Talked neighbor to give him to me when he moved. He wondered into his yard when he was only 2 to 4 mths. Someone had taken shears a razor blade or scissors and cut off one ear and tip of other. Always been sweet. The neighbor was cruel and abusive. He would stop feeding him till he was bones and I would dump food over fence and dog cookies he loves bananas carrots peas and corn. Neighbor also beat him and locked him in a closet if He got out looking for food. Thor would grab for food from my hand now he gently takes it. Plays with my Chiugier mix gently. Wants to chase cats and chickens but verbally corrects all bad behavior. Big kisser. Need person just as kind as he is.

Story
Bruce came to our home about a year ago. He was malnourished, scared, and had a lock attached to his collar. He started playing with our other dog outside and quickly adjusted to us. He loves being outside and running around so a big yard would be ideal for him to play in. He is not fully trained but listens very well and knows basic commands. Bruce is very sweet and also protective. We have been trying to rehome him for about 10 months but have had no luck.

Story
This picture may be the only time you see Percy's big, beautiful grin. Why? Because every other time you see Percy, he'll have something in his face! Percy must have been raised by retrievers, because he *always* has something in his mouth - if it isn't a toy or his Kong, it is his food. This goober would love to go home with you, but please know that he wants that home full of 'babies' to carry about. This loveable lug also asks to be the only baby for you - no other pets please because he doesn't think you or the toys should be shared. Percy shows signs of being housetrained.   ~  Est DOB: June 2020~  Intake weight:  60#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlApril 22, 2024, 10:15 am

Story
Pepper is just that - hot stuff! Fun, silly, and ready to play all day, she craves an active person to involve her in life's adventures. While she doesn't seem to have had much experience with toys in her youth, she is ready to learn. Hikes, runs are right up her alley. No shared walls for this girl, since her excitement sometimes bursts out in song. She is too much dog for other pets and should be the only one in her home.   ~  Est DOB:  Jul 2019 ~  Est weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlApril 22, 2024, 10:15 am

Story
Storm is looking to rain you with kisses! Her early years as a breeding dog are behind her, and her new life of fun, toys, and love have turned her clouds into sunshine. Her manners are already impecable, but she'll pretend you still need to train her so you can ply her with treats. Then, you can go for nice walks together or snuggle up on the sofa - your choice! A perfect pibble of the squatty variety, she is 52#s of stout adorableness. Storm does have a personal bubble where other dogs are concerned. She will not fuss them when they stay in their own space, but your house needs to be only hers.     ~  Est DOB:  Oct 2013   ~  Est weight:  52#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.html  April 22, 2024, 10:15 am

Story
Handsome Tobias (Toby to friends - like you!) is hunting for just the right home. This big lug with the bright smile likes rides in the car, playing tug, and won't break the budget when it comes to toys - an empty box will do! He is adding to his skill set all the time, recently adding shake, roll over, and crawl to his repertoire. He is rather clever and will help himself to the treats if you don't lock them up tight. Energetic, strong, and not a fan of furry friends, he will need a physically fit and breed experienced person to enjoy life with.   ~  Est DOB: Jan 2017~  Intake weight:  64#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlApril 22, 2024, 10:15 am
