She will greet you home after a day of work with a big smile. Yes she really does smile. She does pretty good on a leash. She loves to go for walks or runs with you. She is very trainable and eager to learn. She does okay for the most part with cats. For food wise and treats chicken formula food and chicken treats is the only thing that doesn't upset her stomach. She is looking for a forever home that will love her, spend time with her, take her places and spoil her. The only reason we are looking for a forever new home is due to family things going on and are unable to give her the quality of time that she deserves.

Hi! My name is Hank and I am available for adoption.I came to RASKC on 1/17/26 and I really can`t wait to find my new home!I am a bit wiggly boy and I am so happy to meet new friends. If you`re looking for a bigger boy who still dreams of being a lapdog and a faithful companion then look no further. I`m looking for a family that will make sure I get plenty of play time and will always have a minute to give me some extra pets. I have not had any experience with cats but I do have positive experience living with another dog. It is recommended that, if you have another dog, you bring them to the shelter to meet me and see if we can be friends.It is preferred that I go to a home with older children or adults only. Sometimes my big personality and wiggles can be too much for smaller children. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Sweet boy Porkchop is a gem, who loves to be with his humans, and very good with other dogs and does not mind cats either. He is very well behaved, mild mannered, obedient pup. He was rescued from a Houston shelter and he has been great at boarding kennels and foster homes. Apply to adopt him via savesomesouls.com He is very calm, gentle, and velcro pup. He loves his chew toys and treats. He is also an excellent treat catcher. You can throw a treat from any part of the room, Porkie tries not to miss it. His daycare manager says he is one of the smartest dogs he has met. He also does not care that the dogs bark at him, he just walks away. He loves to cuddle, and snuggle. He will be great as a companion for any family or single person. He is good with cats and dogs. He is a big boy, so we will prefer not to adopt him out to a family with little children. Porkchop is 4 yo and weighs 65 lb. He is fully vetted, and neutered. He is also chipped and heartworm negative. Porkchop is currently in Texas, and can travel to any state, and even Canada to the right home. To adopt our puppies, yards must be fully and adequately fenced. We do not accept invisible or electric fences. To meet this sweet pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application form via www.savesomesouls.com Porkchop's adoption fee of $400 includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, and Harness. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. If, after meeting a pup, the foster parent or the adoption applicant do not feel they are a good fit for each other, we often offer other pups who are better fit. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued from our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible.
