Story
Location: Plymouth, MN My name is Hank. My foster hoomans say I'm a good boy with a big head, how rude! I love attention! I like to be where my hoomans are so that I can get all the belly rubs. I learned that if I put my paw up, the hoomans will scratch my belly and paws. I just love the belly scratches, they makes me smile. I can sit, shake, and stay (ok, I'm working on that last one a little). I try to be good in my kennel and bark for a minute so someone will notice me. When they don't, I just take a nap. I love to sleep on the hooman beds but I'm ok in my bed at night as well. I wait like a good boy in the morning to go outside too! I like to go for walks and don't even bark at other hoomans or dogs when they walk by. I love the snacks on the ground during the walks (my foster hoomans call them helicopters and leaves?). I only pull a little on the leash when I'm excited to smell a new smell. I don't think I have met a cat yet. I'm curious about the little furry thing they keep in the cage (the hoomans call it a Hamster). I'm excited to be around other dogs but sometimes they is scared of me (that makes me sad). I like to protect my toys and sometimes bark if the other dogs touch them. I don't bite the hoomans, I likes to lick them. Especially when we snuggles with my bankets and they gives me the treats. I like the bigger hooman kids because they is not scared of me. The little ones are ok. My dream home would have the older hooman kids, and another dog my size that I can plays with; or a home by myself so I can get all the attention. I like other people but need to make sure they are safe for my family first. Please come adopt me so that we can go on all the walks. I am so excited to find my forever home so that I can cuddle with my hoomans and lay with my bankets. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Centerville, SD Hi! My name is Happy, and have you ever seen a smile as big as mine? It matches my playful and lovable personality! Toys, treats, and getting pet are some of my very favorite things. I'm a great pal to both people and other dogs. My playful puppy energy comes out when I'm playing with canine friends, but I also enjoy taking breaks from play-time to hang out and chillax with my people. One thing my future family should know about me is that I've been known to climb gates and go exploring... (hey, I'm just curious about the big wide world out there!) My foster mom says I do great in my kennel, and potty training is going great when I'm kept on my schedule. I'm a goofy, happy, loving guy who's ready to meet my new family and bring lots of smiles to their faces! ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Centerville, SD Hi, I'm Skip! I'm a happy, goofy guy who can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I love snuggling and being pet. (My foster mom says I sometimes give affectionate 'love nips,' but it's just because I'm so excited when someone is petting me!) I'm good with other dogs and love to play with them. Sometimes I get a little protective of my stuff (like bones and toys), but I'm working on that. I don't mind my kennel, and I'm excellent company! I like to lounge around chewing a bone or taking a snooze. My foster mom says I'm a super fast learner, and I'm food motivated (treats, please!). In other words, I'm one smart, lovable, trainable fella! I've been waiting a long time to meet my forever-family. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Alcester, SD Oh, hi there! I'm Carol. Are you my new BFF? I sure hope so! Everyone who meets me says I'm a real sweetie with a kind and loving heart. I'm also athletic and energetic, and I'd be a fantastic companion for someone who loves to go for walks or hikes. I'm still working on perfecting my leash-walking skills, but I'm learning! That's another great thing about me: I am one smart cookie. I'm housetrained and kennel trained - in fact, when it's bedtime, I go to my kennel all on my own. I know 'sit' and several other commands, and I'm eager to learn new tricks and games. I like kids, but it would probably be best if I went to a family with no kids under age 5, as I can be exuberant when I'm excited. I'm on a low-dose of doggy anxiety medication which helps calm me down. Hey, what can I say? I have a general zeal for life! I think cats are way too much fun to chase, though, so my friends at Rescue Network say I should go to a home without any feline friends in it. When it comes to canine pals, I do get along with them, so long as they're not the bossy type. What I'm looking forward to most of all is meeting my new forever people-pals! I've been waiting a long time for that day, and I've got a lot of love to give. :-) ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Faribault, MN Hello, my name is Eva (Ava), my foster mom also likes to call me Evis bo bavis or just Evis for short. I came from South Dakota where it's suspected I was very heavily bread. I came with some puppies and my body condition showed signs of having many litters. I have a mom bod if you will. I was very nervous of news things and new people. I made a lot of people really nervous because I wanted to play using my mouth but my foster mom knew I just needed some tough love. I've been here for 3 months already, In rescue for 5 months total. I've had a lot of training with foster mom but she knows I still need more to come... I can be stubborn sometimes. I'm looking for a home with absolutely no cats and no future of having any. I'm good with dogs but generally the calmer ones, I have a very hyper foster sister and shes honestly not my favorite. I tolerate her at best. I need someone who has experience with strong dogs, both mentally and physically. My foster mom can help anyone with training but if you have prior experience with training dogs even better! New people scared me a lot when I first got here but foster mom has helped me learn it's all about baby steps. One of my favorite things to do is go for car rides, it helps me get out in the world and learn that not everyone wants to hurt me. When we're not training I LOVE to play with my super chewer squeaky toys. I also get a stuffed one every once and awhile and those are so fun to destroy. I love to zoom all over the back yard and act crazy but then once it's time to come in and settle down I'm great at napping. Mom says I snore LOUD, so heads up haha! My foster mom has a long history of working with scared pups like me. If the right person comes along and doesn't have experience but wants to learn in order to give me a good home, even better. It's predicted I'm 5 but I don't act like it so who knows. All I know is I'm ready for my forever home. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). I got Rose from a local breeder in Phoenix, AZ. She is almost three years old but still looks like a puppy. She’s the BIGGEST cuddle bug and loves to be around people. That’s the reason I am unfortunately looking for a new home – it breaks my heart but she deserves to have more love / attention than what I can offer her right now. I hope to find a family that will give her loads of attention, love, and play time. Rose is a couple words is a cuddly, loving, playful, and the ultimate companion.

