Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old  (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 40 lb Boxer/Retriever mix.  He will be a medium to large dog as an adult.  Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old.  Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots).  Rubble is the sole survivor.  He will be special needs throughout his life.  He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans?  When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper.  He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides.  He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects.  He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap.  He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health.   He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family.  He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home.    No apartments.   Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. Story
HI - I'M MILLIE! And I'm truly a miracle dog! I had reportedly been roaming in an empty field in the high desert of California for over a month. When I was finally caught, I had heat stroke, and my temperature was so high that the shelter's thermometer couldn't even read it. But after some tender loving care, I cooled down to a normal temperature. I had fought for my life, and I made a full recovery. I'm truly the perfect dog. I'm sweet, loving and smart. I regularly gave the shelter staff my paws to show them my gratitude. I was pretty well housetrained in the shelter. I love other dogs, even those that jump all over me. I'm a 5-year-old Boxer mix who deserves the very best home. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Olympia!

Story
This sweet, neutered boy is a Boxer Staffy mix with a sprinkling of bull terrier. He weighs around 80 pounds, and is roughly 2.5 years old. Koda has lived with his foster dad for 4 months, thriving with structure and access to a yard. Koda is highly food motivated and very receptive to positive redirection. He is eager to please! All qualities that have helped Koda learn leash manners and new commands in the short time he has been with his foster dad. Koda is microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and loves meeting new people. He is crate trained, potty trained, loves playing find it and respects boundaries when they are enforced. He loves licking frozen yogurt from his lick mat and chewing his kong. He has no accidents in the house while his foster dad is at work. Koda would do wonderful as a solo dog, as he may try to be head of the pack in a multi-dog household. The first 3 months he will need patience as he navigates separation anxiety and growing secure in his fur-ever home.

Story
Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. He wouldn't be ideal with a house that has small children. He is always eager to please. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1545628##

Story
Meet Trafalgar, a 7-month-old male puppy with a black-and-white coat and what we suspect is a pit bull mix heritage. When Trafalgar first arrived at the shelter, he was very shy and unsure of his new surroundings, but with a little time and patience, his true personality has begun to shine. Once he feels safe, he’s gentle, affectionate, and eager to connect—proof that a soft heart lives under that cautious exterior. Now that he’s warming up, Trafalgar loves to play and enjoys spending time with people who move at his pace. He’ll do best with an adopter who understands that confidence comes with consistency, kindness, and reassurance. With continued socialization and positive experiences, Trafalgar is sure to grow into a loyal, loving companion who will reward your patience with endless sweetness and tail wags. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Meet Lola, an 80-lb black-and-white pit bull powerhouse with a heart the size of a beanbag chair. At around 4 years old, Lola might give you a cautious side-eye when you first meet her, but give her a minute (and maybe say something nice about her) and she’ll decide you’re her person. She walks pretty well on leash, though if she’s excited about where you’re headed, she may add a little enthusiasm to the journey—nothing some gentle guidance and practice won’t polish up.Once Lola warms up, it’s game over in the best way. She is a full-contact love bug who will absolutely climb into your lap (all 80 pounds of her) and deliver enthusiastic, heartfelt kisses like she’s making up for lost time. She enjoys toys, has a playful streak, and may do well with other dogs given proper introductions. Lola is looking for a home that appreciates a big, affectionate goofball who starts shy but finishes strong—with cuddles, kisses, and a lifetime of loyalty. Story
Are you looking for a Best friend, traveling companion and a dog that will protect you. Bonnie is the dog for you. She would be a perfect only dog. She loves to play. She will greet you home after a day of work with a big smile. Yes she really does smile. She does pretty good on a leash. She loves to go for walks or runs with you. She is very trainable and eager to learn. She does okay for the most part with cats. For food wise and treats chicken formula food and chicken treats is the only thing that doesn't upset her stomach. She is looking for a forever home that will love her, spend time with her, take her places and spoil her. The only reason we are looking for a forever new home is due to family things going on and are unable to give her the quality of time that she deserves.
