Story
Meet McLovin, a one-of-a-kind pit bull-lab mix with a heart full of love and a smile that can brighten any room. This handsome boy turned 2 years old in January and sports a stunning pure white coat sprinkled with tiny black speckles at the tips of his ears—just one of the many things that make him uniquely adorable. McLovin’s journey started when we rescued his mother from the streets, just days before she gave birth to a litter of nine puppies. Since day one, McLovin has been raised with care and devotion. While all of his siblings found loving homes, McLovin was briefly adopted as a young pup but returned after only a few days. His adopters felt he was experiencing depression, though in reality, he was simply adjusting to life outside the only home he had ever known. Unfortunately, they lacked the patience and understanding needed for a deaf dog, which ultimately led to his return. Now, McLovin is looking for a special forever home that will embrace him fully. His deafness doesn’t slow him down one bit—he’s a playful, energetic pup who loves romping in the yard, meeting new friends (both human and canine), and learning through silent communication. He’s already mastered hand-signaled commands like sit and high-five, showing just how eager he is to learn! Though he tries to stay still when asked, his affectionate nature often gets the best of him—he’d much rather be soaking up cuddles, hugs, and kisses. This sweet, spirited boy is ready to find a dedicated family who will appreciate his unique qualities and give him the love he deserves. Story
Meet Miyuki, a delightful pure white Pit Bull/Dogo mix who is ready to steal your heart! This sweet girl has recently been spayed. It looks like she may have been used for breeding in her past, which is why her teats did hang a little low. We think she’s around 2 years old and is in great health, and she’s heartworm negative! Miyuki is full of playful energy and has that lovable, excitable pit bull personality we all adore. She knows how to sit and will give you an over-the-top double high five when asked—trust us, it’s super cute! She's get the zoomies quite often and even occasionally chases her tail! She's definitely high energy, so playtime is a must! However, she does love to sunbathe and if not much is going on then she's zonk out, relaxing wherever she fits (usually somewhere on the floor). When it comes to cats, Miyuki shows curiosity. Just to be safe, we think a home without cats would be the best fit for her. We also think that until she goes through proper training, we would say that she needs to be an only dog since she does tend to become a little possessive of her space. Probably from being on the street and in competition with other street dogs. While she hasn't interacted with kids since arriving with us, she has never shown any aggression towards the humans in the house and she's been nothing but gentle. Miyuki just wants to share her love, get some attention, have little chats, and enjoy playtime! We’re also thrilled to share that, despite her beautiful pure white coat, she is not deaf—something we were a bit anxious about at first! If you’re looking to give this sweet girl a loving forever home, we’d love for you to fill out the form below. Thank you so much! https://form.jotform.com/241765023842152 Please share far and wide to help us find her that perfect home where she will be truly cherished as she deserves! ❤ As part of our adoption process, we are committed to ensuring that this is the perfect match for both you and the animal. Finding your forever best friend is our priority, and we appreciate your trust in us to facilitate this important decision. When introducing other animals in your home, we strongly recommend a thoughtful and gradual approach with all of our rescues. Keep in mind that not all dogs will get along. They have their own preferences, just like people do. The same goes for interactions with children; it's crucial to prevent overwhelming the adopted animal during the first meetings. Take the time you need to assess how they interact. Please be aware that all adoption fees are classified as donations to support our mission and organization. If the dog is returned for any reason, the donation will not be refunded, as we will incur costs for their transportation back to us. Thank you for your understanding and for making a difference in the life of a rescue animal!
