Story
Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.

Story
Meet the energetic Rocket III. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a soon-to-be 2-year-old, 45-pound Akita Shepherd mix, with soft, chocolate-and-white fur and a heart-melting demeanor. Rocket was adopted from a local shelter when he was just 3 months old, and he's been living his best life ever since! Rocket is a playful, very high-energy pup who loves to zoom around the yard or an open area. He also loves to chase after squirrels which he feels is a challenge since they are faster than him. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Rocket loves playtime and is always ready for a good walk or run, but he also knows how to relax. When heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not playing, Rocket likes to stretch out on the floor or curl up on the sofa. An ideal home for Rocket would be one with a big yard to run around in, or an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures. Rocket is crate and leash trained, and heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s currently working on learning â&#194&#128&#194&#156stayâ&#194&#128&#194&#157. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a quick learner, especially when there are treats involved! Rocket absolutely loves car rides, and a trip to the dog park is his idea of the perfect day. This lovable pup is deserving of the perfect furever home. Story
Archie has been with SafeHart for too long. He was a favorite at Dallas Animal Services and that is why when his time came up to be put down, the volunteers searched high and low for a rescue to tag and save him. We really thought that he would be adopted pretty quickly but that has not proven to be the case. And we are scratching our heads and wondering why. He LOVES People and is a happy-go-lucky personable boy as long as you are handing out belly rubs. When spending time with you, he will shower you with kisses and he will reduce your stress 10x fold as he always wants you to play ball or hang out with him. He can be both a couch potato and or a hiking partner. The Ranch Team knows that if you win his heart, you will receive a lifetime of his love. The downside, he needs to be any only child so that he gets all of your attention. He has awesome potential, and we know in our hearts that he will make a family very happy. Older Children Preferred with Archie. Story
Roscoe is a sweet guy and he is one of the favorites here at the ranch. He loves everyone that he meets. He plays well with other female dogs. He loves to chase after sticks and tennis balls in the yard. One of his favorite toys is a snuffle mat where he can search for all of his treats that are hidden in there. Roscoe does enjoy going out for walks and seeing new places but will also cuddle up with you on the couch to watch your favorite show. He does very well with grooming and trimming his nails. He loves when he gets brushed but will try to play with the hair that comes off of him. Roscoe walks well on a leash and is currently learning all the basic commands. Alice is an old soul. She is a very calm and gentle soul. Alice would be a girl who would do best in a calm environment. Although she will go on walks with you and play outside some, she would still prefer to just be relaxing with you. She loves to have her stuffed animals to hold and cuddle with and appreciates a good bone to chew on as well. Alice is very loyal and will do anything to please you. She knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. Interested in adoption: https://www.form.jotform.com/222314529153147

Story
Rocky is very sweet and requires a lot of love. He loves belly rubs. He has not been professionally trained and but he is very smart and listens when treats are involved. He needs a patient owner who has time to play. He loves tug of war and fetching. Please only loving people apply as you need lots of patience to own this Husky Shepherd Labrador Mix. I am looking for a loving family who has time to care for Rocky. This is the hardest thing I have ever done.
