Looking for a Loving Home for Reina 🐾 Meet Reina — a beautiful, all-white Akita with a heart of gold. She’s about 9 years old and has been an incredible companion to our family. Reina is extremely well-behaved, intelligent, and affectionate. She’s wonderful with kids and gets along great with other dogs — truly a gentle soul. Reina is a medium-to-large dog who enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s a walk, a bit of sunshine, or just being near her humans. She would make a perfect addition to a loving home that can give her the time and attention she deserves. We’re heartbroken to rehome her, but due to our current living situations, it’s just not fair to her. I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs, and while my dad has a house, his schedule only allows for brief time with her in the morning and evening. She deserves more — a home where she’s not alone most of the day. We’d love to find Reina's home where she can thrive and be loved as much as she loves in return

If you answered yes to both of these questions, Chee Yoo could be the perfect dog for you. Chee Yoo is a beautiful, 5 yo medium/large female dog that came to Jelly's Place from South Korea in July 2021. Why has such a wonderful dog not been adopted yet? Read further to find out. Chee Yoo is very timid and nervous around people. She LOVES other dogs, and has become best friends with another Jelly's dog named Pepe. Pepe has a very similar personality to Chee Yoo and the two of them are like 2 peas in a pod. Chee Yoo can guard her food which is not surprising given where she came from. So, care needs to be taken with another dog when food, especially high value foods, are around. During her time at Jelly's Place, Chee Yoo has gone from hiding in the corner to taking daily walks on a leash. She is becoming more comfortable and confident, but still has a long way to go. She has learned to trust her primary caregiver, but is still not comfortable interacting with other people. Chee Yoo would do best in a calm, quiet home with dog experience and older or no children. Chee Yoo is NOT a dog for first time adopters. She needs adopters who are willing to be patient and to give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable, confident and loved. Another dog in the home is essential. and we prefer to keep Chee Yoo with her buddy Pepe. Meet Ombre, an 11-month-old Akita who radiates an easygoing and sweet demeanor that captivates everyone she meets! Despite her young age, Ombre displays a maturity beyond her years, approaching life with a calm and gentle disposition. Ombre came to our shelter as a stray about 6 weeks ago. She was found with her sidekick companion, Margarita, a sweet, timid, 11-pound, 3-year old Chihuahua. Ombre is an exuberant, playful and very loving dog. She is very gentle with Margarita, so they are housed together and often hang out in the yards together. While Ombre thoroughly enjoys playing and interacting with others; she would thrive equally well in a home with or without another dog, thanks to her independent nature and friendly demeanor. Ombre's love for playtime is infectious, and her charming personality makes her a wonderful addition to any loving household ready to provide her with the care and companionship she deserves. Ombre has a beautiful coat, weighs about 40 pounds, seems quite potty trained and also very quiet in her kennel that she shares with little Margarita. Ombre is good with every dog and every person she has ever met; loves to play with soft toys and most of all, has discovered the joy of a kiddie pool in the heat! At the shelter, we often let them play together, but also separate them out. I have been taking Margarita home to play with my littles so she can build her confidence and come into her own. She is a delightful little girl (whose cherry eye will be fixed when she is spayed soon). Both Ombre and Margarita are vaccinated and will be chipped and spayed We would love to get sweet Ombre and Margarita out of the shelter so they can continue to grow and thrive in a home. She got out of my yard and attacked a neighbor dog. They called animal control and shes now on a potentially dangerous animal list in Sonoma county for 3 years. If she gets out of my yard again they’ll put her down. Nala is the sweetest most loving, intelligent dog I’ve ever known. Everyone she meets falls in love with her. She plays hard with some dogs and doesn’t get along with others . She tolerates my cats, sometimes plays with them, sometimes licks them. Thank you
