Story
Being an urgent medical case and the shelter already overcrowded, Blue was on the euthansia list and he only had until 5pm that day. Seeing his adorable, almost pleading face, we knew we had to act and act fast. We immediately sent an email to the shelter with the subject line being DNPTS. This stands for Do Not Put To Sleep. It is the urgent message to the shelter to go put eyes on that dog and make sure they do not get euthanized because they have RESCUE. Blue was taken to CARE and underwent surgery to fix his condition which was a urinary stricture. He did great but did have a long recovery ahead of him. He was a great little guy through it all and just as sweet as he can be despite everything he'd been through. Blue is a 1 1/2 year old American Bully. In true form, he's got the big noggin, slight underbite and prick ears and is a lean and muscular, little low rider machine. He is absolutely precious and has the funniest personality. He is playful but he also won't miss an opportunity to bake himself in the sun...another bully thing! Blue is VERY into his people and will pick a favorite who he will laser lock in on. Not in a bad way, no resource guarding, but a one person kind of dog. He'd be a great family dog with older kids but with the understanding that he will have HIS person. And can we say snug bug! When volunteers come to walk him he gives them little licks as they unlock his kennel. He`s very strong but he walks well with a front clipped harness. Recently Zeus had about ten days in two foster homes. His first foster mom described him as `considerate` for how gently he takes treats. He was great with her two elementary age kids. He wasn`t dog reactive on walks or behind the fence in his back yard. He met two dogs in short intros and seemed eager to play. In the second foster home, Zeus went for long walks and got crate trained. In his forever home he would need some time to decompress separately from other dogs before meeting and playing with them.- Crate and house trained - Good with all people and kids - Knows Sit, loves treats and takes them so gently - Cutest little hops while running - Big head, even bigger heart!- Excited to meet other dogs; gradual and proper intros recommended - Sweet and happy boy - Playful, fun and athletic - Affectionate cuddle bug - Very strong; walks best with a harness clipped in front

We love Koby with all our hearts, but unfortunately our lifestyle and schedule no longer allow us to give him the time and attention he needs and deserves. My name is Miss Debbie. I rescued Marley from a family member who is now homeless. I, however, am not physically/financially able to sustain Marley as well. I'm trying to find him a new forever Home. Marley is 8 years old boxer/golden retriever mix. He doesn't have floppy lips so he doesn't drool. Marley grew up in the household with only one owner. I feel he would benefit from having a new family with big fur/human brothers and sisters to play with. Bc he loves lots of hugs and kisses. He is a house dog and is house broken. But has not been neutered. He doesn't chew or destroy the furniture. He is calm inside the house. He likes to sit at your feet while watching TV and sleep at the foot of the bed. He is very polite and often tries to communicate with you. He does enjoy long walks and loves car rides. fireworks scare him. I don't have the money to purchase Marley a bed or a proper walking harness. And am seeking help from the Charlotte humane society to get him neutered.
