He’s also a HUGE snuggler! Tank is very loving and will attach to his person and love you unconditionally with zero push back. The official Velcro dog. He is kid, dog and cat friendly! Tank would do best in a home with a family/person who is home a lot. Can you give this boy his forever home!? Adoption fee covers all up to date vaccines, neuter and microchip.

Story
Meet Marge! Marge is a 5-year-old, 53 lb Beagle/Bulldog mix. Are you ready to open your heart to a loving canine companion? Look no further, because Marge is here! Marge has had quite a journey, being a brave survivor of a puppy mill. Despite her challenging past, she has shown incredible strength and resilience, making her an inspiring pup with so much love to give. Marge is an incredibly sweet and gentle soul. She doesn't know a person she doesn't already love! She adores cuddles, belly rubs, and gentle playtime. Marge gets along well with other dogs and loves to play and wrestle with all her foster siblings. She would also be a wonderful addition to a home with older, considerate children who can understand her background and provide her with the patience she needs. She will require a physically fenced in yard. She's not a high-energy pup, but she does have a mischievous streak and will find weaknesses in any fence. She really really really loves staying in the backyard soaking up all the sun she can, and enjoys leisurely walks on leash (Marge has great leash manners)! Are you ready to be the hero in Marge's happily-ever-after story? Adopt Marge today, and together, you can write a new chapter filled with love, hope, and endless tail wags! Marge is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $275. Meet Nala! Nala is a sweet girl with lots of energy! She loves to run and play. She loves to play tug. She gets very into it and is very vocal while playing tug. While we are not sure how Nala would do with cats, we do know she does well with older kids. She has also lived with other dogs, but can be choosey with her friends. If you have another dog at home we would strongly recommend a meet and greet with them, to see if they are compatible. Nala does know basic commands and graduated from her beginner training class. She would greatly benefit from ongoing training and enrichment, to keep her being the best girl she can be. If you would like to meet Nala, please contact SPCA Cincinnati for more information.

