Story
Allow me to introduce you to McLovin, a charming and spirited pit bull-lab mix who will celebrate his 2nd birthday this coming January. He has a striking pure white coat adorned with tiny black dots at the very tips of his ears, which adds a unique touch to his appearance. More than just a pretty face, McLovin possesses an incredibly sweet disposition and a lively personality that makes him a joy to be around. McLovin's journey began when we rescued his mother from the streets, just one week before she gave birth to a litter of nine adorable puppies. From day one, we have lovingly cared for McLovin, who is the last remaining puppy from his litter. Unlike his siblings, who all found their forever homes through various adoption events hosted by another rescue, McLovin was adopted as a young puppy but sadly returned to us after only a few days. His new adopters felt that he was experiencing depression and insisted it was best to bring him back. However, it's important to understand that this response was completely normal; having spent his whole life in our care, McLovin was simply struggling to adjust to a new environment. In hindsight, it seems that it was fortunate for McLovin that he was returned, as it became clear that his previous adopters did not possess the patience or understanding required for a deaf dog. This handsome and lovable boy is now in search of a dedicated forever home where he can thrive and grow alongside a caring family. Despite his deafness, McLovin is not held back in any way. He is an energetic and playful dog who enjoys frolicking in the yard and exploring his surroundings. He eagerly engages with new friends, both human and canine. McLovin has an impressive eagerness to learn, and he responds enthusiastically to my silent commands communicated through hand signals. He has mastered several tricks, including sitting on command and giving high fives. Although he makes a genuine effort to stay in one spot when asked, his affectionate nature often leads him to seek out cuddles, hugs, and kisses, which is a testament to his loving spirit. Finding McLovin a remarkable and patient forever home is my ultimate goal, as he has so much love to give. If you are interested in bringing this sweet boy into your home and heart, please don't hesitate to reach out for more information or to arrange a meet-and-greet. Thank you for considering giving McLovin the loving family he truly deserves! Story
Meet Miyuki, a delightful pure white Pit Bull/Dogo mix who is ready to steal your heart! This sweet girl has recently been spayed. It looks like she may have been used for breeding in her past, which is why her teats hang a little low. But don’t worry—since she’s still so young, we expect them to shrink back to normal soon. We think she’s around 2 years old and is in great health, and she’s heartworm negative! Miyuki is full of playful energy and has that lovable, excitable pit bull personality we all adore. She knows how to sit and will give you an over-the-top double high five when asked—trust us, it’s super cute! When it comes to cats, Miyuki shows curiosity. Initially, she was quite interested in an outdoor cat, but after seeing our kitty inside every day (from separate rooms), she’s not too bothered anymore. Just to be safe, we think a home without cats would be the best fit for her. While she hasn't interacted with kids since arriving with us, she has never shown any aggression towards the humans in the house and she's been nothing but gentle. Miyuki just wants to share her love, get some attention, have little chats, and enjoy playtime! We’re also thrilled to share that, despite her beautiful pure white coat, she is not deaf—something we were a bit anxious about at first! If you’re looking to give this sweet girl a loving forever home, we’d love for you to fill out the form below. Thank you so much! https://form.jotform.com/241765023842152 Please share far and wide to help us find her that perfect home where she will be truly cherished as she deserves! ❤ As part of our adoption process, we are committed to ensuring that this is the perfect match for both you and the animal. Finding your forever best friend is our priority, and we appreciate your trust in us to facilitate this important decision. When introducing other animals in your home, we strongly recommend a thoughtful and gradual approach with all of our rescues. Keep in mind that not all dogs will get along. They have their own preferences, just like people do. The same goes for interactions with children; it's crucial to prevent overwhelming the adopted animal during the first meetings. Take the time you need to assess how they interact. Please be aware that all adoption fees are classified as donations to support our mission and organization. If the dog is returned for any reason, the donation will not be refunded, as we will incur costs for their transportation back to us. Thank you for your understanding and for making a difference in the life of a rescue animal!

Story
URGENT: Rocko Needs You!Meet Rocko, an 11-month-old pit mix who is currently at risk and urgently needs your help! This sweet boy is feeling the weight of kennel stress, and his heart aches for the warmth and love of a forever home. Shelters can be daunting places for animals, and while Rocko waits for his second chance, he’s dreaming of a life filled with cuddles, playtime, and companionship. He’s still in his learning stages and would thrive with a little guidance and some consistent human interaction. Rocko prefers calm canine friends, as energetic pups can be overwhelming for him. He simply wants a space where he can blossom and be himself. Rocko had a day of pampering and love! He showed his true colors outside the shelter—full of joy and affection.------------------------- Here`s a recap of his day out: Oh my goodness, Rocko is a bundle of joy and oh-so-sweet! He hops right into the kennel, settling down quietly without a peep. Rocko is calm and confident during bath time and even let me dremel his nails with ease. He’s definitely in his chewing phase, playfully grabbing a sneaker and bouncing around with it! With some toys of his own, he’ll learn what’s okay to chew.He walks great on a leash, frequently checking in with his handler. My 13-year-old took him for a run, and it was heartwarming to watch Rocko look back for guidance. He is full of puppy energy. Just Imagine watching your kiddo take him for a run; their bond will surely fill your heart with joy! Rocko`s youthful exuberance means he might accidentally knock over little ones in his quest for love and snuggles, so he’d do best in a home with older kids who can handle his playful nature. He loves people, especially kids, wiggling with joy when he sees them. Rocko knows how to sit and takes treats gently, and he adores cuddling in your lap for snuggles. He might be fine with a cat, but supervision is a must due to his playful nature. We had such a blast with our handsome Rocko!
