My name is Willa and I love to play and just be around people and other dogs. I was brought to the shelter when the people decided they had too many dogs and got rid of some of us. I am a pretty Akita mix but I don`t have that reserved personality that some Akita`s have, it must be my mix of wonderful, friendly dog that makes me so special. If you have another dog for me to play with that would be great or if you just want to spend time with me and take me on walks and lots of play time that would be great too. You really need to meet me to see how unique I am, I think I am quite the beauty. Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.
