dog friend. (They are listed as a bonded pair.) He is half golden retriever and half Chow Chow. He is cheerful and composed. Simba will thrive with a large land area to roam if possible. He is used to running independently off leash and prefers it. Simba is large (~67 pounds). He is quiet and if her hears something near the house, he may bark once. I hear him bark maybe twice a week, if that. When I walk him, many dogs bark at him and he doesn't seem to care and doesn't bark back. He doesn't really like being in the house much and he enjoys his walks and exploring outside. He is composed and stoic. He was a little stubborn at first but he warmed up quickly. We are unable to give Simba the attention he deserves as we are recent parents and inherited the dog from a deceased relative. We hope you can open your home and heart to him!

These pups are in El Cajon, California too!

We received our puppy (she’s 10 months) from the shelter with the best intentions. Unfortunately, due to landlord issues, we are unable to keep her. She is so lovable and kind and we really wish she could stay .
