Story
Eros is all the puppy energy you could ask for in a fully grown medium sized dog. Sweet, smart and easy to train, this boy loves to play with dogs, cats, and people. He's crate trained and house trained. This little pit mix is the definition of super chewer! He loves to gnaw gnaw gnaw his toys, so teeth-safe durable toys are a must! He will happily take on destuffing a plush toy, though he tends to try to ingest anything he shreds, so supervised destuffing is necessary.Eros LOVES couches! He has shown little interest in sleeping on the bed with his foster siblings/parents. His go-to sleep, nap, and sit place is the couch.Eros would love a dog sibling to play with, and while he likes cats, he can be a bit much, so any feline siblings need to be dog savvy and have places to get up and away from his antics. He is learning leash manners, but will need continued education in this area. He's not aggressive, just impatient and overly excited to gogogo.Adoption fee of $150 includes neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing, and heartworm/flea/tick preventionApply here: https://2pawsup.org/applications/adoption-application/November 3, 2024, 1:08 am

Story
Django, a 75lb Pitbull, is 9 years old and displays no behavioral issues. He is well-versed in house training and has received training classes at PetSmart since he was a puppy. Known for his calm demeanor, affectionate nature, and excellent compatibility with kids and other dogs, Django readily welcomes children of all ages and enjoys being in the company of people. He is up to date with all his vaccinations, and his complete medical records and history are accessible at Banfield. As I navigate the complexities of an ongoing high-conflict custody and divorce case, along with the mental strain it entails, I find myself unable to continue caring for this animal. My daily struggles have reached a point where I cannot bear the additional burden on my own well-being. Moreover, impending relocation necessitates parting ways with this pet. Each passing day, the stress intensifies, and I urgently need to have this animal relocated to restore peace and facilitate my progress moving forward.

Story
I found Hunter on the street about 3 months ago. I took him to the animal shelter, and he came up for adoption and I adopted him. I would describe Hunter as an adorable and playful boy. He can be shy in new surroundings and places but adjusts quickly. I live in an apartment and didn't realize he is a very active dog, and I would prefer trying to find someone to adopt him who has a house, yard, and even children and other dogs to play with. He loves to be outside and play tug of war with his rope. I can't stress enough about his character being so sweet and playful. Hunter is 1 year 7 months old and weights 44lbs. He walks on the leash fairly well and from my experience when I walk him, he doesn't bark at people or animals that he sees. He does bark when he wants to play. I do have all his shots up to date and can provide his vet records and I did a DNA test on him also to screen for any health issues and found known. I can provide you with that report too.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  All dogs on our website ARE available and require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before you can be considered or meet any of our dogs. Please consider this sweet girl today! Here is our application:    https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC Frannie is a sweet and beautiful, Blue Brindle Pittie. She's about 2 years old and weighs around 45-50lbs. She is gentle natured with lots of personality. She's super cute and will give you a silly, full body "giggle" wag! She loves being with her people and is a wonderful companion. Frannie has done well with her crate training and house breaking. She needs to be crated when left home alone (6-7 hours), and as of now she is crated overnight. She's food & toy motivated, eager to please and is learning basic manners. She is gentle with food and waits patiently for her meals. At times, she still acts like a puppy but also likes to chill on a dog bed and entertain herself with a bone or toy. Frannie overall has great leash manners. She can be an alert barker and would do best in a home not an apartment. Although, she goes potty well on leash, she would really enjoy a fenced yard to get her "zoomies" out. She has a moderate energy level and after playtime with her foster siblings, she enjoys exploring the yard and sunbathing on porch or lounging on couch/bed. She also likes to play fetch and is learning to bring back. Frannie would do best with good natured, neutered male dog that could help guide her when she's unsure. She would do OK as a solo dog also as she loves getting attention from her humans. She would do best with older kids (8+). She's good with "dog savvy" cats, but if kitty is shy and runs, the chase may be fun. Slow and appropriate intros are always recommended with kitties. Frannie had an unstable start to life and has some insecurities, but she will open up quickly with treats and sweet talk. She would succeed greatly with an experienced owner that can continue to build her confidence. Please consider adopting (or fostering) this sweet little lady! Check out Frannie's videos below! Story
Hi! My name is Cedar! I am a male puppy with a big heart full of love. I am as sweet as can be, always ready with a friendly wag for everyone I meet. There's not a mean bone in my body. I am also confident, smart and curious. I do well with other dogs (my foster home has 3 big dogs and I love hanging out with them!) and I have met a cat but I didn't pay much attention to them. I have not met children. I am starting to learn the house training stuff... I know where to go when I am in my puppy pen and when I am outside I know to go potty. I have not begun crate training just yet but my foster mom thinks since I am so smart that I will take to sleeping in a crate no problem. My favorite thing? Cuddles! Yes, I am a playful and energetic pup but I also love nothing more than a good snuggle. I am still trying to figure out what toys are but I have figured out that the soft, fluffy ones are a lot of fun! I also love a peanut butter filled Kong...that is my favorite snack! I have been to the vet, so I am up to date on my shots and I am microchipped. I've been hearing my foster parents say what a good puppy I have been so I must be pretty special. I love them a lot but I would love anyone who showers me with love and affection. In return I promise to fill your life with joy, love and lots of cuddles! Please come meet me so you can see how special I am!

Meet Niko, a vibrant 4.5-year-old Boxer mix, brimming with energy and a fun-loving spirit. This lively pup adores car rides and delights in indulging in pup cups from his favorite coffee shops. Niko is well-mannered, being both house and crate trained, proficient in basic commands, and always gentle when taking treats.Enthusiastic about walks, Niko is quite skilled on a leash, but could benefit from further training in this area. A secure, fenced-in backyard would be the perfect space for him to thrive. As an eager learner, Niko's food motivation makes him all the more endearing and devoted to his human companions.Niko yearns to be your best friend, following you around, cuddling, and giving affectionate kisses. His loving personality truly stands out and will win your heart. He will flourish with an attentive owner who can provide the attention he craves. While Niko's compatibility with cats remains uncertain, he bonds well with his foster sibling, but can be selective when it comes to meeting new dogs.
