Story
Django, a 75lb Pitbull, is 9 years old and displays no behavioral issues. He is well-versed in house training and has received training classes at PetSmart since he was a puppy. Known for his calm demeanor, affectionate nature, and excellent compatibility with kids and other dogs, Django readily welcomes children of all ages and enjoys being in the company of people. He is up to date with all his vaccinations, and his complete medical records and history are accessible at Banfield. As I navigate the complexities of an ongoing high-conflict custody and divorce case, along with the mental strain it entails, I find myself unable to continue caring for this animal. My daily struggles have reached a point where I cannot bear the additional burden on my own well-being. Moreover, impending relocation necessitates parting ways with this pet. Each passing day, the stress intensifies, and I urgently need to have this animal relocated to restore peace and facilitate my progress moving forward.

Story
Tucker’s foster Mom can’t call him a good boy often enough, so she gave him Good-Boy as his middle name. Now everyone can call him that! Tucker’s original adoptive family returned him to JCAPL due to family circumstances. He has no behavior issues and is a very quick learner. He learned to fetch in 5 minutes and several commands on the second or third attempt. He now asks to go out and walks well on a leash. Recently he began to ask to go to bed before 8:00 pm and has done this every night since. As a result, his foster Mom is now going to bed at a more reasonable hour. Tucker likes to make his own bed by arranging his blankets in a certain way. If you cover him completely with one of his blankets including his head, he lays down and stays wrapped like that all night. Tucker also likes to sit with you on the couch. If he wants to get closer, he will sit on your arm or chest, butt-first. If he wants to sleep, he will rest his face against your leg or poke his head behind your back. Tucker is a handsome and fine boy who will bring laughter and silliness into your life. Contact us about meeting him today! Tucker is house trained and crate trained. He is 65lbs and is 3 years old. Story
JoJo is a fawn colored, two year old, sweet girl. She had a litter of puppies and now that they have all been adopted, it is her turn. She was a great mama and deserves a great forever home. JoJo is very active and she goes on 3 walks daily. She will literally dance and tap her nails with a smile waiting for a walk. She rushes to the door and sits for her leash. She listens very well to commands. Her foster human brother introduced her to his skateboard and JoJo will run alongside on her leash and has started pulling him as well. JoJo loves affection. She readily waits to be pet and will hold her head up to have her neck rubbed. If she needs more love, JoJo will come up and stand in front of you and put her head against you asking for more rubs. She loves car rides. She is crate and potty trained. Due to her size older children will be best. Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen?
