Story
Sammy is a roughly 6.5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier we adopted from the Humane Society 6 years ago. He is a 3 legged dog as a result of abusive owners when he was a puppy. Sammy has always struggled with anxiety and separation issues as a result of the previous owners, he can be reactive and with just recently having a baby the anxiety and separation issues have increased. While he has never been aggressive he has been reactive and gets stressed and likes to nip anytime we are leaving the house so for the safety of the baby we have sadly decided to rehome him. He is incredibly affectionate, knows and learns tricks very well, loves to go on walks despite the missing leg, and most of all loves to cuddle up on the couch under a blanket. He is the sweetest dog but unfortunately can be hard to manage at times and unfortunately had to decide on the safety of the baby first.

Story
Lucy may be small, but she’s full of personality! This compact little cannonball loves to snuggle close—and we mean close. If you're looking for a dog who thinks being your shadow isn’t quite close enough, Lucy is your girl. She enjoys lounging most of the day but surprises you with quick bursts of playful energy. She’s crate trained, heartworm negative, and adores kids and cats (though the cats may be a bit confused by her enthusiastic attempts to play). Lucy generally does best with small dogs, but with proper, very slow introductions, she could be a great match with a, laid-back big dog. This would require some patience on your part, she can not be forced into the "fast track" of meeting another dog. That said, Lucy knows who she is: an alpha female through and through. She prefers to be the boss, so she'd thrive in a home with dogs who don’t mind letting her call the shots—or as the only dog.Despite her size, she makes a big impact. She's low to the ground and highly motivated to keep your floors crumb-free. We call that a bonus feature!Lucy is sweet, snuggly, and full of sass. If you're looking for a dog who brings both cuddles and confidence to the table, she might just be your perfect match.

Story
Mace is a little over 1 years old, I adopted him last February but due to some recent changes in life I can not afford to keep him. He is very loving and will take all the attention he can get. He can be a bit stubborn, but nothing too bad. My biggest struggle has been getting him to walk on a leash. If he does not want to do it he will just sit on the ground and force all of his weight down. I would love for him to have another dog to play with and a yard since that is what he is used to. Him going to a loving home though is my biggest concern. He is very easily excited and not aggressive. Does not bark much if at all. If around other dog, he will bark if they bark. He is a chewer so you have to be careful what you leave around him. He loves doing tricks, he understands: sit, lay down, paw, and other paw. All in all he’s super loving and just purely wants everyone’s attention on him.

Kiwi is a sweet, wonderful dog. She lost her front right leg defending her home from a pack of coyotes. She gets along now very well with three legs. .She is afraid no one will adopt her now because she only has 3 legs. Won't you please prove her wrong and give her a loving home?
