At just 2 years old, this sweet American Bulldog mix was abandoned at the shelter while suffering from a painful vaginal prolapse and in the early stages of labor. She had to endure the unimaginable—delivering her puppies in those conditions. One tiny life was lost at birth, and another on the way to the emergency vet, but through it all, Dolly ’s strength and love never wavered. Rescuers rushed to save Dolly and her litter, and despite everything, she proved to be an incredible mother. Thanks to her care, her puppies grew strong and are now thriving in their forever homes. Now, it’s Dolly ’s turn to find hers. Dolly has undergone surgery to prevent future litters and to repair her prolapse, and has had surgery to correct entropion in both eyes—making her world much more clear. Meet Leona – The “Baby Mountain Lion” With a Big Heart Leona, affectionately nicknamed the “Baby Mountain Lion,” made headlines after being found dumped in a canal, where a bird-watching couple initially thought she was a wild mountain lion. Thankfully, a wildlife rescue team stepped in, and after time at a shelter, she found her way to our rescue. Leona is estimated to be between 6 months and 1 year old and is an absolute delight. This sweet bully girl weighs just 19 pounds and is a small bundle of playful affection. She adores attention and loves to rub up against her people to show her love. Leona has a grade 3 heart murmur that does not require medication. She has been fully vetted and has had nares surgery and an echocardiogram. Because she cannot manage a lot of stairs, Leona will need a single-story home. Other than that, she’s an easygoing, happy girl who gets along wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats. Leona is truly special and will bring endless joy, love, and laughter to the lucky family who welcomes her home.

Coco is an am bully/bulldog mix that is so sweet we had to put an XO behind her name! Not only sweet, Coco XO is playful, snuggly and full of joy. This absolutely gorgeous short stack is 2 years old and weighs 52lbs. If you could order her at Starbuck's, she'd be the Caramel Brulée Frappuccino with an extra shot of espresso! She's up for anything, anytime making her excellent ride or die sidekick material. Her favorite things are toys, playing fetch and snuggling with a person. She had 4 puppies in her previous life and was a great mom to them. She was separated from them when they entered the shelter, which was hard for her. Coco is good with dogs she knows, but in the shelter, was quite sassy to those she didn't. Because of this, for the time being she's looking to be in an only dog household. This may change as we get to know her more; since leaving the shelter, she is behaving very nicely and has been non-reactive to other dogs. Coco XO is being fostered in NE Minneapolis, MN.
