Story
Prince has a short coat that is mostly black with a white chest. Prince is a very handsome dog. He is very muscular and strong. Prince enjoys the outdoor life but will do well in an indoor environment. He does will with laid back dogs but will stand his ground when challenged. Due to this it is probably best for him to be in a one-dog home. Prince is leash trained but pulls a bit because he is so strong. Prince will need an owner that is patient with him and will continue his training. He will need an owner that knows how to gently handle a strong dog. Prince will need regular exercise and will need to be in a home with a fenced yard. Prince is crate trained and kennel trained. He is currently working on his house training. Prince is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. ##1499381##

Theres nothing better than having Freddy come lay his head in your lap for some love.  He's mostly red/chestnut coat with a white chest and a few white toes.He is a very strong, active and alert dog. He is extremely people friendly and loves to play with all his toys. Freddy is very puppy like with puppy play tendencies and mischievous. He enjoys playing and exploring the outdoors. Freddy is very happy when he is out running his yard. He will thrive with a family who has an active outdoor lifestyle.  Freddy is good with other dogs but needs to learn how to properly approach them. He is excellent with older children. Freddy is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and is neutered. ##1499382##

Story
"Hi there, I'm Cleo, the ultimate cuddle connoisseur and undisputed champion of goofy antics! 🐾 I'm a 2-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix, and let me tell you, I've got the charm to make your heart melt. I'm a social butterfly, a friend to all dogs, and even though I've met a few cats, they're still a bit mysterious to me. 🐱 My foster mom says I'm a crate and potty pro – no accidents here! I love kids, and my idea of a perfect night is snuggling up in bed, watching a movie with my humans. 🛌 Oh, and did I mention I'm not food aggressive? You can trust me to dine peacefully in a common area. I'm sweet, I'm goofy, and I haven't even considered lifting a lip at those pesky flies. If you're looking for a furry sidekick for adventures or a cozy night in, I'm your paw-some match! Let's make some memories together – adopt me, and let the laughter begin! 🐶❤️ I am in Texas, but my $395 adoption fee includes transport to you🚌#CleoAdventures"

Story
Welcome Pumpkin to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 7-year-old Boxer/Cattle dog is our best guess. She weighs about 50 pounds. She has the most adorable underbite. She had an older man as her owner and he died and now Pumpkin is looking for her forever home. Her teeth are clean and she will not need a dental anytime soon. The older man that owned her took good care of this girl. She is a lower energy girl that would love an older couple or older single person to call her new family. She loves attention here at the rescue and she is really not sure what just happened. Every time we get her out of the kennels to walk her she is looking for her new owner. We are honored to help this charming dog. She would be great for someone wanting a companion dog. She is potty trained, leash trained and very sweet. She is getting all her vaccines topped up and will be looking for her forever home. She will be an easy dog to bring in as she isn’t too energetic and has lived in a home until recently so she is very mannerly. She doesn’t jump up which is a bonus in a rescue dog. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Bella! She is available for adoption but will be staying at her foster home until adopted. If you'd like to meet, please contact the shelter and we will make arrangements for the foster home to contact you about meeting her.Meet Bella! The following information is provided by her foster home:Bella is one of the sweetest dogs I've had the good fortune of knowing. She is loyal, playful, and distributes her love evenly among those she cares about. Be sweet to her and you've got a friend for life. She is outrageously adorable, to boot.Bella loves to go for walks. A daily walk between 30-60 minutes keeps her content, otherwise she can get a little restless. That being said, she does not strike me as one who would need a huge backyard. She mainly uses ours to go potty and saves her activity and sniffing for walks. Using a gentle-guider, she's really well-behaved on a leash. She is reactive to other dog walkers, though. She is aggressive with other dogs and isn't comfortable around children, but she has been fine with both adult men and women. She prefers it when people let her come to them. She gets excited with new people and can tend to jump up and give kisses a little too forcefully. She loves to lick and can be kind of an attention hog! All you have to do is look at her and say her name and she'll start wagging her tail.Bella LOVES her toys, especially plushies. She'll often go get a toy and bring it over to you to play or sometimes just to show it off. She even started knowing them by name! She is a toy destroyer and destuffer and they don't last long. She has even ripped a rubber Kong toy into pieces in under two hours. She is extremely smart. She already seemed to know sit, speak, shake, roll over, kiss, up, and stay. We worked with her on "spin around" and she caught on quickly. Bella is very food motivated. She loves to eat. Teaching her tricks and rewarding her behavior is best done with nibbles in hand. She is also very responsive to love and positive reinforcement. She is sensitive to discipline. She is a velcro dog and she seems to enjoy having someone around at home. She likes a routine. When off routine, she can be anxious. Her best days are comprised of sleeping, eating, belly rubs, following her people around, and going for a long walk. Car rides stress her out. She's excited to get in the car, but once she's in and moving she gets very anxious. She is very well-behaved at home alone, but gets a little sad and prefers to have her people home with her.She likes to snuggle on her terms. She likes to have her own doggy bed nearby so she can freely sleep wherever she wants. She may be older in years old but she acts very young in spirit. She is sweet, cheerful, protective and perceptive. She will alert you (loudly) if someone is at the door or if she hears something unusual.Bella just finished nano laser treatment for a mast cell tumor on her left hind leg. It was successfully removed and she is in clinical remission! She has periodic check-ups to ensure it stays that way. Her next appointment is scheduled for late January. She receives two over-the-counter medications, twice a day. She will need to remain on these for life. They are inexpensive and she will eat them if you just put them on her food. After spending a year and a half with Bella, I would deem her ideal adopter to have:· No other pets and no children· A work-from-home family member so she doesn't get lonely· Acreage for her to run around and explore, or the ability to consistently provide her with a 30-60min walk every day· A routine-based lifestyle - travel and unpredictability cause her stress· Commitment to her cancer follow-up appointments and medication· A desire to both give and receive a whole lotta loveBella is a happy girl who deserves a family that's going to be just as sweet to her as she is to them. A family that will take loving care of her for the rest of her Bella days. If that sounds like you, then I'd love to talk further with you!The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DHPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), and Strongid (wormer). Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online.
