WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾🥧 Well hello y'all — I’m Moon Pie! 🥧🐾 (2 Years • 70 lbs • Male • Big Goof Energy Included) Yep, Moon Pie — like the sweet treat and like Sheldon’s Meemaw calls him on The Big Bang Theory. Because when you’re this lovable, wiggly, and impossible not to adore, you deserve a name that sounds like a hug. And let me tell you… I am a hug in dog form. I’m a big, lanky, floppy, happy boy with a giant heart and zero shame about belly rubs. I will dramatically roll over, squirm, wiggle, and grin while you rub my belly like it’s my full-time job (spoiler: it is). My foster dad calls me a total goof — and honestly, I take that as a compliment. I’m fully house trained (very proud of this accomplishment) and I’m doggie-door certified. If the door is ever locked, I politely wait like the gentleman I am instead of panicking or causing chaos. On walks, I usually stroll along nicely on a loose leash… unless a squirrel appears, or a potential new friend crosses my path, in which case I briefly but only briefly, forget my professionalism 😅 🐾 Moon Pie’s Fun Facts & Credentials: ✔️ House trained & crate trained (I relax quietly when you leave) ✔️ Uses the dog door like a pro ✔️ Walks well on leash — excitement moments included ✔️ Quiet at home — not much of a barker ✔️ Loves toys and can entertain himself like a one-dog circus ✔️ Knows “sit” and “stay” and takes treats gently ✔️ Super smart, eager to learn, and very trainable I’ve lived with a senior dog and we got along great — though I’ll admit, sometimes I forget not everyone wants to play as much as I do. I’d love a dog buddy who enjoys some playtime or a human who’s happy to help me keep polishing my manners. I really want to be the best boy. Oh — and if you’re into running or biking? Congratulations, you’ve just found your new workout partner. I love keeping pace and cruising alongside you like it’s no big deal. At the end of the day, I’m sweet, affectionate, goofy, active, and full of potential. I’m the kind of dog who brings laughter to your yard, calm to your home, and loyalty to your heart. If you’re looking for a loving, slightly ridiculous, incredibly charming companion with sweetness galore and is Meemaw-level approval… I think we might be a perfect match. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and bring home Moon Pie — the snack-sized name with the full-sized heart. 🖤🤍🥧🐾

