Story
Location: Otsego, MN Meet Charlie! If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky, tail-wagging best friend, this is your guy! This sweet boy lives life with enthusiasm and a big, goofy grin. At just 2 years old, he’s the perfect mix of playful energy and growing maturity. He’s fully housetrained and does wonderfully when left out in the home — no mischief here! While he’s not a fan of the kennel (he’d much rather be near his people), he settles in beautifully in a cozy house environment. This playful pup absolutely loves toys — squeaky toys, balls, ropes… you name it! He’s also a big fan of making doggy friends and would thrive with another playful pup or regular playdates. Even better? He adores kids and would make an amazing family dog. His gentle, happy nature makes him a wonderful companion for a home full of laughter and activity. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will greet you every day like it’s the best day ever, this sweet Boxer mix is waiting to meet you. Could your home be his happily-ever-after? 🐾 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Teef 1yr Boxer x Male. $200 plus tax, 46lbs. This guy is a hoot! He loves stuffies, snacks, and every person he meets! He prior lived with a bunch of kiddos and did great with them. He knows sit and shake with both of his paws. Teef is quite the energetic boy and would do best in a home that can keep up with that energy level! He does need a bit of training with leash manners and mouthiness as when he gets excited he mouths on you like a little puppy.Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news or visit us at WWW.THEHSKMC.COM. Story
Meet  King , a sweet and mellow 9-year-old Pitbull with a heart as big as his love for belly rubs, car rides, and—above all— food  (nothing gets him more excited!). Despite being blind, King navigates his world with impressive ease and confidence, even tackling stairs like a pro. He's fully potty trained, great with other dogs, adores older children, and has never shown food aggression—he’s just a gentle, snuggly soul. Though he's not a fan of crates, King is happiest lounging on the couch or snuggling up next to you, soaking in all the love. If you're looking for a calm, loving companion who will be your biggest fan (especially if treats are involved),  King is ready to rule your heart! Story
Say hello to Lola! She has lived with cats and acted playful, but with her high energy the cats were quite nervous around her. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal into the home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Lola is a very excited, happy, energetic gal. She has a lot of jumpy energy that she is still working on. Lola has been crate trained and acts calm when in the crate. She is house-trained as well. She loves treats and playtime. Lola would love to have durable toys to chew on and keep them entertained. Patient and consistent training using treats is a good way to work on obedience cues. Ask a TCHS staff about training and suggestions for the perfect toy for your new friend from the TCHS Re-Tail Shoppe. *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
