Story
Baby, a heart-wrenching 3-year-old pit bull mix, was on the brink of losing her life when we rescued her from Lifeline Animal Shelter. With mere minutes to spare, we pulled her from the euthanasia list, saving her from an uncertain fate. When we first met Baby, she was one of the saddest dogs we had ever seen. Her eyes held a deep sorrow, a reflection of the hardships she had endured. But beneath her somber exterior, we saw a spark of hope, a longing for love and a chance at a better life. We believe that Baby deserves a loving family who will cherish her for the gentle and playful soul she truly is. She's a big girl with a heart of gold, eager to bond with her new human companions. With patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love, Baby can blossom into the happiest dog you've ever known. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and playful companion, Baby is the perfect match for you. Please consider opening your heart and home to this deserving girl.

Story
Splot is a handsome Bully with a big heart and a goofy, lovable personality. He’s a sweet, playful cuddle bug who thrives on attention and enjoys nothing more than a good belly rub and quality time with his favorite humans. It’s no wonder he’s a staff favorite — everyone who meets him falls in love! Splot’s ideal home is one where he can be the only dog. He can get overstimulated and a little nervous around other dogs, so a pet-free household will help him feel calm, confident, and loved — plus, he’ll get all the attention he deserves! This intelligent, active boy loves playing with toys, going on walks, and learning new things. He’s eager to please and would thrive with a family committed to continuing his positive reinforcement training. Splot is house-trained, up to date on all his shots, and ready to find a forever home full of love and cuddles. Do you have a Splot-shaped hole in your heart? Come meet this staff favorite and see if he’s the perfect match for you!

Story
Sweet Pea has a heart as sweet as her name. Found as a stray in 2024, she’s shown herself to be a loving, gentle, and affectionate companion, ready to blossom in a forever home. She is friendly with people, eager to please, and loves cuddles. Sweet Pea is quiet, calm, and well-mannered, making her a wonderful companion for a variety of home environments. She’s house-trained, crate-trained (though she sometimes needs encouragement), and walks nicely on a leash. While she is generally aloof with other dogs and hasn’t been exposed much to cats or small animals, she could do well with a confident canine companion to help her navigate new experiences. Sweet Pea thrives in a safe, loving environment and benefits from patience, consistent training, and gentle leadership. She has overcome some skin issues and is on the mend, with her vet reporting excellent overall health. Sweet Pea has a few endearing quirks — she teeth chatters when excited and absolutely loves being close to her people. She dislikes cold weather and would thrive as an indoor dog where she can feel cozy and loved. Sweet Pea would do best in a home where she can live inside, be part of the family, and receive dedicated attention and training. With love, patience, and guidance, she will reward her family with cuddles, companionship, and gentle loyalty.

Story
My husband adopted Blu when he was a puppy three years ago. Since then, our family and lifestyle have changed. Blu is a loving, playful dog who adores children and is truly a big baby at heart. He would thrive in a home with plenty of land where he can run and play. Because our family travels often, we want to find him a loving home with someone who can give him the time, attention, and stability he deserves.

Story
Hi we need to rehome Clyde before this winter is bad. He is great with people but not great with other animals. He needs a home where he is the only dog. He is not aggressive and very sweet to people and children. But he is aggressive towards other dogs. He is still intact so neutering may help with this. He is house trained and is very good at following commands. He is eager to please. Makes a great protector.
