Story
My name is Lasagna. I am a short and stout girl looking for love. I hope you fall in love with my pouty face. I was surrendered to animal control with my two puppies and boyfriend Spaghetti. He is also looking for a home through the rescue. I am a quiet and affectionate girl who would make a great addition to most homes!!!

Story
My name is Mr. Spaghetti. You heard that right. Don't judge my name please hehe :) I was in a home, where I was not contained. So my owners kept getting contacted by animal control. I was often found roaming the streets, with my counterpart Mrs. Lasagna (who is also available for adoption) and my two puppies. Finally one day, my owners turned me into animal control along with my little family. The folks at CARA rescued me from there! I have heartworms sadly but the rescue is covering the cost of the treatment so I am still adoptable! You just have to make sure I get to my appointments!! My counter part also ended up having heartworms :( I am about 4 years old and 70lbs. Currently I am working on leash walking, since I am not super use to it. I seem to be non-reactive towards other dogs. I ride well in a car. I am just a meatball with a big heart! I am a really good boy, I just need a committed owner to provide me some structure, understanding, and patience! Please inquire about me!!

Story
Mimosas love language is words of affirmation! Verbal encouragement really helps her in new situations. Mimosa takes her time to warm up to new situations and new people, but once she trusts you she will be the most loyal best friend youve ever had. Mimosa is equally happy to join you on a walk or relax with you on the couch. Mimosa has a happy, playful energy and loves to learn new things. Mimosas perfect home will be with someone who will be patient as she adjusts to her new life. Other thoughts - I think Mimosa would do best in a home with older children because she doesnt like people reaching out and grabbing at her. Little kids running around and grabbing at her might scare her. Mimosa would do best with a calm dog around her size. Dogs who are very energetic or very forward with their body language will need to be slowly introduced to her. Mimosa is actually not a very fearful dog, she just hasnt been exposed to many things so shes cautious in new situations. All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Hi! Do you like to throw? Great, because I love to play fetch! I also love humans, but I am not too fond of cats or other dogs. I'm a cute little pitty that is a one pet family guy! If you have the perfect home for me, please adopt me! I have been waiting patiently to try and find an awesome family! If interested, you can fill out an application at lpah.org/adoption.

Story
This sweet boy showed up to my back door a few nights ago, we went to the vet and scanned for a chip and unfortunately it does not appear he has one, they estimated he’s about 6-8 months old. We reported to local animal control and have posted him on every social media and news outlets we can get whole of but unfortunately it looks like this boy is in need of a loving home. The very first thing I noticed about him is his loyalty and attention, he comes when whistled for every time. He understands potty training, doesn’t mind a crate, and is just the biggest cuddle. Hes getting a checkup at the vet later today but he appears to be completely healthy and uninjured. I hate to surrender him but I just don’t have the ability to take him in right now - I’d love to find him a good home

Story
Polo is an 6 1/2 years old American terrier pit bull. He loves kids and lots of love. Polo is a very active and playful dog, he loves to be walked. But With my busy schedule, travelling and my back problems I am no longer able to care for him like he deserves. He’s not an outside dog. He has never slept outside at night. He does like to lay out in the sun and nap. But does not like to sleep outside in the dark. I’m looking to find him a loving home. Someone that will love and take good care of him.
