Story
At just a year old, Ashley was sadly surrendered to the county shelter when the cute “puppy-phase” was over, and they "didn't have time for her". Scared, confused, and beyond nervous in such a stressful environment, Ashley was placed on the euthanasia list for her fearful kennel behavior and lack of proper socialization. We took her in knowing this beautiful girl deserved a chance to learn that this world doesn't have to be so scary after all. Ashley turned a corner with us, and her personality began to blossom. We put her with our trainer to work on basic obedience, socialization and confidence. Her achievements in training have been amazing! She has been out socializing with people (and dogs) in public places. She is learning how to properly play, and she has learned commands such as “sit”, “stay”, “place”, “lay” and “leave it”. Ashley isn’t just a beauty, she’s got brains too! Ashley is now ready for a home -- the most perfect home for her. We are looking for adopters who can give her the structure, routine, activity and adventure she needs to continue to blossom and grow. She would love to have another fur friend to play with, and we are recommending a home with no children. Ashley would do best in a calm, consistent household committed to continuing her training and socialization. Ashley's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, microchip, spay and completed obedience training. We will also include a session with our trainer so her new family can learn all of her commands. Apply here to come meet Ashley: https://lovethemallrescue.org/ashley We can pretty much guarantee you'll fall head over heels in no time!

Story
Who has two big ears and is ready for her forever home? It’s Rue! Rue is an adorable and lively 4 year old pit mix. What is she mixed with? Welp, judging by her ears, it just might be a rabbit...or kangaroo! And she has the energy to match! A fun loving girl, Rue came to us after getting sick at the county shelter and finding herself on the euthanasia list for a doggy cold. Because of her fun-loving, sweet spirit, she was a volunteer favorite at the shelter, and we just couldn’t let that be the end of her story. Since coming to the rescue, Rue has been working on learning basic training commands, is house broken, plays well with dogs, and LOVES to play with toys! Rue would do best in an active home that can commit to daily walks, outings, and so much love. Rue adores car rides and is ready to join you on your next big adventure. Rue’s adoption fee includes a completed veterinary exam, vaccines, spay, microchip and of course those adorable ears! Apply here to come meet this girl:https://lovethemallrescue.org/rue She'll have your heart melted in no time!

Story
While these Pup Stars may not be able to carry much of a tune, they certainly still know how to steal the show! Good Samaritans took in mama Adele after they found her pregnant and wandering an industrial park. While awaiting her intake appointment at the county shelter, mama gave birth to 11 beautiful babies in the finder's home. After no owner was found, they were then transferred to the shelter where they had difficulty finding foster placement due to the pet overpopulation crisis we are facing here in Phoenix. One day, LTA's founder was at the shelter with her daughter while saving another dog who was scheduled for euthanasia. The shelter staff asked to show them this adorable family who was desperately in need of rescue. Our founder's daughter laid eyes on mama and those [then] three-week-old pups, and that was that. Two days later, all 12 precious lives were safe with us here at LTA. Like any pop star, these pups put on quite a show with their adorable antics. We could watch them playfully pounce and roll around on their little round bellies all day long. And bias aside, these Pup Stars have the perfect personalities -- all thanks to their mama Adele who is sweet as pie, dog-friendly and a total dream girl. The entire family plays nicely (with added puppy flair, of course) with people, children, and other dogs. These 12 precious lives would fit into any amazing home looking to help them become the best lifelong companions we know they can be. Each Pup Star's adoption fee includes their completed veterinary exams and pending microchips, spay/neuters and complete vaccine schedules. All dogs (mama included) are currently available on foster-to-adopts only until all medical has been completed (and covered) by us. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required once the application process is complete and you have been selected. The adoption can become official after each dog is altered. We do require that fosters crate and potty train, as well as work on basic commands. We know if they learn young, you will have a lifetime with a well-behaved dog! The Pupstars would love active homes with backyards (unless you are active and in a condo or apartment). Apply to meet this darling family. We just know you’ll love these little legends! https://lovethemallrescue.org/pupstars

Story
Picked up as a stray and taken to the county shelter, Clarice was quickly placed on the euthanasia list after they discovered she was unable to bear weight on her front leg. Soon after they sent her labs out, she was diagnosed with valley fever, which that sealed her fate. She couldn't leave the shelter alive, unless she went to rescue. As soon as we saw those precious eyes and sweet smile, we just couldn’t stand the fact that this gorgeous, one-year-old girl would be euthanized for such a treatable disease. We busted her out of there, and she surprised us with full-on tail wags and a bouncing personality that made us second-guess she was fighting anything at all. This girl is resilient! Clarice was immediately seen by our veterinarian and placed on proper pain medications and antifungals to fight her valley fever. All of that aside, though, Clarice remains a carefree, active girl, who loves dogs, people, kids, and honestly, just life in general. She is a daily reminder to us that she more than deserved that second chance at life we're grateful we could give her -- she truly is something special. Clarice would LOVE a home with another dog to play with. She does well in public places, loves car rides, and is up for any adventure. She has been learning her obedience commands and now knows sit, lay, place and how to not pull on the leash during walks. She is even potty and crate-trained! Clarice’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, spay, vaccinations and microchip. If you are ready for an adventure girl up who's literally up for anything -- especially all the cuddles and snuggles she can get -- apply below to meet this special girl. She'll have you wrapped around her finger in no time. Please apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/clarice

Story
Please welcome Rocky to Sky Sanctuary! Rocky found his way into rescue when one of our previous adopters purchased him off of a homeless man in order to provide him with the love and care that he so desperately needed and was clearly not getting. Skinny and afraid, she carefully loosened the twine "leash" from around his neck, paid the man and they were on their way to a better future. When our adopter reached out asking for help and agreeing to foster, we knew we had to help! We were so pleasantly surprised when we met Rocky. He's not your average puppy. At about 4 months old, and much smaller than he appears in pictures, Rocky came into the sanctuary like such a little gentleman! As we began taking photos of him, he sat calmly and observed his surroundings. Rocky is a Pitbull mix and is just as sweet as can be! If you are interested in adopting or learning more about Rocky, please submit an adoption application through our website at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. Once this application is submitted, we will happily answer any questions you might have and set up a meet and greet.
