All she wants is to be with her humans at all times. This sweet girl was found in a Lowe’s parking lot in south Texas. Unfortunately she was not microchipped and after many weeks and attempts to find an owner, no one came forward for her. Now she’s more than ready to be adopted into a home that will love her and keep her safe forever! This girl is very playful and loves fetch but can make her own fun out of anything! She would love an active home that can give her exercise or to learn a job to help her humans. She is good with dogs and currently lives with multiple other dogs in the finder’s home. She gets excited around cats and kids, so she will need some guidance/ training but very doable with her smart personality. Birdy is estimated about 1 year old and only 40 lbs. My brother recently lost his job and is unable to take care of Roux anymore. I am currently taking care of her but I have two dogs of my own so cannot keep Roux forever. She gets along and plays a lot with my medium sized dog but chases my small dog and I have to keep those two separated. Roux is a big goofy girl but is quite skittish. She's about 6-7 months old and will need someone who can put some time and effort into training. She hasn't met too many new people and takes a bit to warm up to someone new. She's a pretty chill dog though, loves belly rubs, and a very loyal dog. Up to date on shots, but hasn't gone into heat yet so not spayed. She knows the basic "sit" and "down" commands. Still working on fully potty training but knows to use a puppy pad inside. Not crate trained. She's pretty good with walking on a leash as well. I don't recommend households with small children or small dogs.

Kai is a 5-year-old Pitbull/Lab mix who’s mellow, loyal, and full of love. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, but sadly need to rehome him due to allergies in the family and limited time to give him the care he deserves. He’s been an outdoor-only dog his whole life and is not house-trained. Kai really enjoys being around children, he gets excited and wants to greet them with kisses and tail wags! However, he doesn’t yet know how to stay calm with little ones and sometimes jumps up with his front paws to lick their faces. He’ll need a patient home that can help him learn gentle manners. Kai is very food-motivated and loves relaxing in the shade. He’s not interested in other dogs and prefers to have his own space. I adopted Maverick from the WILCO Shelter, and while the experience wasn’t the right fit for me, Maverick himself is truly a wonderful dog. He is sweet, loving, and playful, and he forms strong bonds with his people. He is house trained, loves playing fetch, and enjoys cuddling. Maverick does experience anxiety with crating and does best without one. He is dog-reactive and currently pulls on the leash and struggles with consistent command-following, so he would benefit from continued training and an experienced, patient owner. With structure and time, he has great potential. Due to recent personal life changes, I’m finding it difficult to give Maverick the time and attention he deserves. My goal is to find him a loving home where he can receive the consistency, exercise, and affection he needs. He is a very good boy and would thrive with someone who can invest in him.

I adopted Herman from the Austin animal shelter about a year ago, they estimated he was about 2 which makes him coming up on 3 years old now. I’m looking for him to go somewhere where he’ll have access to a big yard, he loves to run around and play with you and toys, he’ll go on walks with you or just chill on the couch after he’s tired from playing! He very much wants to make you happy and is very lovable! I’d say he’s energetic to a point when he gets tired from playing so much and wants to cuddle on the couch.
