Well it's time to come meet Bentley. He is potty trained, he rides great in the car, knows sit and takes his treats gently, he walks AMAZING on leash, loves affection. He would enjoy laying next to you on the couch watching Netflix or going for a walk. Although Bentley is not dog reactive, he would like to be the only pet in the home, he rather not share his toys with other fur friends, older kids 10+ due to him being timid/shy.  Bentley would love to have a backyard to go and sunbathe and enjoy the fresh air, and take a dip in the kiddie pool.  Bentley is a sweet, timid/shy boy! He needs a home that has patience and allows Bentley to feel secure and safe. Takes him a bit to warm up, but once he does, you are best friends for life. Bentley is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 11, 2024, 12:00 am

Story
Hello there! My name is AB, and I’m a one-year-old sweetheart who’s been through quite an adventure. Let me tell you my story: Background: I found myself at Central Arizona Animal Rescue when my previous owner decided they no longer wanted me. It was tough, but I’ve got my tail wagging again! Now, I’m on a mission to find my forever home. Physical Health: I’ll admit, I was a bit underweight when I arrived. But guess what? I’ve been working on my figure, and I’m feeling much better now! The rescue team got me spayed, so no more worries about puppies. Plus, I’m up-to-date on vaccinations—safe and sound! Personality: I’m a people-loving pup! I’ll follow you around like your loyal shadow because I crave attention and affection. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, I’m your girl. Doggy Social Skills: I’ve had my fair share of doggy drama. While I get along with other dogs, I’m a bit cautious. You see, I’ve been attacked before, so I’ll stand my ground if needed. But I promise not to start any trouble! The Cat Question: Cats? Well, that’s a mystery. I haven’t met any yet, but I was around smaller dogs, so maybe I’ll be okay. Let’s do a proper introduction to find out! ‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143 Leash Manners: I’m a pro on the leash! Walks are my jam. As for house training and other skills, it’s a bit of a mystery. But hey, we can learn together! Forever Home: Are you ready to open your heart and home to a sweet, resilient pup like me? I promise to fill your days with tail wags, sloppy kisses, and endless love. Let’s make memories together! E-mail Central Arizona Animal Rescue at mike@caaronline.org today to set up an appointment to meet me, and let’s start our happily-ever-after! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143     PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Central Arizona Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation. We are located in San Tan Valley, AZ. If you have other dogs already, you must bring them for introduction prior to adoption. Story
We found him during covid, at the time no shelters were accepting pets, we tried for a few months to find his owners but to no avail. We are a busy family who travels monthly for work and hardly home, he spends a lot of time by himself sadly, but because of his breed I didn't not want to take him to a shelter and risk being put down. We are trying to find him a good partner or family, so he isn't alone all day and his quality of life improves. We did get him Neutered , and all of his shots. He knows commands such as sit, stay, play, walk, laydown, shake, he is very smart! He loves walks and loves to play, loves his squeaker toys. He is allergic to chicken, and pork. We feed him a special diet and will supply two months of dog food. He is a sweet boy and a family dog, he doesn't get mad if you take his food. He does well with unknown woman but not unknown men.

Story
I’m Joanna! I’m the sweetest girl around. People are my favorite. When you come through the door, I’ll shower you with love and kisses, but quickly settle back into my cozy spot on the couch. I like fetch and have recently picked up tug of war as a new favorite playtime activity. I won’t complain about a walk, especially if it leads to a big grassy park. When I get home, my family must be ready for some snoring. I’ll be pooped! Some treats, belly rubs, and excessive snuggling would be my favorite ending to a perfect day. My perfect home includes my humans who want to pet me and snuggle with me as I take my sleep very seriously. I would like to have older kids in my home to play with. I am a flexible pup who can adapt easily to different play styles with the right furry friends. I am selective of my friends and have preferred medium or large sized dogs with the proper meet and greets. Though sometimes I prefer to be by myself altogether and get all the attention myself. Story
Blythe is the biggest cuddler who thinks she's a tiny lap dog. She gets super wiggly when she's excited and will bring you the closest stuffed animal she has as a gift. She gets very attached to kids- however older kids are probably best because she doesn't know her size. She's great on a leash! You'll laugh the whole time while on walks because of her wiggly butt and floppy ears. Along with walks, Blythe also loves to sunbathe and playing in water. She loves her crate, especially at bed time as long as she has her blanket and stuffed animal. She's a bed hog and has no sense of personal space and will steal your pillow. She loves her veggies and thinks broccoli is a treat! Do you like to watch movies or play video games? Blythe is the perfect pet because all she wants is to 'be by'. Her ideal home would be where she can be the only dog since she loves the spotlight and all the attention. Her green eyes and big smile will make you fall in love! https://forms.gle/zxH9sZwuJ4XFqM5r9

Story
Hello there, my name is Rhinestone. I am a 5 year old pittie mix. And quite the gem I am. According to my foster dad, “This little girl is so sweet.” And I am quite the sweetheart! I love people as I am super affectionate with my very soft wiggly body and wagging tail. Although, I do have a skin condition and chronic dermatitis. But please don’t let that spook you away. Since living with my foster family, my skin has been improving! My skin is going through stages of redness, swelling, scabbing, and peeling. However, I am a great snuggler, and I love to sleep like a little ball every night next to my foster dad. I will not be adoptable until I get to a better place with my skin, but once I am through my most critical medical care and can be transferred to a non medical foster, my foster family will be on the lookout for her next foster home. Would you love to meet me? I know I’d love to meet you. https://forms.gle/676xUcmeQi9kdjn96

Acquired him as a puppy with my ex fiance at 8 weeks old. He is just over 2 years old, date of birth is january 26 2022. He was my ex fiances dog, he didnt have time to train him. Unexpectedly my ex fiance was incarcerated. Due to loss of second income and having 2 other dogs and 2 kids, I am unable to keep him. He is very sweet and cuddly, just needs training. Just want him to go to a family as a single dog, someone who has the time, patience and love to help him.

Story
Hello, I'm Keona, but my friends call me "Kiki" I'm a well-mannered and beautiful 9-year-old pup with a story of resilience and hope. I was rescued from county after facing challenges with my mobility, but guess what? All I needed was some love and a break from kennel life to get back on my paws. Now, I'm happily strutting around and ready to find my forever home. I know all the classic commands – sit, stay, down, roll over – and I'm always eager to show off my skills. I've overcome so much, and I'm proud of my progress. Being treated like the princess I am, I enjoy the spotlight. While I cherish being the solo furry member of a family, I'm also quite sociable and have been known to get along with other dogs. Don't worry about introductions – they're always done gradually to ensure everyone in the family is comfortable before making any decisions. I'm just looking for a loving home where I can share all the affection and joy I have to offer. Can't wait to meet my forever family and start our wonderful journey together!

Story
Hi! My name is Lola and I’m on the lookout for a place to call home! Let me tell you a little about myself! I’m 4 years young and 54lbs. Rumor has it, I’m the perfect size and I couldn’t agree more! I may come off a little shy at first but that’s because I’ve been through quite a bit in my short lifetime. When I’m not busy learning new tricks and having fun with my toys, I’m doing the next best thing..giving my love to everybody, of course! I’ve heard the best feeling is to love and be loved in return! Since being given a new leash on life, it has brought out all my best qualities! It is still uncertain how I feel about dogs and recommended I go to a home with older kids. It isn’t easy finding “the one” but I’m certain they’re out there! Perhaps it’s you? Have your people call my people & let’s get the ball rolling! Did someone say ball???
