From Shelley's foster: She is a super sweet girl! Shelley is shy at first, other dogs help her warm up more quickly. She loves going to daycare twice a week and it has continued to boost her confidence. She is crate and house trained and knows basic commands. Shelley would be great in a home with other dogs and kids because of her reserved nature.

Story
we have had Grendel for 6-7 and he is about that old. We lived in an apt for a year and he was house trained then but he has since then been outside in a fenced in yard and heated dog house. We have a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old. He leaves them alone for the most part, I am just not comfortable with them out playing with him, so I put him on the leash when they are outside. He would love to play with them he is just so strong I’m scared he will accidentally hurt them. He get next to no attention from us. So when he does get it he is extra hyper and jumpy. He chews on anything left in the yard and digs. I assume that is because he is bored and could be fixed with attention. We have an older shih tzu that he leaves alone. We have found he will whine when away from our house. He will need someone that can take the time to work with him and let him adjust to a new home. He really needs somewhere where he can run and some one who is not intimidated by him jumping on them until that

Ready to fetch toys and play at a moments notice, but also down to claim her spot on your lap for nuzzles and naps - that's Love Bug! She parks her butt upon request, accepts treats ever so gently and trustworthy to have free rein in the house when alone. She would enjoy learning more tricks, maybe you could be the one to teach her. Love Bug also delights in watching T.V. with you. This sweetheart likes her crate and sleeps well there but she'd be more than happy to cuddle up in the people bed with you. She has always been the solo dog in a home and likes to pick and choose her doggie friends. No cats or other small animals please. Est. birthdate is 11/03/2021, 45 lbs., crate and house trained, her $300.00 adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccines, spay and microchip. Love Bug is a loyal and constant companion ready to steal your heart for a lifetime of love!

Parker is good with children, dog friendly with medium to large dogs ( but not small dogs or cats). and will happily sit and flash his signature smile for a treat. He's excellent on leash, enjoys car rides, going for a puppuccino, splish-splashing in water, and as a crumb catcher, helpful in the kitchen. He would absolutely love having a fenced yard to run and play. He is a full on derp for jolly balls and belly rubs. This handsome lad is also an A+ snuggle buddy! Chester fits the bill for anyone looking for a warm, charming friend. The perfect couch companion who enjoys soaking up your attention. Happy to share the remote and won't hog all the popcorn. Treats are his love language and this cool dude isn't afraid to show it. But beware, if you sneak an apple in there, he'll give a look! Take him along to get a pup cup - car rides are his fav. He's always down for a road trip. Just don't forget the doggy sunglasses and bandana because Chester knows how to rock a good look. No cats please - he believes they're furry villains. Est. birthdate is 6/8/2021, 54 lbs., vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee $300.00. Chester will certainly bless a family with all that he is!

Story
Delilah May is an adorable, six month old, Boxer puppy mix. She is about 40 lbs and all legs! She has big Boxer energy and loves to play fetch, go on walks, and is a great running partner (She's been clocked at an 8 minute mile!). She is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping her continue her training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. She would love a larger doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep her from getting bored. Delilah is very much a puppy and could accidentally knock over young children and smaller dogs with her playfulness. Children over 10 years old preferred. Delilah is house trained and crate trained. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this adorable bundle of joy and make her part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Delilah is located in Huntsville, AL. With transport available to your area. Friends of Rescue requires a virtual home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members. Brenda

Story
Meet Aubie 💙 Aubie is a 10 year old Boxer mix. He had a wonderful home where he was spoiled and loved up until a few months ago and then his world fell apart 😔. Aubie’s owner got very sick and could no longer care for himself or Aubie. Aubie was placed at a local vet clinic for several months in hopes that someday he could return home to his person and the life he had always known but unfortunately that is not going to be possible due to the fact that his previous owner has had to have more surgery and has sadly lost his ability to walk. So now Aubie is looking for a new home where he has never has to worry about the future and he can just focus on being the good boy that he is. Aubie is crate and house trained and would do great in a settled home where he still gets to be active. We think a home with an active person or couple or one with older children would be great for Aubie. He is okay with other dogs but is not really interested in being a doggie friend. Aubie just wants a person to hang with and to play ball non stop 🎾. He is very active for his age so a fenced yard for him to run around in is a high priority especially since he loves to spend time outside. This boy has been through so much recently, we are praying his new family will see this post and give him the opportunity to live out his life in the way he deserves being loved and cared for by his new hero. ❤️
