Meet  King , a sweet and mellow 9-year-old Pitbull with a heart as big as his love for belly rubs, car rides, and—above all— food  (nothing gets him more excited!). Despite being blind, King navigates his world with impressive ease and confidence, even tackling stairs like a pro. He's fully potty trained, great with other dogs, adores older children, and has never shown food aggression—he’s just a gentle, snuggly soul. Though he's not a fan of crates, King is happiest lounging on the couch or snuggling up next to you, soaking in all the love. If you're looking for a calm, loving companion who will be your biggest fan (especially if treats are involved),  King is ready to rule your heart! Story
Say hello to Lola! She has lived with cats and acted playful, but with her high energy the cats were quite nervous around her. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal into the home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Lola is a very excited, happy, energetic gal. She has a lot of jumpy energy that she is still working on. Lola has been crate trained and acts calm when in the crate. She is house-trained as well. She loves treats and playtime. Lola would love to have durable toys to chew on and keep them entertained. Patient and consistent training using treats is a good way to work on obedience cues. Ask a TCHS staff about training and suggestions for the perfect toy for your new friend from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
Meet Palo! This handsome man has been described as a sweet, cuddly boy. He loves to play, especially if his people are involved. Palo has lived with cats and was playful with them but did not appreciate them being by his food. Palo should be fed separately from other animals or fed in a kennel. He has briefly met dogs and was not a fan; however, he has not had the chance to be fully introduced. He may prefer to be a solo doggy in the home. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs would be required prior to adoption. Palo has big baby energy, trying to crawl into his people's lap. When it's thundering out, he'll find a cozy spot to hunker down and wait out the storm. He has done well when kenneled for short periods of time. He has been described as a high-energy boy who would benefit from lots of enrichment. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. Story
Location: Rosemount, MN Hi! I’m Bailey I’m your classic happy puppy with a playful spirit and a snuggly heart. I love my toys, zooming around with my sister, and then settling in for cuddles. Tummy scratches, belly rubs, and kisses are my favorite. After dinner, I’m usually curled up on the couch near my people. I greet every morning with a full-body tail wag and happily follow you from room to room like your little assistant. I kennel at night, I’m learning potty training quickly, and I’m smart and eager to learn. I do great with other dogs, cats, and kids. I’m the perfect mix of playful and affectionate — just waiting for my forever family. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Hanover, MN Don’t let his concerned little face fool you, Cody is a smart boy and very confident! Cody would do best in a home with other older dogs who are still young enough to play with him, but will show him around and help him learn. He engages in play with his 2 older and MUCH bigger foster siblings and doesn’t fear them one bit. He’s learned how to use a dog door, where to sleep, and where the water is all from his foster siblings. He watches their every move and does exactly what they do. He should master “sit” within the next few days. Cody is doing a great job with potty training! He will hold it through the entire night and while crated. The humans still need to get him out often and celebrate his outdoor potties to keep up his good behavior. Cody loves toys and needs ones he can’t chew up and swallow. He’s still learning what he should and should not chew on, he is a puppy after all! He’s been crated without a bed, but with a soft blanket and a frozen kong for a few hours. Cody has been sleeping in a dog bed next to his foster mom and sleeps through the entire night. He’s fed in the crate and sometimes gets a little distracted and takes a while to finish his meals. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