Story
Meet Miss Faith! She is a rambunctious, smart, sweet puppy. We estimate her to be almost 2 years old. She came to us from a severe neglect case, and was extremely skinny and unsocialized. She has come a long way since she was rescued, but still has a lot of learning to do. She loves her people once she trusts them, but has some insecurities, so slow introductions with people are key. She loves to snuggle, give kisses, and spend time chilling on the couch. She also loves to fetch and go for walks. Essentially, she is a puppy in a 2 year old body, that loves to love but has a lot of world to discover!! By the way she LOVES men, so if you are a guy looking for a new furry companion, she is your girls!!!Faith is curently in a board and train facility in LaCrosse WI (this is where her meet and greet will occur), where they are teaching her to trust new people. She does great with men and will give you a longing look until you decide to come over and say hi. She is slower to meet women, but if you avoid initial eye contact at first, and use her name with treats, she adjusts quickly. She has learned that fellow furry friends are a great thing and LOVES to play! She needs a low energy, confident dog as dogs with aniexty only feed hers. Additionally, we would also recommend a home without young children. She is so powerful, that littles may get knocked over during play time. We think with more training and discipline, she could settle into a home with older kids, but now she just has too much enery behind her love. Ideally, we are looking for a patient, disciplined adopter that can help Faith learn and grow the proper way to associate with her humans and canine friends. We know she can be a champion for her breed, and we want a family that will help her do that. She is a determined, smart, goofy girl that needs boundaries and rules to learn how life works and teach her the tools to be successful! Please at least consider a meeting to see if she is a good fit for you. We think she is truly a diamond in the rough, that deserves to have a loving family! Faith's adoption fee is $475 and will arrive fully vetted, altered, and microchipped. If interested in Faith, please fill out an application at www.newbeganimalrescue.org ##989459##

Story
Meet Champ, a striking 75-pound blend of Doberman Pinscher and Staffordshire Terrier, with a heart as big as his physique. This charming gentleman is on the lookout for a special lady to call his own. Champ takes his fitness seriously and loves to stay active. His long legs make him a fantastic runner, especially when he's bounding through winter snow on exhilarating trail runs. He's even a pro at solo fetch, enthusiastically tossing a toy and retrieving it with zest. Champ's game for a flirtatious tug of war, making him an excellent muscle-building partner. After a good workout, Champ indulges in some self-care by tending to his dental hygiene with chew toys by the fireside or a well-deserved Kong filled with peanut butter and a tasty milkbone. He may take a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he's comfortable, his affection knows no bounds. Champ absolutely adores bedtime snuggles, relishing the role of the big spoon to keep you warm on those chilly nights. Champ would thrive in a home without shared walls, as he takes his job as your protector seriously and will alert you to any passerby with his enthusiastic barks. While he's great with other dogs, Champ isn't a fan of cats or small creatures. Due to his exuberance, he's best suited for a household with older children, preferably in middle school or above. When it comes to adults, Champ is looking for a home where he can be the center of attention among adult women. He's had some tough experiences in the past, likely with male figures, and prefers to avoid competition for affection. This wonderful boy would also benefit from a family with prior experience with bully breeds and confident, strong leadership. Champ isn't just brawn and good looks; he's also quite the smarty. He's already mastered commands like "sit," "shake," and "drop" during his time in foster care, and he's eager to learn more from his special lady. With impeccable manners, he's a joy to take out on the town, strutting his stuff with the leash in your capable hands. Champ is a sweet and playful companion seeking the perfect lady to be his exercise partner, snuggle buddy, and evening date. If you think you might be the one he's been waiting for, please send an application to his foster, and they'll arrange that first unforgettable date. ##1329389##

