After the heartbreaking loss of my neighbor in late April, I stepped in to care for his truly special dogs which are now ready for loving, permanent homes. These incredible pups—Memphis and Stormie—each have their own unique personalities and so much love to give. Stormie and Memphis are mother and daughter and can be adopted together or separately.I’ve made their health and well-being the top priority. They have been seen at Tacoma Animal Hospital for full wellness exams, vaccinations, and boosters. They’ve been cleared of any health concerns, so you can adopt with confidence knowing they are healthy, cared for, and ready to thrive in their next chapter.Stormie (English Bulldog/American Pitbull) – Full of energy and affection, Stormie is loving, snuggly, playful, outgoing, and thrives on human interaction. Raven is a sweet sweet boy! He loves everyone and all animals that he’s met so far! He does tricks and is very easily taught new ones. We don’t have the time to give him the activity that he needs and he is young and still can’t roam the house freely because he gets into things ( mostly trash) . We really believe he would be happier with a family that had the time and patience to get him through his young energetic phase! He is a lovey lovey boy who does not know that he weighs 70lbs and will lay on you all day if you let him. ( when he’s not trying to find trash) He loves cats, they DO NOT love him so he ends up with hurt feelings a lot. He wants to best friends with our 5 lb chihuahua who also would rather him not approach him, he persists though he’s determined to be friends. We’ve had him 1 1/2 years and I just don’t think we are doing right by him. I don’t want money, just a good home for this guy.

Tuatha was born during Covid. We are not sure how good she is with most dogs she has only been around a few. She is great with her mom and adored her brother that passed away. She is good with a family members Pomsky. And a few friends dogs. She struggles on occasion with a sister from her litter. We think there is a little jealousy. She has made friends with a German shepherd puppy & a few friends of ours dogs. So, like all dogs she has dogs she likes & doesn’t like. She is not introduced to them off leash or unsupervised. The ones she has been around & likes there have never been any issues with. She loves people & kids. My nieces & nephews adore her. She is a love bug & she has lived with a cat her whole life but ignores him. They both prefer life that way. She is allergic to chicken(common bully allergy) but nothing else. She is crate & house trained. Loves sunbathing & walks. She likes chew toys. Her tounge sticks out a lot it’s super cute. She puffs instead of barks it’s silly.

Hi, my name is Mimi! I was born in September of 2022. My people think I may be an American Bulldog mix. I am 42 pounds. I am a smaller gal and my people say I am the perfect medium size girl! I came into rescue after a nice lady watched me being chased by a bunch of other dogs. I was in heat and nothing good was going to come from that. She saved me from having an unwanted litter of puppies on the street. I am a super sweet girl. I like to play and snuggle. My foster family has done a great job socializing me. I love everyone I meet and like to be loved on. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I am in a home with other dogs and do well. I like having the foster siblings. I have been around both large dogs and small dogs. There is a ten year old boy in my foster home and I really like him. I am house trained, crate trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car and am up for any adventure. I can totally envision myself sitting at an outdoor coffee shop slurping a cappuccino! I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Story
Tito is a 5 year old pure bred boxer. He has champion blood line but was the runt of his liter so he’s on the smaller side for a boxer. He’s got plenty of energy and loves to play with all sorts of balls. He does amazing with kids and is house trained. He pulls when he’s on a leash but nothing crazy. When he initially meets other dogs he can seem aggressive but once they’ve been introduced he does great. He is up to date on all his shots but he is not neutered. We tried getting him neutered a few months ago but the vet said his liver levels were slightly high so they didn’t feel comfortable doing it at this point. He also has some skin allergies. I haven’t been able to figure out what he’s allergic to but allergy shots do help. We just had a baby that has some health stuff so we’ve been in the hospital nonstop. Poor buddy isn’t getting the love he needs. Looking for a loving home that will give him attention, has a yard, and will give this dude the attentions he deserves.
