Story
We got Honey from the shelter in December 2024. Our vet estimates she was born that summer, so we're assuming she's almost two years old. Honey is an absolute sweetheart that loves every single person she meets. She loves chasing deer and squirrels as much as chasing her favorite frisbee or playing tug of war. The only reason we're rehoming her is because she is full of energy, and our occupational arrangements have changed to where we're not home as much as we used to be. We feel like it's a disservice to such a wonderful dog and want a family that can give her the exercise and fun she needs. The only warning is she has learned how to jump over a chainlink fence! That's added stress to us trying to give her outdoor time when we're not home.

Story
I have an urgent request for a dog. His name is Sammy and he is a 6-yr-old pittie, with only 3 legs. He has anxiety which is leading to aggression with his owners. It is my son's dog and the anxiety was under control until a baby came along. He is incredibly possessive of her and is aggressive towards her mom. They are planning to have him euthanized this week. I can't take him in because I have the baby 3 days a week. Can you help or do you know someone who can?

Kiwi is a sweet, wonderful dog. She lost her front right leg defending her home from a pack of coyotes. She gets along now very well with three legs. .She is afraid no one will adopt her now because she only has 3 legs. Won't you please prove her wrong and give her a loving home?

Story
Meet Fridge – Your Lovable, Roadside Rescued Best Friend! Fridge isn’t just a name—it’s a whole vibe. This sweet, gentle Pitbull mix was found on the side of the road and has since been on a weight loss journey, proving that second chances (and fewer snacks) can lead to something amazing. Fridge is the neighborhood favorite, winning over kids and adults alike with his calm, friendly demeanor. He’s the perfect mix of laid-back and social, always happy to greet new friends with a wagging tail. In his foster home, he’s been a dream companion, living peacefully with two other dogs and a child. He’s neutral around other dogs, making him an easy addition to a home with existing pets. While Fridge loves a good nap and cuddle session, he’s also discovering his adventurous side! He’s developed a real love for walks and enjoys exploring the outdoors. His foster family says he’s getting more playful every day, even starting to show interest in toys—a big step for this previously overlooked pup. When he’s not out stretching his legs or testing out his growing toy collection, Fridge is a true cuddle bug, always ready for some cozy downtime with his humans. He’s looking for a forever home where he can continue his journey—with love, companionship, and plenty of time for walks and play. Could Fridge be the missing piece in your life? Story
Meet Reese — our comeback kid! Once an emaciated, pitiful pup wandering the mean streets in search of any morsel of food or love, Reese is now a bouncy, playful girl with an enthusiasm for life.  Reese has filled out quickly on the steady diet provided in her loving foster home, but she’s still a pint-sized girl. She’s the perfect small to medium companion, weighing just 17 lbs at about 7 months old. That puts her on track to be about 25-30 lbs full grown.  Reese loves to play with anyone and everyone — other dogs, small children, adults and even cats. She’s light on her feet and does little bunny hops to get your attention. Now that she’s safe and well-fed, she has discovered how fun it is to be a dog. She loves balls and toys — especially the ones that crinkle.  Although she got a late start, Reese is currently learning all the skills mastered by good dogs everywhere — crate training and potty training are on her current to-do list. She’s searching for a forever home that will continue to guide her into her very bright future. Reese is sure to be a bright light and source of joy for the family lucky enough to adopt her! Story
Smiles is quite the character! He’s a silly old man who will let you know exactly how he feels about something! We absolutely love him but despite all our efforts, he is just not a fan of our cat and our 2 year old child is just a little too rambunctious for him. He doesn’t have a problem with other dogs or older kids, but he’s definitely in his retirement years and ready for more low energy living.
