Story
We got our sweet Bleu (affectionately called Bubba) when he was around 8 weeks old back in February of 2022. He was neutered in January of 2023 and has been the best boy! He was house trained in the first few months that we had him and has been so well behaved. We got him before we had our kids and he adores them and is very gentle with them. He lets them cuddle up to him and lets the baby climb over him. He is a snuggle bug and prefers to be inside majority of the time, but loves to get his energy out by running around the yard. Even though he does wonderfully on the leash, he needs a home that has a fenced in backyard for him to play. He does not do well in a kennel, but does well being left inside. He’s been great for the vet and the groomers (everyone there LOVES him) but he’s the only dog here and doesn’t like other dogs as much. He lived with another dog for his first five months with us, but that’s been it. He’s a sweetheart and needs all the cuddles and love you can give him!

Story
June  is a delightful girl  who is i ncredibly relaxed and do not need much activity. Sh e is exceptionally sweet and easygoing. June  and her “brother” Jabba   h a ve faced a series of unfortunate events. After the passing of their owner, the family made the difficult decision to surrender them with the intent of euthanasia. We believed we had found them a forever home, but now they need to relocate once more. Our hope is to find them a stable and loving forever home where they can enjoy their golden years either together or separately.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 29, 2025, 1:20 pm

Story
Josie is a very sweet, high-energy girl who loves to play and be part of the fun. She gets along well with other dogs but does best with those closer to her own size, as her enthusiasm can be a bit much for smaller pups. She’s still learning to play gently with puppies and continues to make great progress. After a full day of activity, she loves to cuddle up with her people or her dog friends and unwind. Josie is kennel trained and does well when it’s time to rest. She does tend to get car sick and isn’t a big fan of car rides, but once she’s out of the car and given a few minutes, she’s ready for her next adventure. Josie would thrive in an active, loving home that can match her energy and provide plenty of playtime, companionship, and affection. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Petfinder inquiries are not considered applications. Once your application is received, a member of our Adoptions Team will contact you within 2–3 business days.
