Tank is a 5 year old Bully. We got him from a local breeder at 8 weeks old. He is a big baby and a little lover. Tank needs a home with someone that is home more often then not. An older couple, or old single person, someone who works from home and a home without small children. Tank has some separation anxiety and requires a lot of attention. This is the hardest decision we have ever had to make. We have our first grandbaby on his way, who will also live with us. Tank has shown some signs of aggressive behaviors with little ones. Never done anything as we have kept him up when little ones are around. Just causes concern for us. We want to assure Tank gets the home he deserves and the love and attention he should have. Tank is not create trained. He is fine to be left out as long as the garbage is not out. He wont tear or destroy things. Loves long walks and car rides. Tank does have allergies to poultry ! He gets hives and very itchy

Henry is a sweet boy, who is having dominance issues with his brother, and is causing tension in the house. He will do well with a female dog, but preferably no other fur siblings. He does great with our kids, and loves them to pieces. We have made the hard decision to rehome him, for his best interest and ours. Henry loves to snuggle, wrestle, and be with his people. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Remi is a very sweet, lovable, older guy looking for a soft place to call home.  Remi looks like a perfect mix of bulldog and boxer.   His owner passed and the Son tried to keep him.  He had 2 larger male dogs already and the 3 did not mesh.   We have not done loose dog to dog testing yet as we've taken care of his skin issues and ear infections first. If you know these breeds, you know they cannot eat grain filled food.  He's healthy and doing great now! He has not shown any reactivity going past other dogs, even when they are barking like crazy at him (some of the smaller, younger ones).  He met the old cat and didn't care about her at all.  So if you have another dog or need to know how he is loose with another dog, we'll test him.  It was just him and his Dad for 8 years and we'd love for him to just have people to dote on him rather than share him again.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 2, 2023, 2:42 pm

Welcome Contessa to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 6-year-old American Bulldog/Pittie mix is our guess. She has an adorable blue and one brown eye. She weighs about 50 pounds and is good with other dogs. She barks at her kennel door so her best place would be with a wooden privacy fence. She is moderate to low activity and loves to be touched. She is good in her crate and will make some lucky family a good companion. She is lower energy so she could go with a more relaxed and laid-back family. She could also go with children. We like them to be 10 or older. She was found as a stray on the construction site and had to survive until a good Samaritan caught her and brought her to CCPAL rescue. She warms up slowly but bonds deeply to her people. She has fallen in love with the kennel fellas. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Meet adorable and active Annie! This Lurcher girl is between 5- 6 years old and was rescued by the American Lurcher Project. Annie weighs approximately 60 pounds. She is a very energetic girl and definitely needs a house with a yard. Annie is outgoing, intelligent and mischievous! Annie is food- motivated food and loves her blankets and playing. Annie adores her chin scratches and everything outdoors. She’ll make a great exercise partner as she digs walking, running and hiking. Annie needs a high energy adopter like herself. Annie lived in a very small apartment and even though the people walked her 3 to 5 miles a day, they just couldn’t wear her out. Annie needs to be an only dog because she is way too energetic for most other dogs and plays very roughly. Annie should not go to a home with children. She is a resource guarder and sees the children as competition for her things and food. Annie also has Separation Anxiety that had improved before the Pandemic but now that everyone is home all the time, she is back to square one. The owners did work with a behaviorist and some behaviors have improved. Bless her little heart, Annie likely has some of these issues as she was confined to a very small space all the time. Annie is such a great girl and really deserves a chance! Annie is very routine oriented and can be anxious if the routine is disturbed. She responds well to mental stimulation as well as physical. Juniper is a happy, friendly, adorable lab mix. She is affectionate and playful. Juniper loves to play ball, fetch and hang out with you or play in the yard. She loves attention and loves to give kisses. Juniper is a bit shy, but will warm up quickly and bond with you fast. She is so eager to please and can’t wait to go on adventures with you. Juniper will need a home with a fenced yard as she is active and young. Juniper found herself as a young pup in a shelter in California. She was adopted and then dumped at another shelter after she was hit by a car. Juniper was fortunately rescued by Greyhound Pets in Woodinville even though she’s definitely NOT a greyhound mix. She has a slight head tilt (adorable) and has some hip dysplasia but now she is absolutely happy and playful and has a great future ahead of her. Lilly likes being around people, but has a high prey drive so needs to be the only dog in the home. Lilly will also need a home with a fenced yard and without cats. Due to her prey drive, we do not recommend Lilly for a home with young children. Older kids are good because they can play with her and exercise her. Lilly is very eager to learn and enjoys doing training and working with our volunteers/trainer. She would be a great candidate for agility.
