Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old  (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 40 lb Boxer/Retriever mix.  He will be a medium to large dog as an adult.  Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old.  Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots).  Rubble is the sole survivor.  He will be special needs throughout his life.  He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans?  When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper.  He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides.  He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects.  He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap.  He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health.   He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family.  He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home.    No apartments.   Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. Story
HI - I'M MILLIE! And I'm truly a miracle dog! I had reportedly been roaming in an empty field in the high desert of California for over a month. When I was finally caught, I had heat stroke, and my temperature was so high that the shelter's thermometer couldn't even read it. But after some tender loving care, I cooled down to a normal temperature. I had fought for my life, and I made a full recovery. I'm truly the perfect dog. I'm sweet, loving and smart. I regularly gave the shelter staff my paws to show them my gratitude. I was pretty well housetrained in the shelter. I love other dogs, even those that jump all over me. I'm a 5-year-old Boxer mix who deserves the very best home. Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Olympia!

Story
Meet Chip! Chip is a sweet and gentle soul who’s feeling a little unsure of the world right now. He genuinely wants connection but he just needs things to move at his pace. With slow movements, a soft voice, and a few tasty treats, Chip begins to relax and reveal his loving, tender side. He’s looking for a patient, kind person who can help him feel safe and show him that the world isn’t so scary after all.

Story
Meet Krabby Patty Secret Recipe (but let’s be real—KP if you’re short on time and long on love). At just 2 years old and a perfectly snack-sized 39.6 lbs, this brown-and-white pittie cutie is a sprightly little lady with big “main character energy.” She’s plucky, she’s cute, she’s energetic, and she is VERY into people and treats (in that order… or maybe the reverse, thank yewwww). KP is basically the secret sauce you didn’t know your life was missing—one wiggle and you’re hooked.KP considers herself a proud member (nay, chair member) of the Pretty Pittie Committee and takes her duties seriously: greeting humans, collecting pets, and ensuring all snacks are distributed fairly (to her). She’s affectionate, social, and gives off strong “tiny piglet trotting happily toward you” vibes at all times. We don’t yet know how she feels about other pups, so if you’ve got a potential furry sibling at home, we highly encourage a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone vibes—no secret formulas required. If you’re ready to unlock the Krabby Patty Secret Recipe to unconditional love, KP is ready to serve it up hot and fresh. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
Jellyfish floated into our hearts real quick. At first, the kennel environment has her feeling a little like a translucent sea creature caught in a riptide—nervous, unsure, and just trying to vibe. But toss in some gentle baby talk and a few cookies, and suddenly this pup turns into a full-on marshmallow drifting right over for affection. Once she realizes you’re safe, she’s sweet, soft, and surprisingly cuddly for someone with such an ocean-themed name. She’s friendly, just needs a moment to warm up—think “graceful jellyfish glow,” not “instant cannonball.” Jellyfish came in with a buddy and may do well with a furry sibling, though we do recommend a meet and greet to make sure everyone swims smoothly together. If you’re ready to let this shy little sea blob bloom into the loving companion she’s meant to be, we think you’re ready for this Jelly. Come scoop her up!The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
Meet Evey, Chairwoman of the Pretty Pittie Committee and full-time Director of “What’s Everyone Doing and Why Am I Not Involved?” At 5 years old and a sturdy 70 lbs, this black-and-white cow-print cutie is friendly, confident, and very much here to supervise all activities. She’s a front-of-the-kennel gal who seeks the people, happily trotting into the office to sniff, investigate, and circle back for attention like it’s her job (because it is). Evey takes treats with absolute politeness, knows sit, shake, and lay down, and will gladly show off her résumé if snacks are involved. Evey is a curious little instigator—if there’s a noise, a conversation, or a mystery happening behind a door, she wants IN. She can be vocal and demanding when she feels left out, but once she’s getting pets and praise, the commentary turns right off. She’s social and generally friendly with passersby. Sometimes she needs a couple treats to win her over but we respect a girlie who knows what she wants. Bonus: she’s already spayed (tattoo spotted during an epic back-wiggle moment), enjoys belly rubs, and will absolutely flop over for pets. She came into the shelter with some skin issues so shes a little bit itchy right now, but our vert team has her treatments started and she`s responding well :). Evey is looking for a home that appreciates a dog with opinions, charm, and a strong desire to be part of the action—because behind every great household is an Evey making sure things run properly! The dog adoption fee is $90.
