Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Remi is a very sweet, lovable, older guy looking for a soft place to call home.  Remi looks like a perfect mix of bulldog and boxer.   His owner passed and the Son tried to keep him.  He had 2 larger male dogs already and the 3 did not mesh.   We have not done loose dog to dog testing yet as we've taken care of his skin issues and ear infections as well as a huge bladder stone removal. If you know these breeds, you know they cannot eat grain filled food.  He's healthy and doing great now! He has not shown any reactivity going past other dogs, even when they are barking like crazy at him (some of the smaller, younger ones).  He met the old cat and didn't care about her at all.  So if you have another dog or need to know how he is loose with another dog, we'll test him.  It was just him and his Dad for 8 years and we'd love for him to just have people to dote on him rather than share him again.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 18, 2024, 8:13 pm

Story
Dash is a spayed female who came to us at about 3 months old with her brother Bernie. She lives outside and has her own house in a covered, weather-protected area next to the house. She's a happy, energetic girl who's a bit too smart for her own good. She loves to play fetch but destroys soft toys immediately. She is a very affectionate girl who loves attention. She works for treats. She's had no problems with adults and teens but has not been around children. She walks well on a leash but needs work, she needs to know that you're in charge. We're rehoming because, in all of our attempts, we've not been able to keep her in the yard. She has a high prey drive and goes after small animals like cats and birds. She escaped and killed the neighbor's chickens. Dash would make a great house dog as she's a pleaser and snuggle bug.

Story
Meet Calvin🩵 Calvin's tale began with a rescue from a slaughterhouse as a young pup. Initially staying at Korean City Shelter, Calvin and his siblings narrowly escaped euthanasia a year later at Adogs. Calvin awaits an adoptive or lifelong family to envelop him in warmth and love. 🙏🏻 *Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 5 *Social Relationships: Gets along well with shelter dog friends. Suggests a preference for a home where he can be the only child due to a temperamental attitude toward more aggressive friends. *Temperament: Timid with a touch, may exhibit a pupil earthquake. Rapid improvement is expected in a loving environment. *Training: Responds well to "house," showcasing intelligence. Calvin, with his pricked ears and wistful eyes, is ready to be embraced by a caring family. Consider bringing Calvin into your home, providing the love and security he deserves. 🐾

Story
Get ready for a lifetime of cuddles and perma-puppy eyes with Max! His foster parents say this about him: "Max is an absolute love bug! He has a lot of energy and zoomies, but settles in quickly, making himself at home. He loves to cuddle up on the couch and sleep next to you on the bed (if allowed). He does quite well on a leash! Max is doing a great job learning how to sit and to come when called. He's also loves trying all types of new foods and has become a big fan of apples, carrots, and celery. An adorable thing about him is he can't help but start drooling when he knows he's about to get one of his favorite treats!" Max is ready to make your family complete! Biggie is approximately 3 years old, he is a sweet boy with lots of energy. He is very strong so although he is not aggressive he is not a good fit for families with small children or babies. Biggie needs a fenced in yard where he can run around when you are not home. Biggie goes potty outside. He is very lovable and needs lots of attention, so if you are home a lot he may be the right pup for you!

Story
Lucy will cuddle with you all day on the couch or go hiking for miles. She's a sweet girl who needs someone who can focus on her as she ages. In July '23, she had surgery to have her anal glands removed after years of complications with scooting and licking. This relieved much of her discomfort, but she still has minor seasonal allergies and a bit of anxiety. With busy work schedules, frequent out of town trips, a growing family, and an upcoming move this summer, we do not feel like we are giving her the attention and focus she deserves. She gets along well with other dogs and cats and we prefer that she goes to a home with other pets. She does best with children who are older and understand that she likes her space, but we have had no problems with Lucy and our toddler. Lucy needs a loving home who has time and desire to care for a dog in her senior years. She has lots of life left in her! Please reach out with any questions we can answer.
