After the heartbreaking loss of my neighbor in late April, I stepped in to care for his four truly special dogs which are now ready for loving, permanent homes. These incredible pups—Harley, Memphis, Rufus, and Stormie—each have their own unique personalities and so much love to give. Harley and Rufus have been adopted, leaving only Stormie and Memphis.I’ve made their health and well-being the top priority. They have been seen at Tacoma Animal Hospital for full wellness exams, vaccinations, and boosters. They’ve been cleared of any health concerns, so you can adopt with confidence knowing they are healthy, cared for, and ready to thrive in their next chapter.Stormie (English Bulldog/American Pitbull) – Full of energy and affection, Stormie is loving, snuggly, playful, outgoing, and thrives on human interaction. Hi, my name is Mimi! I was born in September of 2022. My people think I may be an American Bulldog mix. I am 42 pounds. I am a smaller gal and my people say I am the perfect medium size girl! I came into rescue after a nice lady watched me being chased by a bunch of other dogs. I was in heat and nothing good was going to come from that. She saved me from having an unwanted litter of puppies on the street. I am a super sweet girl. I like to play and snuggle. My foster family has done a great job socializing me. I love everyone I meet and like to be loved on. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I am in a home with other dogs and do well. I like having the foster siblings. I have been around both large dogs and small dogs. There is a ten year old boy in my foster home and I really like him. I am house trained, crate trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car and am up for any adventure. I can totally envision myself sitting at an outdoor coffee shop slurping a cappuccino! I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Zane is a total heartthrob with a personality as bright as his smile! This 3-year-old boy is the full package — sweet, affectionate, calm and full of love! Whether he’s goofing around with his friends, soaking up attention, or showing off his happy tail wags, Zane is pure sunshine in dog form. ☀️ Zane was brought to a high kill Houston shelter as a stray alongside his buddy Rascal and the two have been nothing short of amazing together. Their sweet and loving disposition bought them a ticket to life and they were rescued. Zane and Rascal can be adopted together or separately. Either way, this handsome boy is so ready to bring endless fun and affection to a lucky forever home. Zane is about 3 years old, and currently weighs 63 lb. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. He is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Meet Cupcake, a great all-around dog! She was found by a county deputy on the side of the highway, where she was cuddling her dog friend who had been hit by a car. The cop actually thought she had been hit also because she was laying with him after he had passed! We think they were both dumped. Cupcake really needs a best friend to snuggle with! Her ideal would be someone who works from home with at least a small fenced yard. She just wants affection and would love to host doggie play dates and then crash out on the couch. She is a moderate energy level. Cupcake is good with adults, children and other dogs. Really, a great pup! Thank you! And Cupcake thanks you, as well! 7 year old, 80 pound neutered American Bulldog. UTD on vaccines and health exams with no known health issues. His temperament is very much a guard dog mentality, with lower energy levels. Great for snuggling on the couch and having a companion who just wants your company. He has a high prey drive, so he cannot be placed with a family who has cats or small animals, although female dogs are okay. He also has a “Leader of the Pack” alpha presence, so it would be best to go to a home with female dogs only - or no other animals at all. He’s wonderful with children and infants, though! My fiancé and I are rehoming due to HOA restrictions where we live; and I have two cats. So, Rolo and his female companion, Freya, have been staying with my fiancé’s mom’s home until we can find other arrangements. He’s a wonderful addition to the family, and all we want is to find a loving home for him.
