Story
It breaks my heart to write this, but I’m looking for a new loving home for my pitbull mix due to major life changes. I now live in an apartment and will be working long hours (around 12 hours a day), and it’s not fair to him to be alone that much. He deserves a home where he can truly enjoy being a dog. He is extremely friendly, affectionate, and loves cuddles. He’s great with people, loves attention, and is always happy to be around his humans. He listens to commands, behaves well, and is very eager to please. He also loves to play and has a lot of love to give. He would do best in a home where someone has time for him, space for him to play, and the ability to give him the attention and companionship he deserves. My only goal is to find him a safe, loving, and permanent home where he will be happy and cared for. If you or someone you know can provide a great home for him, please reach out. I want to make sure he goes to the right family who will love him as much as I do.

Story
Phoebe is a 4.5 yr old pitbull. She is super energetic: loves being outdoors, hunting squirrels or lizards, sun bathing, going on walks etc. She has had basic training and listens to basic commands like sit, lay, leave it, shake. She is terrible on a leash unless you use a choke collar. Her recall is terrible as she has the attention span of a fly and rather go see what was rattling the bushes instead of come back to you, so she is always on a long leash bc of that. She loves to snuggle and loves affection. She will eat any and all food, and will beg you for it until you finish. She is crate trained, however, she only likes her crate at home, not new or "strangers" crates. She has separation anxiety, and is anxious in busy areas or around a lot of people or other dogs like a dog park. She does better with small groups. She has terrible skin allergies and takes apoquel daily. She does great with other dogs and cats, although she will resource guard food from them.

Lucie is an adorable girl. Got along great with other female pittie in the home. As with any new dog on dog relationship, a proper introduction is encouraged. Her adopter passed away and left Lucie homeless. Great with kids and especially the previous owner's granddaughters. Lucie as you can see from the photo loves her person. My brother recently lost his job and is unable to take care of Roux anymore. I am currently taking care of her but I have two dogs of my own so cannot keep Roux forever. She gets along and plays a lot with my medium sized dog but chases my small dog and I have to keep those two separated. Roux is a big goofy girl but can be skittish. She's about 6-7 months old and will need someone who can put some time and effort into training. She hasn't met too many new people and takes a bit to warm up to someone new, so it will likely take more than 1 meet and greet to get on her good side. She's a pretty chill dog, loves belly rubs, and very loyal. Up to date on shots, but hasn't been spayed. She knows basic commands. Still working on fully potty training, my brother used puppy pads with her. She does fine in a crate and she's pretty good with walking on a leash as well. I don't recommend households with small children or small dogs.

Story
Kai is a 5-year-old Pitbull/Lab mix who’s mellow, loyal, and full of love. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, but sadly need to rehome him due to allergies in the family and limited time to give him the care he deserves. He’s been an outdoor-only dog his whole life and is not house-trained. Kai really enjoys being around children, he gets excited and wants to greet them with kisses and tail wags! However, he doesn’t yet know how to stay calm with little ones and sometimes jumps up with his front paws to lick their faces. He’ll need a patient home that can help him learn gentle manners. Kai is very food-motivated and loves relaxing in the shade. He’s not interested in other dogs and prefers to have his own space. He would do best as the only pet in a calm and stable environment. 🌟Loyal, independent, affectionate, food-loving, observant, protective, eager to please🌟 Kai has a gentle soul and is ready for a second chance with a family who can help him thrive.

Story
I adopted Maverick from the WILCO Shelter, and while the experience wasn’t the right fit for me, Maverick himself is truly a wonderful dog. He is sweet, loving, and playful, and he forms strong bonds with his people. He is house trained, loves playing fetch, and enjoys cuddling. Maverick does experience anxiety with crating and does best without one. He is dog-reactive and currently pulls on the leash and struggles with consistent command-following, so he would benefit from continued training and an experienced, patient owner. With structure and time, he has great potential. Due to recent personal life changes, I’m finding it difficult to give Maverick the time and attention he deserves. My goal is to find him a loving home where he can receive the consistency, exercise, and affection he needs. He is a very good boy and would thrive with someone who can invest in him.