Story
She’s beauty, she’s Grac(i)e, she’s your new housemate! Gracie is a 5‑year‑old, 48‑lb, black Boxer with the softest soul and the gentlest heart. After a hard start in a puppy mill, she is learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and home — and she’s doing it with quiet bravery every single day. Her superpowers include being incredibly sweet and gentle, getting along beautifully with her small foster sister, and staying calm around other dogs on walks. She’s still learning to trust new people, but once she realizes you’re kind, she melts into the sweetest little companion. In terms of house training, Gracie knows to go outside. Since her spay, she has been great about using potty pads if she needs to go in between breaks. She’s still learning how to tell you she needs to go, but she’s trying her best and improving with patience. One of her biggest strengths is her love for her crate — it’s her cozy safe place. She naps there throughout the day, often surrounded by her “stuffie treasures.” Gracie is a stuffie connoisseur: she loves to sneakily gather every stuffie in the house and stockpile them in her crate like a squirrel hoarding acorns. Her energy level is very low — she’s happiest with about 500 naps a day. When she does go outside, she’s making great progress on the leash. She walks slowly, needs patience in new areas, and sometimes forgets she’s supposed to follow you instead of the other way around. Once she knows a route, she does much better. A martingale collar is best for her, as loud noises can startle her. Some of her favorite things are her squeaky stuffies, her crate, quiet naps, and gentle companionship. If you’re looking for a soft‑hearted girl who wants nothing more than safety, kindness, and a comfy place to snooze, Gracie might be your perfect match. Gracie is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $300.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Olympia was born around March 21,2019. She is a brave and beautiful mixed breed mama who has already lived a lifetime of love and loyalty. Weighing about 47 pounds, this sweet girl was rescued from a homeless camp where she was raising her six puppies under a bridge in a high-traffic area. Despite the harsh conditions, Olympia proved to be an incredible mother, keeping all her babies safe and cared for until help arrived. Now that her puppies are growing up and finding homes of their own, it's Olympia’s turn to find the loving family she deserves. She’s very sweet, gentle, and adores people. Olympia walks nicely on a leash, is well-behaved, and enjoys affection and companionship. She does best with slow introductions to other dogs, especially when her puppies are nearby, as she can be protective (we call it "fence fighting"). Olympia is ready for her next chapter—one filled with soft beds, leisurely walks, and unconditional love. Her adoption fee is $300, and you can apply to adopt her at www.adoggie4you.org. Give this resilient mama the happy ending she’s earned. Olympia can’t wait to meet you! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
Meet Duke — a 3.5-year-old, 45-pound sweetheart with just the right mix of playful energy and easygoing charm. Duke is the kind of dog who makes himself part of your life in the best possible way. He loves going for walks and exploring the world around him, happily taking in all the sights and smells. With his moderate energy level, he’s always up for an adventure, but he’s just as content to relax by your side once the outing is done. He would thrive in an active home that enjoys regular walks, outings, and having a loyal companion along for the ride. One of Duke’s most endearing qualities is how affectionate he is. He forms strong bonds with his people and shows it in the sweetest way—often resting his head on you as if he’s giving you a hug. He’s happiest when he’s close to his humans and included in everyday life, whether that’s lounging at home or hanging out after a walk. Duke is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs, making him a great candidate for a home with a canine companion or regular social outings. He is coexisting with cats in his foster home as well. To top it off, Duke is also house trained and crate trained, and sleeps quietly in his crate overnight without fuss. Duke really is the total package — a well-mannered, affectionate, and social pup. If you’re looking for a loyal and adventuresome companion, apply for Duke today! Duke is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $275.00. I'm gonna make you an wo-offer you can't refuse. That's Pacino's favorite phrase. The adoption deal is simple: a roof over his head, a cold dish of water, daily meals and treats, plus an abundance of love. What? It's a good deal! Pacino, now over a year old, has become a true Dogfather. He is well-behaved, happy-go lucky, is very handsome, and has a wonderful, playful nature; he fits seamlessly into any family. His lineage boasts a long line of Dog-Father's, tough dogs out in the world whose business is their own. But, they are loyal, loving and strong characters to have around you.. He's a potty-trained and crate-trained gentleman, but he still has a penchant for chewing. He adores treats and toys, but can go through them quickly. Proper and slow introductions to other dogs are essential. Pacino would thrive best with older kids. Join the legacy and give Pacino the family he deserves. After all, a dog like him is an offer you can't refuse. Story
Jill’s story started in a ditch alongside her brother when she was just a tiny puppy. Despite such a rough beginning, this sweet girl has held onto her gentle heart. Jill is shy and a little nervous when meeting new people. At adoption events, when things feel overwhelming, she’ll simply curl up and go to sleep — her quiet way of coping with the big world around her. Because of this tender, cautious nature, she’s now over a year old and still waiting for someone to see the beautiful soul she truly is. But give Jill just a little time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll discover her real personality. 🌟 She blossoms into a happy, playful girl who loves zoomies in the yard, a good game of fetch, and romping around with other dogs. Once she feels safe, her nubby wags freely and her playful spirit shines. Jill doesn’t need much — just a calm, loving home willing to let her warm up at her own pace. In return, you’ll get the sweetest, most loyal companion who will quietly choose you as her person. Could you be the one to give Jill the safe forever she’s been waiting for? Story
Meet Picasso & Marmalade 🍊 If these two puppies could talk, they’d tell quite the story. Picasso and Marmalade were found abandoned at a mattress dump, sick, starving, and struggling to survive. Thanks to lots of care, good food, and love, those difficult days are behind them, and now they’re ready to start the next chapter of their lives: finding forever families. At just 8 weeks old, these adorable pups are as sweet as can be. We believe they may be Staffie/Boxer mixes, which means they're likely to grow into loyal, fun-loving companions with plenty of personality. 🍊 Marmalade is the more reserved of the pair. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a few minutes and you'll see her sweet, loving personality shine through. She's still building her confidence and learning that the world isn't such a scary place. 🎨 Picasso is the adventurous one. He's curious about everything and is usually the first to investigate a new toy, explore a new corner of the yard, or see what's happening around him. He's playful, happy, and always ready for a little adventure. Both puppies are affectionate, playful, and soaking up all the love they can get. After everything they've been through, they deserve families who will show them what a safe, happy life looks like. Ready to add a little color to your life? Picasso and Marmalade are waiting to paint your world with puppy kisses, wagging tails, and unconditional love. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Ozzy is an 9 mo old America Pitbull mix. She is a beautiful brindle. She is up to date on shots, chipped and spayed. I cannot keep her as I work too many hours and travel too much to give her the love and attention she needs. She has a sweet disposition. Loves to snuggle, especially at night. I have a cage for her, although she is not fully cage or house trained as of yet due to going in between homes. She was recently diagnosed with bi lateral hip dysplaysia. She will need someone willing to put in the work to maintain her health. I adore her, she is such a sweetie, but deserves a good home that can meet her needs. I stepped in to help her get healthy and adoptable.

We recused her when she was two. She had no one who would take her and we believed we would be staying in our home forever. She comes with clothes which help during thunderstorms. She love cuddling up and being very close to people. She is 7 years old and will be 8 in August. I will also provide a harness and leashes has been the best way to walk her. She doesn’t do well with other dogs but loves our two cats. She is great with our two year old son. I have noticed that will some people she is friendly right away and some people she is a little stand offish or worried about.

Story
I am currently seeking a new, loving home for my 18-month-old dog, Sir, due to unforeseen circumstances that have impacted my ability to provide the necessary care. Sir was initially trained as an emotional support dog for my son; however, with my son's transition to college and the loss of my mother, I will be embarking on a month-long trip to Massachusetts and require a stable care arrangement for Sir. Sir is: 18 months old, crate trained, knowledgeable in basic commands, and enjoys activities such as dog parks and hiking. He is energetic, playful, and affectionate, thriving on interaction with his family and other dogs. He is up-to-date on shots and neutered. Sir would benefit from a home that offers regular exercise, attention, and love.