Story
Greetings, dear friends! I'm Groot, and in the loving embrace of my foster family, they've dubbed me "the best boy." At 55 lbs, I'm a delightful blend of love and dashing good looks, wrapped up in a pit bull package. With me, you'll find the perfect balance of energy, playfulness, and the occasional lazy day as a couch potato. Currently, I reside with my foster parents, a human foster sibling, and a canine foster sister whom I adore with all my heart. While I've found a soulmate in my foster sister, it's worth mentioning that there have been a few other dogs I've met who didn't quite earn my seal of approval. But fear not, I don't require the title of "only dog" because I absolutely relish playing tug of war with my foster sister. All I need are slow introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable, and I'm confident we can form lasting friendships that would make our tails wag with joy. I've developed a fondness for leisurely walks with my foster family and have been diligently refining my leash manners. Nowadays, the only time they're not stellar is when something fascinating catches my eye, beckoning me to explore. This summer, I had a revelation when I discovered the wonders of a hose. Let me tell you, it's one of the most captivating things ever – chasing that elusive stream of water is a sheer delight! In my time with my foster family, I've acquired some impressive skills. I've learned how to sit, stay, and even shake paws. Admittedly, I don't fully comprehend the reasoning behind these commands, but I've come to realize that they result in the most delectable treats, so I don't question them too much. After an exhilarating play session, I find immense joy in lounging around, chewing on toys, sticks (though sticks are strictly an outdoor affair, as per my foster mom), or bones while basking in the warm embrace of the sun. My foster family likes to tease me, claiming that I occasionally fall asleep and snore during these peaceful moments, but I choose not to believe them; that would be rather embarrassing! Now, my foster dad mentioned something about watering the garden, and I'm quite certain he could use my assistance with that hose. If you'd like to know more about me, please don't hesitate to submit an application. I'm eager to meet you, share my love, and embark on this heartwarming journey together. ##1749538##

Meet Momma Paloma. She is a beautiful gray and white pit bull that has been doing an amazing job raising her puppies. Paloma is house trained and very low energy. She is happy to lay around on the couch with her humans. She hasn’t met any cats yet. She has met some other dogs and does fine with the one other larger dog in house but doesn’t like the small dogs around. She walks very well on a leash and loves to sit in the front yard and people watch. It takes her a few minutes to warm up to new people but that might be different when she’s not around her babies. If you are in search of pure love to complete your family this girl will not disappoint you! Paloma will be available once she is all done raising her babies in early June. She is really looking forward to being off the hook for all these hungry mouths! ##1993643##

The name only fits me sometimes - I can be a bit of a tornado when my humans come home from work or right when I get my day started, but I calm down pretty quickly and transform into the biggest cuddle bug. Don't let my stoic pictures fool you.. I am a happy boy who doesn't hold back my love! Not to squeak my own toy, but my foster parents say I am the easiest foster they have ever had. The crate isn't my favorite place to be, but I hang out in there just fine, and will even sleep in there if I have to. I LOVE my big foster brothers! We run around the yard and play and then snuggle up together for a nap. They showed me the ropes and let me right in to their pack (after a proper slow introduction, of course!). I'd love a fur sibling of my very own to grow up with! I do sometimes pull on my leash when we go out for walks, but ya can't really blame me because the world is just so exciting, am I right!? I can't wait to find my forever family and bring them as much joy as I've given my foster family. What are you waiting for??? Apply to meet me so I can show you how amazing I am!
