This adorably sassy little chunk is Roly Poly. She's confident in her body and knows exactly how cute she is. Roly is exceptionally well behaved at the shelter, in fact, she is one of our quietest and calmest residents. One of Roly's favorite activities is heading out for a nice stroll with her favorite people, where she shows off her lovely leash manners and her most endearing little waddle. She is so very gentle and easy to handle, making her a fan favorite with our staff and volunteers. Roly loves her people so deeply, and she is a champion snuggle bug. She is especially affectionate towards children, making her the absolute perfect furry addition for a family. While she adores people, Roly is wary of other dogs and would do best as an only fur baby. She recently spent time in a foster home where she absolutely thrived! Her foster mom shared these loving notes about her: "Roly Poly is sweet and wonderful! She does so well with our children (ages 15, 11, and 1 year). We leave her in the house when we go out and she is fine, I'm sure she could be kenneled but she doesn't need it. She is potty trained, knows basic commands, and is so well-behaved. She powers down at night and is THE BEST snuggler!" Roly Poly is as charming as she is adorable, come meet her and fall completely in love.

This happy boy is Blue, a most handsome pittie with the biggest of smiles! Blue is very affectionate and he absolutely adores people, and he quickly became a favorite among PAWS staff and volunteers. Despite being 4+ years old, he still has a youthful energy (in short bursts!) and he does enjoy a good romp around the play yards. He also does this adorable snake impression, where he belly-slithers through the grass! Despite his comical antics, as Blue enters his mid-life years he is learning to appreciate the simple pleasures of napping in the sun and watching the world go by from the comfort of his bed. He would love to spend the rest of his life with someone who will take him on fun adventures, followed by relaxing cuddles and lots of belly rubs. Toots has enjoyed many shelter breaks with our amazing foster families, and here are some glowing notes they shared with us: - She is super affectionate and LOVES to cuddle. Wherever you are, she is right there beside you and ready to snuggle in your lap. - She has a lot of playful energy! She would do best with a person who's able to take her on long daily walks and/or has a large fenced-in yard. Fetch is her favorite game! - She has nice leash manners and listens to her handler. She might pull when she sees a squirrel or rabbit, but otherwise she is a dream to walk with. - She never barks, except when someone knocks on the door. Location: Kyle,TX Pickup/meet up in Kyle or I can meet anywhere in the Austin area. Health status: UTD on shots and spayed Rehoming to a loving family. Temperament: good, very friendly good with kids and adult. High energy at times, but is also happy to lay at your feet. She needs somewhere she can run, she has lived on 2 acres, but is also an “in the house” dog. Sunshine is my mother’s dog. My mother had to be moved to a nursing home a few months ago because she couldn’t take care of herself any longer. She raised Sunshine from a pup. Sunshine loves people and has never been aggressive towards anyone. All it takes is to pet her once and she’s your friend for life. She grew up with a tabby cat and they played together all the time. The cat was rehomed last week. I have been looking for a home for her for several months to no avail. I have her registered on nokillnetwork.org but haven’t received anything yet.

Meet Georgia, our little peach. Georgia was found in a ball against a fence, left to fend for herself while clearly not feeling well. Now, she is a very healthy girl now after she recovered from parvo like an absolute champ. We couldn’t be more impressed with her recovery and resilience. Georgia gets the zoomies and it is the cutest thing. She tucks her bottom and her tail under half her body and looks like a long legged gazelle using her two front legs to sprint around. She is a blast to watch when she really gets going! Georgia also loves to play with toys and shakes them in her mouth, she can toss them around forever and keeps herself entertained. Georgia is such an observant and loving dog. She loves to cuddle and look deep into your eyes to show you how much she appreciates you. Her foster notes that she truly makes her feel like she loves her and is thankful to be next to me or lay on the couch with me. Georgia is a gem on a leash and is crate trained. Georgia can have some anxiety being left alone which manifests itself in tearing up her toys so she needs to learn that humans will always come home for her and she will never be left out to die again. Georgia's ideal home is with humans who are home often, active, and with another pup so she can play. Georgia would do well with older children and would love to go on a walk a day and run around in a yard. She loves going outside and going for walks. Those are two of her favorite things.
