She especially gets along best with male dogs. We sent her to CRT K9 to undergo training and she is ready for adoption! They've tested her for search/rescue work, as well as climbing work, jump work, and running. She passes every qualification test with flying colors! She thrives in everything. After picking up Harvey from the shelter, he has proven to have some of the best qualities of a true American Bulldog. He is people friendly, confident but not dominant, strong, energetic, ready to please, and he loves car rides. He has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines. He is crate trained. He is house broken. He loves to go on walks or have plenty of fenced yard to play. He is already a great leash walker! American Bulldogs dogs are known to get into mischief in the house without exercise. When he’s ready to relax, he will sit right next to you and enjoy being close to his human. He responds well to “sit,” “come,” and “give paw.” Harvey would probably be best with an active person or family or a family with older children (12 or older) due to his size. He needs to be the only pet in the house. Harvey suffered significant left-side facial trauma due to dog bites before he was rescued. There is no long term damage, but the repair has given him a unique look! Harvey might be the most well behaved bulldog we have rescued. If you’re looking for a new companion, consider Harvey!

Luna is housebroken, knows basic commands like “sit” and “shake” (paw), and enjoys her daily walks, sunbathing sessions, and chewing on her favorite toys. While she’s a loving companion, Luna does need to be the only pet in the household and would thrive in a home with no children under 12. She’s up to date on all her vaccinations and in excellent health.
