Story
We have had Fenris since he was 10 weeks old. He was socialized with people and other animals from a very young age. Our son and the neighborhood children are always playing with him. He has shown no aggression towards people. We will hold large parties at our house and he does well with guests. Sometimes he will be a little weary towards certain strangers but he can easily be bought with a treat. He is not a high energy dog and prefers to lay next to you on the couch. I feel like he is the perfect dog with one exception. Over the past year he has been attacking our other pets. He has bitten all 3 of our other pets. We have tried dog trainers and rearranging out entire house. It keeps escalating and it is not fair to our other pets. It breaks our heart to have to do this but we don't want to wait until he kills one of our other pets. Please do not have other pets in the home if you are thinking about adopting Fenris.

Hey there, it's me Honey! 🐺 I'm a sassy husky with a brain that's off the charts (modest, right?). I've got my own thing going on, so you'll need to be a strong pack leader or I'll be running the show (just saying). When I'm not being a goofball, I love to nose-boop you and play the most epic game of keep-away with my doggo friends. Oh, and squeakers? Forget about it, I'll run a marathon for one! 🏃‍♀️ My humans are my jam, and I'm obsessed with beef liver treats (drooling just thinking about it) and butt scratches (don't judge me). Just FYI, fish is a no-go for me, and loud noises freak me out (kids might be a bit much, but let's meet and see). I take a hot second to warm up, but once I do, I'm a total lovergirl. 🐾 Oh, and did I mention I'm faster than fast? Like, I can sniff out treats in 2 seconds flat (it's a talent, really). Miss Jamie here is a work in progress. She came to us after a wonderful human brought her to our attention out in Toutle, WA. She had been running at large with 2 other huskies, one which was caught several weeks before, and the third hasn't been seen in weeks. We sent a trap up to the property owner and she trapped that night. She has been here ever since. Jamie loves cheese and loves cheese. Did I mention how much she loves cheese?!🤣 Will bark at you for cheese. 🤣 She is so gentle taking treats! But her being so treat motivated has helped us to gain her trust. She is quite vocal. Solid with other dogs and loves to play with other dogs! She loves balls and can entertain herself with balls but she is definitely more confident when another dog is around. She'll need another dog in a home to help her learn how to dog and be more comfortable around humans. Our Volunteers say, "She follows me around more often now in the big park, will lick my hand. But she's still pretty wary of human touch. I love when she gets vocal as she sounds sassy, and I feel like I can have a conversation with her!🤣 She still needs a lot of work to trust humans but I have hope for her. I love her beautiful, blue eyes." She is stunningly beautiful, gentle, and did we say she loves other dogs! She is still wary of humans. She is highly trainable and is responding well to positive reinforcement training. She LOVES playing in water. She will require a home with a 6' fenced yard. She will require a drag line after adoption for a while, even with a fenced yard. She does like to play keep away on occasion. But if she likes you, she comes when she is called. She will be a wonderful addition to a family with another dog.