Meet Ford, a remarkable Bulldog whose presence is as powerful and steadfast as a mighty river. Just like the characteristics of his breed, Ford embodies kindness and courage, showcasing a unique blend of friendliness and dignity. Now you may not see it by looking into his gorgeous brown eyes, but Ford has suffered in his short life.... he came to the rescue from the streets with a HORRIFIC hernia on his back end, near his rectum. He required two surgeries to correct the hernia and allow him to have a normal life again. He came through with SHINING colors ;) With his well-muscled frame and low-slung stature, Ford is the epitome of a true bruiser, but it's his iconic "sourmug" face that represents his unwavering courage and tenacity. Despite his robust appearance, Ford is a docile and loyal companion, adapting seamlessly to any environment, be it the bustling city or the serene countryside. With Ford by your side, you'll experience the unwavering devotion and unmistakable presence of a Bulldog, a breed that leaves an indelible mark on your heart. Don't miss the opportunity to welcome this incredible Bulldog into your life, as Ford's unique spirit will bring joy, love, and an unmistakable charm that only he can deliver. Some basic information about Ford; he is male, a Bulldog mix, and is medium-sized (20-59lbs). Ford is not great with other dogs (or cats or other critters) and would be best in a home with either only adults or older children and as a single dog. But his heart will fill your home with all the love you need!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Meet Gayle, a 2-year-old female American Bulldog mix with a stunning apricot and white bicolor coat. Gayle is a high-energy pup who loves spending time with people. She's incredibly friendly and cuddly, always eager to share affection. While Gayle enjoys the company of people, she can be selective with other dogs and might need a patient and experienced owner who can help her navigate her interactions. She's a bit anxious and defensive around other dogs, but with slow exposure and gentle guidance, she has the potential to adjust and become more comfortable over time. We suggest a single dog home for Gayle. If you're an experienced dog owner looking for a loving and energetic companion, Gayle could be the perfect addition to your family. With a little time and patience, she's sure to become a loyal and devoted friend. Come meet Gayle and see if you can be the one to provide her with a forever home filled with love and understanding. Meatloaf... its whats for DINNER!!! I will take a side of mashed taters and some GRAVY too :) I am actually the puppy, formerly known as HAMBURGER, but mixed with some love, spice and a little ketchup and turned into THIS BIG HUNKA LOVE!! (with a side of cute and silly too) I have a big heart and a big personality too. I want to be someone's really really good friend, and guess what?? I am even BETTER on the second day! Put a slice of Meatloaf between two slices of bread with more ketchup and you are feasting again for lunch! Anyway, enuff about food.. I am seriously getting hungry! The kind of hunger that can only be satisfied with a REAL FAMILY like yours! I am sweet and happy, I am goofy and happy and I am squishy and happy too! So if you have not figured it out yet... I AM HAPPY!!! I am pretty good with other dogs, I can share... if I have to!! I am kind of a couch potato, if you are into napping I am down with that. I can hike and do active stuff too, if you are into that. But just like after eating a big meatloaf sandwich, the best thing to do is to take a nap :) So look me up, here are my stats- I am lovely, and a solid 72#. I was treated for heartworms and am one big hunk-o-love ready for you :):) Be the bread to my Meatloaf!! Story
It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Walter! I like to greet people the old fashioned way, a tip of the nose, a meeting of the eyes, and a formal introduction of who I am. I've always kind of been an old-soul, at least that's what people tell me, with my wrinkled fur and gentle eyes. As an older gentleman I tend to have a bit more patience than these young whippersnapper pups. You'll find me waddling around quite slowly but my tail still wagging none the less! I have been known to snap when nervous, but I have come so far and I just need a little time and patience. Cause I just so want to be your big goofy friend! I have a soft and squishy face to go along with my squishy personality! I am great with my people and great with other dogs too. I am shy at the very first but am on the fast track to love! As a senior dog there's really only one thing I care about ... TREATS ... just kidding, it's being close to others. Being close to others helps remind me that I am here and my story is still being written with infinite possibilities. Perhaps you and I could write the next chapter together? Bravo is my name, now that indicates two things- either, BRAVO!!! Great dog!! OR, Bravo that comes after Alpha and before Charlie. Phonetically speaking- it could be EITHER! I hail from the great city of Laredo, via the high kill pound they have. I did arrive at the rescue with my buddies Alpha and Charlie. Those two are LONG ago adopted, and I am STILL waiting! You know, it is ok because I need a very very special family and will wait for that family to come along... I am a nervous boy at first so will need a family who will give me time to get comfortable and play, I need a buddy to play with, a happy and outgoing, confident pup or dog. I have all kinds of fun to live, I have come SO far, now just need the right home to be my goofy and silly self. I will entertain you and give butterfly kisses to the best family EVER!! So hurry up and adopt me, I don't want to wait a SECOND LONGER!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

Story
Meet Eunice! Eunice is an absolutely fantastic 7.5 yr old Bulldog - Boston Terrier mix who currently weighs 57 pounds. Eunice may have started her life as a puppy mill survivor, but her days of being a mill mom are over and now its time for this lady to enjoy the finer things in life! Eunice has been an absolute dream for her foster parents and siblings! She's house trained, doesn't mind her crate and will come and from it as she pleases and spends a fair bit of her time in there on her own. She loves running in the backyard with her foster siblings and is quick to return inside for her good girl treats and some belly scratches. She walks great on a leash, but long walks aren't really her forte. Eunice loves her people, but unlike most pups she loves her own space a whole lot too! Eunice isn't really a cuddle bug, she has flat out told her foster mom no to cuddling in bed and reading on a rainy day! She will hop on the couch out of excitement briefly with the other dogs when returning home, but then she's back to either her bed in front of the tv or her in her bed in the dinning room. She loves pets, and loves coming up to her people for attention, and she isn't shy about quickly giving her belly to you for more love! Though she won't entirely be the couch potato cuddling with you, but she sure will happily snuggle in a cozy bed next to you! Eunice just needs a nice quiet home where she can continue out her retirement and enjoy the good life. She wouldn't mind a friendly companion, but one also isn't necessary for her as she is a rather independent lady. Her perfect day consists of some walks outside into the yard to just look over the scenery, a calm breakfast and some naps. After that an afternoon of a short half a street walk to the stop sign and back again, some more yard hangs and then more naps till dinner and that is Eunice's perfect day. Looking for a laid back, snoozy lady? Have the perfect retirement home? Eunice might be your gal! Eunice is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450. Eunice is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination.
